I enjoy walks, playtime, cuddles, and making sure pets feel safe and happy while their owners are away. About: What sets us apart is the genuine care and experience we bring to every dog we welcome into our home. My husband and I both grew up with dogs, and before having our daughter, we fostered dogs, which gave us experience with a wide range of personalities, temperaments, and needs. We currently have a friendly 2-year-old lab mix, so we’re very familiar with maintaining routines, exercise needs, and positive reinforcement. One of our biggest strengths is working with anxious or shy dogs—we’re patient, attentive, and take the time to build trust at each dog’s pace so they feel safe and comfortable. We treat every dog like part of our family and strive to create a calm, loving environment where they can relax and be themselves. Pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine since I work from home Monday–Friday. Your dog will have consistent companionship throughout the day and won’t be left alone for long periods. During the day, dogs are free to relax, play, and interact with our friendly 2-year-old lab mix. We also incorporate daily walks and outdoor playtime (weather permitting), along with plenty of attention, affection, and structured routine. Because I’m home, I’m able to closely monitor each dog’s needs and adjust care to ensure they feel comfortable, engaged, and right at home. Then when my husband and daughter are not in work or school they will help care for your dogs and play with them. In our home, we strive to create a safe, comfortable, and loving environment for every dog in our care. We have a fully fenced yard where dogs can play, explore, and get plenty of exercise in a secure space. Inside, dogs are treated like part of the family—free to relax, play, and enjoy a calm, structured routine. We can accommodate crate training if your dog is used to it or needs a safe space while we’re briefly away from home. We pay close attention to each dog’s individual needs, whether that’s extra playtime, a quieter environment, or a consistent routine, so they feel secure and at home during their stay.

About: Hi! My name is Claire, and I’m someone who has always had dogs growing up — they’ve been a huge part of my life. Now that I’m in school, I really miss having a dog of my own, but I know I don’t currently have the time to fully raise one. That’s actually what drew me to Rover: I get to spend time caring for and loving dogs while also helping owners in my community feel confident their pets are in good hands. I genuinely love dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities, and I take caring for them seriously. About: I’ve grown-up around animals my entire life; whether on the farm I grew up on, or taking care of former housemates pets; I’ve always had a strong connection to, and a deep love for animals. While I am currently unable to host/pet sit at my current residence, I am always available to come and do so at the home you and your pets share! My schedule currently has open availability; which means I can, most likely, accommodate your schedule needs; whether that means Days, Nights, Weekdays or Weekends- I’m ready and available! I love to go on long walks; either around the neighborhood or to the local dog park, but have no problem just kicking it at home spending the time giving them all the attention/affection they require. About: I grew up with five cats and one dog, and have helped pet sit friends’ dogs. I am very comfortable playing, feeding, going on walks, cleaning litter boxes, etc. I now have my own tripod cat as well, so I have also learned a lot about caring for pets with different needs! I will be working part time, and not taking classes this summer semester. So I will have plenty of time to stop by throughout the week. I make sure pets are safe, comfortable, and stick to their usual routine. I am very careful on checking that doors, gates, and leashes are secure. Currently I have two Great Pyrenees and one cat of great personaity. They have been my guides in the wonderful world of clicker training. Ghost, my rescue dog, has given me a lot of experience with anxious, sensitive dogs that need a little more time and care. Where as Nanuk has shown me how to handle dogs with a ton of drive and intelligence. And how to harness that despite physical limitations. And my cat... well, he comes running whenever I get the treat bag and clicker and has his own variation on all the dogs tricks. ;) I look forward to meeting your pets and seeing what I can learn from them! I am currently working part time and happy to work with you on scheduling. My husband is also retired which allows me a lot of flexibility for being away from home I do not care for client pets in my home. About: I've pet sit for my neighbors when they go out of town. I treat their pets as if there my own. I ask numerous questions about the pet in question in order to properly care for the pet.
