“Sandra is always a wonderful sitter for our German Shepherd, but this time she really went above and beyond. Due to complications with our daughter’s birth, we were at the hospital for quite some time. Sandra offered to keep our shepherd for an extended period of time without issue. I also cannot thank her and her family enough for the kindness they demonstrated during this incredibly stressful time. I recommend Sandra without reservation.”

“Andrew is the best sitter for senior pups. I travel a lot for work and i know Marlo is well taken care of when Andrew watches him. Cosmo is an amazing pup friend to Marlo.”

“I am so thankful to have found Melody. My dog, Opal, took to her right away, and she LOVES being over there for daycare and overnight stays. The times are super flexible, and I’m thankful to have someone that loves my dog as much as I do! I get pictures and videos on how Opal is doing throughout the day. Definitely the best dog sitter in Lex!”

“Brooke and Jason as well as their kids took such great care of our little Lucy. We got lots of updates including photos and could tell Lucy settled right in with their family for the week having so much fun. We were very happy to hear the kids gave her lots of love too since Lucy is especially fond of them. We won’t hesitate to have Brooke and Jason watch Lucy again in the future.”

“Ann took excellent care of my dog, Max! She ensured that he got plenty of playtime, and sent me plenty of pictures and updates daily. She even surprised me by giving him a good bath! She also kept him an extra night when I got stranded at the airport. She certainly has a passion for caring for dogs.”

“Very happy with how my two cats, Ziggy and Sid, did with Natasha for 6 days. I especially liked the updates and pictures, it made me feel more comfortable and less guilty. Highly recommend.”

“Audrey and Samuel are amazing they always take great care of my pups! Our dogs are a handful but they love having them and the dogs always get so excited when we turn down their street!”

“Erin was fantastic! She sent pictures and updated me and it was obvious Dudley was having a great time. My flight was delayed and she was completely understanding and happy to keep Dudley a few extra hours. I definitely plan to re-book with Erin! Highly recommended.”
“Jennifer is a true gem. Being new to the area, my dogs stay with her was the first with a new Rover and it couldn’t have gone better. Jennifer is kind, attentive and communicative. My pup had a great experience and we can’t wait to be return visitors. Two paws up and all of our thanks to Jennifer!”

“Scout had a wonderful stay here! The yard and dog companion(s) was just what he needed and wanted. He came home happy and tired from all his fun times there! Don’t hesitate to send your dog this way. She even gave him a bath before sending him back home with us!”

“Elena is terrific and the experience keeps getting better each time she watches our pupper. This time our pup didn't even want to leave! If that's not a sign of proper sitter, I don't know what is. Thanks again Elena!”

About: I’ve cared for dogs and cats for many years and have experience pet sitting for multiple families, including drop-in visits and overnight care. I’ve cared for cats regularly over several years, watched dogs of different sizes, ages, and personalities, and genuinely enjoy spending time with animals of all kinds. I also volunteer through Doggy Day Out at the shelter, where I help walk and socialize dogs, and I grew up with a family dog, so caring for animals has always been a big part of my life. I enjoy walks, playtime, cuddles, and making sure pets feel comfortable, safe, and loved while their owners are away. I have experience incorporating caregiving and pet care into my daily routine and enjoy creating consistent schedules for feeding, walks, playtime, potty breaks, and companionship. I am organized, dependable, and make it a priority to ensure pets feel comfortable, safe, and cared for. My schedule allows me to provide regular walks, check-ins, enrichment, and quality time, and I always work to follow each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible to help them feel at home. I spend a lot of time at home and have a flexible schedule, allowing me to provide plenty of attention, companionship, and consistency throughout the week. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their normal routines as closely as possible to help them feel comfortable and reduce stress. I make sure pets have fresh water, are fed on schedule, and receive plenty of attention, enrichment, playtime, and companionship. I prioritize safety by keeping doors and outdoor areas secure, being attentive during walks and potty breaks, and cleaning litter boxes as needed. I also provide updates and photos so owners feel informed, reassured, and connected while away.
“Megan was great!! She sent regular updates and sent lots of pictures. Bella fit right in with her crew of dogs. I highly recommend if needed a pet sitter!”

“Maggie is sweet! Our dog seemed to have a great time with her, her dog, and cats. Her dog took a bit of time to warm up to our dog, but it seemed they became good friends shortly thereafter.”

“Addie is fantastic!! We met her twice before we left town just to be sure things were all set— and our dog loves her. We were flexible about where she stayed with our dog- her house or ours- because we were gone for 16 days. She did everything she could to make sure we were comfortable with her. She sent pictures, responded quickly to texts, and Levi’s know how everything was going. Additionally, Addie is a genuinely nice person who is driven in her work as a dancer. We were very impressed with her. We are looking forward to many more trips, knowing our dog is safe and well loved in our absence.”

“Tia took such good care of our dog jojo when we were away on vacation. Our dog is shy by nature and takes a bit to warm up to new people/spaces, but Tia was so understanding and patient with our doggo! she sent us updates and pictures on how jojo was doing, and took her on walks around the neighborhood. We could tell when we picked jojo up that she was well taken care of and spoiled with pets! We will definitely be using Tia again in the future to watch our sweet little nervous nelly of a dog.”

“I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter! I was away for two weeks, and Allison was absolutely amazing with my cat. She sent daily updates and photos, kept me informed about how things were going, and clearly cared deeply for my fur baby. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing my cat was in such loving and capable hands. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, kind, and attentive pet sitter! She is awesome!”

“Jessica did a wonderful job taking care of our 3 cats! Very attentive and responsive to text messages. She also gave very detailed updates. She will be our first choice the next time we need a petsitter, for sure!!”

About: Throughout most of my life my family has had cats. For a long time when I moved to the country, we only had one cat that was outside most of the time, his name was Henry and he was so sweet. However, after he passed, we adopted two beautiful baby kittens a few months later, Teddy and June! Me and my siblings helped raise those tiny kittens to the big beautiful fur balls they are now and they are the most loving and sweetest cats we have ever had for our family. I also help take care of cats through the humane society at my job at Petsense, I do my best to visit the local humane societies as often as I can to love on all the kitty babies. Cats are beautiful creatures and I truly love every single one I meet, I want to take care of each of them as best I am able. ❤️ I am very clean and make sure that when I am cleaning their space (litter box, play toys, etc.) I do a good job so they can be comfortable. They deserve the best care!
About: As an experienced pet and house sitter, I strive to take the best care of all your animals. I have experience caring for dogs, cats, and small animals throughout their whole lifespan. I promise to care for your animals like I would care for my own, pampering them and giving them the best care whether it be during a walk or a drop-in visit. While in high school, I worked as a vet tech at a local clinic and was trained to give medication, clip nails, & give baths. Personally, I have cared for animals with complex medical needs and am a nurse, which allows me to recognize acute changes in your babies. My goal is always to make sure your pets are cared for the way you would care for them, so that you don’t have to worry while you’re away. I look forward to meeting you and your pets & I cannot wait to love on them like you would. I have taken some time off for my full-time job, allowing me to care for your pets all hours of the day through July 14. After July 14, I will be available to love on your babies in the evenings and the weekends. When I am in your home, you can expect me to be respectful of your space and your animals. I always ensure that I leave a space better than I found it, accounting for safety of your pets and your home.
About: I’ve had many pets since I was very young. I’ve walked, fed, bathed, and gave medicine to a variety of animals. I love caring for them and forming a bond with them. I will be available every weekend to help out with your pets. I can care for them in your home and I can also take them for walks. I will care for your pets by watching over them in your home. I can feed them, bathe them, walk them, and more. I’ll make sure to treat your animals as my own and give them the love and attention that they need.

About: What sets me apart is the level of care and attention I give to every cat like they’re my own. I understand that every cat has a different personality and comfort level, so I’m patient with shy cats, playful with social ones, and attentive to senior or anxious pets. I’m comfortable administering medications when needed and paying close attention to routines, behavior changes, and overall well-being. I also genuinely care about cleanliness — especially deep-cleaning litter boxes and keeping your home smelling fresh and comfortable while you’re away. My goal is to make both cats and their owners feel relaxed, safe, and cared for from the moment I walk in the door. 🐾
About: I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life—I’ve never known a home without a dog. Growing up, I had the opportunity to care for dogs of all sizes and temperaments, from energetic Jack Russell Terriers to loyal Labrador Retrievers and loving Pitbulls. I was always involved in their daily care, whether it was taking them on walks, feeding them, or making sure they stayed up to date with vet visits. My love for animals has only grown over the years. Two years ago, I adopted my dog, Russell, from a shelter, and he has been my loyal companion ever since. I also have two cats, Chief and Reid, who keep life interesting and have taught me even more about pet care. Caring for animals isn’t just something I do—it’s something I’m truly passionate about. I love making sure pets feel safe, happy, and well cared for, and I treat every animal as if they were my own. As a part-time Graduate Assistant, I have plenty of flexibility throughout the day to care for and play with your pups, especially on the weekends! As a dog owner myself, I know what it's like to worry about your pet while gone. I will ensure pets are fed, exercised, and groomed according to their needs. I provide loving companionship, and follow specific care instructions for each pet’s well being and comfort.

About: I've literally taken care of cats forever. Plus, I have three of my own cats who were all strays and had several medically complex issues upon bringing them home, so I am well versed with proper treatment of even the sickest of fur babes!
About: I've had at least four dogs as long as I can remember. As a child, they were my first companions and my second caretakers. Even as I grew into an adult, they were always there to comfort me and to brighten the darkest of days. Dogs hold a very special place in my heart and I am eager to give back what they so willingly give; love, acceptance, understanding, comfort, and joy. In the last two years, I have gone from four dogs to one, due to Cancer and Congestive Heart Failure, and I must admit that their absence has affected me deeply. I miss them so so so much!! I'm one of those people that celebrated their dog's birthdays and bought them copious presents for Christmas. While my friends were pulling out their family pics, I was always pulling out my dog pics. I share this same sentiment towards birds, rabbits, and cats; all of which I had growing up. Being surrounded by animals as a child was a great experience. It even prompted me to volunteer at the ASPCA for almost a year. As I hope you can tell, I will not only provide what your pet needs to survive, but I will also provide him/her with special attention and love. I look forward to meeting with both you and your pet! Until then, take care! I will be able to fulfill any house/pet sitting duties without any issues, as I am able to balance my obligations responsibly and with respect to myself and those that hire me. While pet/house sitting, I will abide the rules given to me. This could include when they play, where they sleep, any medications needed, when to eat, etc.
“I cannot say enough positive things about Mary Grace! She house sat/pet sat our cat Luna and was fantastic. She provided great updates and photos and was attentive to all details house/pet related. She left our place cleaner than when she came and was very flexible when we had a slight schedule change. We’ll definitely be using her again!”

“Always a pleasure and peace of mind having Emily care for my kitties while I was away. I appreciate all the photos and the follow up notes she provides after every visit! I will be using Emily for all my trips away from home. 😊”

“I feel totally comfortable having our cat Sunny board with Glenn and Terrill. Things are done exactly as requested. I got daily pics and updates. I will definitely book with them again!”

About: I have over 10 years of pet care experience! I am a responsible pet owner of (3) small dogs. I do have basic training experience and have crate trained all three of my dogs successfully (after many sleepless nights of course). I work from home full-time so I am always at home and available for drop ins, doggy day care, or boarding! My house has a fenced in yard and all three of my dogs are up to date on vaccinations, including Bordetella. I also walk our dogs daily (weather permitting) so you can ensure your little one will get exercise, if they would like it that is! I have also fostered rescue dogs previously through Paws 4 a Cause in Lexington. I am an avid animal lover and will treat your dog as one of my own. Please note: due to my dogs being smaller (all under 25 pounds) I wont be able to accept dogs larger than 30-40 pounds. My dogs are tough and love to play, but we want to avoid any play injuries! I work from home full-time so I will be available throughout the day for your pet. I am able to let your pet out, or drop by and check on your pets many times throughout the day. Even when my schedule is busy I still usually have time to step away for pet care! I care for the pets in my home by keeping a watchful eye over them. They have access to our backyard and I ensure to step out and check on them often. I know what foods are safe for dogs and what foods are dangerous. My dogs are on different medications (for allergies), so I am well versed on giving oral medications if needed as well. If I am checking on your pet(s), or staying over at your place, you can rest assured that I am taking care of your pet(s) as if they were my own!
About: Spent whole life with dogs and cats. Am owner of service dog and work consistently with him daily; therefore, I can participate in any training your pet may be involved in. I am confident with all pets of all ages and happy to take care of your dogs and cats. I am certified cat and dog CPR/First Aid. I am EKU student on summer break so my current schedule is wide open. I plan to continue offering pet care services when school starts up again in the Fall. I have a large, well-fenced yard for your dog to play in, with a few nice shade trees as well. Love taking dogs for walks and our neighborhood is perfect for walking dogs. Dogs can also come inside to enjoy AC if it’s too hot outside. About: With your pets permission, they will be loved on. Pets in my care will be treated like family. I have been around pets of all kinds my whole life and have pet sat for over 5 years! The only days of the week where I’m out for more than 3 hours is Tuesdays and Thursdays. I am at home otherwise, the more time I have with your pet, the better! I do have two cats, so they will likely be separated from your pets in a boarding situation, but I live next to a dog park so it is easily accessible for pups. I have many cat toys and treat varieties as well.
About: I was born into an animal-loving family and I have continued to instill this love for animals in my own children. I have had a menagerie of animals all of my life. At the young age of 12, I started walking the neighbors' dogs and going to their houses when they were out of town to feed, water, and walk their pets. In college, I worked part-time in several different veterinary clinics. I am still very well connected to the veterinary world so if I am unsure of something involving my pets, I am able to reach out to get an answer pretty quickly. Over my lifetime of 40 yrs. I have had at least 20 dogs, 10 cats, several rabbits, horses, chinchillas, guinea pigs, hamsters, and a few reptiles (but no snakes). In my full-time job, I have a hybrid work schedule. Some days I am in the office and some days I work from home. This allows some flexibility when caring for fur babies. My family also helps care for our "animal guests". It is a group effort! I have a 1/2 acre that is fenced. I have 3 dogs- a Newfoundland, Black Lab, and a Beagle. All of my dogs are rescues. I know that I rescued them but as cheesy as it sounds, most days I feel like they rescued me. Each of them has their own personality, which I love. My dogs are usually always by my side when I am home. My dogs love to jump on the bed or couch and get snuggles. I also have 3 cats. All of them found us. They were all dumped on us and of course, I couldn't turn them away. :) I would treat your animals the same way I treat mine- with love and snuggles.

About: I’ve owned dogs and cats since I was a kid my family loves animals. I dog sit for family friends and have taken care of animals as veterinarian tech. I’m currently a student at UK and take a mix of online and short in person classes. My schedule is pretty relaxed as I don’t have classes everyday of the week. When I do have class I’m home a lot between classes and have time to check on animals every 2 hours. I live near campus so I can take your pet on walks around campus or to the park. I live in a pet free and smoke free apartment and can easily crate your pet if needed.

Currently I have open availability on weekends as well as morning and night availability throughout the week. Caring for pets is a big responsibility and I take pride in knowing animals will be safe with me. At the beginning of booking with me I would set up a meet and greet to make sure your pets are comfortable with me. After doing so, we would begin services. During services I will make sure to closely monitor your pets, keep them leashed while not in a fenced in area, keep away from road ways and other - potentially dangerous animals. I would also ensure timely medication, feeding, and watering schedules.

I have two labs and two cats of my own, including a rescue we welcomed into our home, so I understand how important trust, routine, and a calm environment are for pets. I successfully introduced all of our animals and helped them learn to coexist comfortably, which gave me valuable experience with animal behavior, slow introductions, and reading body language. I’m comfortable caring for both energetic and anxious pets, and I take pride in making animals feel safe, loved, and relaxed while their owners are away. I also genuinely enjoy the little things that make a difference — keeping spaces clean, deep-cleaning litter boxes, sticking to routines, and giving pets individualized attention based on their needs and personalities. 🐾 Pet care is already a huge part of my daily life, so caring for other animals fits naturally into my routine. Between my two labs and two cats, I’m used to managing feeding schedules, walks, playtime, cleaning, and making sure each pet gets individual attention and affection every day. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals, so pet care never feels like a chore to me — it’s something that brings me peace and happiness. I’m someone who pays attention to the little details, whether that’s noticing changes in behavior, keeping litter boxes and living spaces clean, or helping pets feel comfortable and safe in their own environment. My schedule allows me to be dependable, communicative, and consistent with the care I provide, which I know is important when someone is trusting me with a beloved pet.
“Kinna has done a few walks with Chester and she has been great with him! I'm very happy that she took the time to read Chester's profile and knew about his quirks before his first walk. Thank you Kinna for going the extra mile for Chester, you are very appreciated! :)”

“Very thorough and on top of things, even with how scatterbrained I am. Tater was a big fan of her immediately! My pup is reactive, an amputee and is very strong headed and I’m kind of a “helicopter mom” so I’m glad to have found someone that makes me feel at ease when I can’t make it home to walk her.”

“Allie was amazing to have with our animals while we were away! She came to meet them beforehand and was extremely organized and flexible. Allie provided updates throughout and was extremely helpful! Hoping we can book her again!!!”

“Emily has been walking our dog 3 times a week for a while now. She is reliable, and she's great about communicating any changes in her schedule as well as adjusting to changes in our schedule.”

About: I have always had dogs and cats in my life. I have cared for senior animals when it got more difficult and puppies that needed round-the-clock care. I’ve also been trusted by family, neighbors, and friends to care for their homes and pets while they were away. I’m a recent college grad and have not yet found employment, so my schedule is wide open! I will be available Monday through Sunday at all hours. I do not offer boarding in my home, however I can supervise multiple dogs at once, walk dogs, follow specific feeding instructions, and respect the boundaries of your cat. I can also work with security systems and keep your home safe and neat.
About: For over 15 years, I have been the go to person for pet care among friends, family, and neighbors and it is something I genuinely love doing. From quick drop ins to let a pup out for a bathroom break to full time care for two weeks while an owner was away, I have handled it all. I am trusted to feed, walk, play with, and comfort dogs of all sizes and personalities. What started as a favor has grown into something I take real pride in. Whether it is a laid back older dog or a playful puppy, I treat every pet like they are my own. I can’t wait to meet your dog or cat! I will be available most days and times. Please contact me to see if I am available and I will see if I can get your needs taken care of! I can keep your pet safe with any means necessary. Please tell me specifics about your animal’s habits and rules for him or her so I can appropriately accommodate.
About: Greetings, valued customers, my name is Jordan. I appreciate you viewing my profile to get to know me a little better. I kindly ask that you read my profile in ENTIRETY so you have a better understanding to determine if we are a great fit and for detailed scheduling information down below. I look forward to hearing from you and I'm delighted to be here for all your animal care needs. I have cared for fish, dogs, cats, parrots and other birds, bearded dragons, snakes, chickens, goats, bunnies, doves, mini horses, pigs, other farm animals, and other reptiles, amphibians and exotic animals. I have been offering animal care services for eight years, and I completely love and enjoy doing it. The love that animals have for humans is an incredible thing to experience. Caring for animals makes my life so much more meaningful, and I love doing it for people who need my services. Also, knowing that people need my animal care services, fulfills my passion for helping others in life. I love and enjoy being of service to others, and it makes me so happy to be able to do so. I'm currently working as an RBT (Registered Behavioral Technician) (I work with people with autism and help them better adapt to everyday life), and I work with Rover as a petsitter as well. If you contact me for a lenghty petsit, I am able to ask off work with no complications (with more than a 2 week notice), however if you are in need of a speedy petsit, I can work with your schedule (but I may have to work a few hours during the day on week days, with no complications). My Rover calender will reflect my availability will continually be updated. Please check the calender before reaching out. Thank you for your understanding. I prefer going to a client's house to take care of their animals in a familiar environment, along with a detailed list of instructions of do's and dont's for their pet. Instructions on animal care are to ensure the animal's safety when they are with me, without me needing to unnecessarily contact and bother the owner while they are away. Also, a general list of outdoor activities I can do with the pet is welcome. For example, if I can take the pet hiking, to the park, for walks, etc. Also, does your pet get along with other animals, children, or people well, and does your pet get car sick? These variables are essential information for me to know to ensure the best care while you are away. My passion is pets, and I want to ensure your pets are comfortable and safe with me, so I highly encourage more than enough information on caring for your babies. Please note if your location is 40 miles, plus, in distance from my Rover given location, I charge for milage, for the traveling/distance in the initial reservation contact message for meet and greets. I will send you a new quote to your initial request for these changes in price due to milage charges. Thank you for understanding this policy.
About: I've taken care of/had the pleasure of sharing my time with the following: dogs, cats, farm animals (horses, cows, chickens, turkeys), snakes, tarantulas and turtles. I've also cared for ill pets/pets with very specific daily routines. My wife and I currently have two loving, energetic dogs (2, 7) and three clingy cats (11, 11, 10). I'm currently very flexible with scheduling as I mostly do contract and-or gig work online. I'm available every day of the week, and generally any time requested. I'll ask questions to determine the level/frequency/type of care your pet requires, and will ask that you're specific in your requests. A meet and greet will be required, barring emergency circumstances.

“Elena is terrific and the experience keeps getting better each time she watches our pupper. This time our pup didn't even want to leave! If that's not a sign of proper sitter, I don't know what is. Thanks again Elena!”

“We went out of town for a week leaving our one year old Bulldog with Nef. He came to meet our dog and even accommodated transportation. My dog is very picky on who she likes however it was love from first sight. This was the first time we had to board our dog and now we have our go to person for life. Thanks Nef for the outstanding service!”

“We could tell our pup was in good hands with Kelsey. She sent me detailed updates daily and pictures too. Our dog is not the best eater and she worked with her to be sure she ate. She also took our pup for walks and played with her. We really appreciate her taking such good care of our pup while we were away!”

“Communication and understanding and ability to accommodate on the fly was outstanding. Nova came back to me happy and relaxed. Would definitely recommend Brian to anyone and will definitely rebook.”
“Nathan is great! He kelp my Pitt Krystee for seven days. Each day he sent videos and pictures of how she was doing! He treated Krystee as if she was his own! I highly recommend Nathan for pet sitting, and will use Nathan again next month when I go out of town again! Thank you Nathan for taking such good care of Krystee!!!”
