“Hailey was very quick to respond and very accommodating for my dogs to board with her over the weekend. She already had crates at her home for my dogs, which made the process a lot easier not having to pack so much. I even reached out to her the afternoon I was supposed to pick them up and asked if she could keep them till the next morning instead, and without hesitation she changed my booking for my convenience. Very thankful for her flexibility and taking care of my boys.”

“I had always used boarding kennels for my dogs and I am so, so glad I found Patricia on Rover instead! They were much happier and comfortable being in a home environment vs a loud crowded facility. Patricia is an absolute sweetheart who treated my babies like her own. I will continue to have her babysit from here on out!”

Kim’s house is a relaxing clean atmosphere for the dogs to play and can go outside when they need to. Love how she has gated the front door so no little one escapes. She sent photos and texts showing me he is content. Hopefully Kim will be available again when we go on a trip.”

“Deana was wonderful. Louie liked Deana and family so much he hesitated when it was time to come home. lol! Deana gave updates, pictures, and videos of Louie throughout his stay and treated him like he was part of the family. Louie was sick prior to his stay and they closely monitored his health.”

About: I’m a lifelong animal lover who’s been caring for cats since I was three years old, when I got my first cat, Fluffy. I currently share my home with five rescued cats, including two with special needs—one with FIV and another with neurological challenges—which has given me extensive hands-on experience with medical care, behavior monitoring, and daily medications. I also care for a managed colony of twenty cats on my property that I inherited when I bought my home, so I’m very comfortable with a wide range of feline personalities and needs. I have a particular affinity for senior and special-needs cats, including those with anxiety, and I approach their care with patience, consistency, and respect—on their terms, of course.

“There's just no one better than Brooke! She's the only human being besides me that my cats will actually let her pet them. Usually I get photos of them under the bed. But not this time! I've already referred her to a friend. Thank you so much Brooke! See you next time.”

“Shelby was an excellent sitter and was able to provide photos of our cat Patsy that showed her exited for her visit. She took care of our cat while we were gone and couldn't be more thankful!”

About: I have owned cats my whole life, I love them very much! I have cared for kittens and older cats. I care for your cat as my own! I pay attention to details and I notice things out of the ordinary. I do what it takes to keep your cat safe! I love to play with cats, too.

About: My first pet was my cat, Roxy and she was my first true love. We adopted her when I was in the third grade, and as an only child who had been begging my parents for a pet, Roxy quickly became my BFF. I also learned quickly that we are just humans living in the cat’s world. And it made me love her and cats even more. When it comes to sitting cats, I understand the importance of letting your cat be itself. I take the time to learn your cat’s personality and tailor my approach to your cat. If your cat doesn’t like attention and only needs me to refresh its food bowl, I can do it. If your cat is more like a dog and wants attention and pets, I can do that too. I relish the opportunity to meet with you and your fur baby (or plural!) and come up with a sitting plan that is tailored to your cat and your home while you are away!

“Ashley was awesome. I would definitely recommend her and book her again! She was super attentive and caring to our dog while we were away. She sent pics and took our dog for a walk everyday. Super kind and responsive. No issues at all. 😊”

“OK where to start...Tara did a quick meet and greet before the weekend. We have never left our furr-babies with people we didn't know, but right away I felt like she already knew us. She came recommended to us at a last minute. What a wonderful choice! She was punctual stay the whole time slot, took pics. I could tell be the pics my furr-babies were in good hands. Highly recommend her to take care of your furr-babies while away. Thanks so much...definitely on the top of our list.”

“Angela was a wonderful pet sitter. She took great care of my senior cat who needs medication. She was very communicative and friendly, very easy to talk with and a sweet person. Highly recommend.”

“Grace did a wonderful job! She was patient with my crank old boy. She came and took wonderful care of cosmo even when he wasnt the friendliest with her the firsr couple days. She remained calm and continued working with him until he fully warmed up to her. Grace continued to give me updates on how he was doing everyday and even noticed when he was acting a little different due to him having a mild reaction/ itching a lot due to treats that were provided and went out of her way to get new ones for him. I could not have asked for a better sitter to pop in on my boy.”

“Missy was so wonderful with my puppy Corbin! I had zero concerns leaving him in her hands. She was very communicative, followed directions, was respectful of my home, and was detailed in her updates. The photos she included in her updates were the highlight of my day! I could tell she really enjoyed her time with him and he was having fun and felt safe with her. Thank you so much, Missy!!!”

“This was our first time using Mattie to sit our 3 cats and it was the best experience! Mattie was extremely thorough with updates and went above and beyond with taking care of them. I couldn’t have asked for a better person to watch our kitties while we were away!!”

“Hailey came to check on our sweet Hunter for 4 days and did a great job! Water bowl was filled, litter was cleaned, and Hunter seemed to be in good spirits! Really enjoyed the photos and videos we received!”

About: I have been petsitting since the age of 10, and caring for my own pets since the age of 13. Besides loving on my two resident cats, one of whom takes daily medication and has special medical needs, I have fostered over 40 cats and kittens for the Kenton County Animal Shelter since 2023. I have given many baths, syringe feedings, medication in pill, liquid, and topical forms, and lots of love to every cat I have gotten to care for. I love a cat with a big personality and have fostered medically complex cats and near-feral cats and kittens in need of socialization and space. Gaining an animal's trust is a gift, and I will be happy to meet your cats wherever they are at. If you are looking for a pet sitter who will be punctual, communicative, and extremely attentive to your kitties, I am the right sitter for you! You can count on me to clean litter boxes, administer medication, ensure food and water are available as instructed, and update you with photos and information about how your cats are doing every time I drop in.

“Alexis was great! The cats were comfortable with her and she was very communicative. There was a plumbing disaster that came up unexpectedly and she notified me immediately + waited around to let maintenance in.”

“Tiffany made sure our 4 cats were taken care of and gave us peace of mind while we were on an 8 day cruise. We will definitely be reaching out to her again the next time we need a pet sitter!”

“Mariah took exceptional care of our two cats while we were away. She was originally scheduled to take special care for Sancho, but when Rio unexpectedly needed medication and extra attention as well, she was incredibly flexible and happily adapted to his new care routine. Both cats received their medications exactly as instructed, including insulin injections and oral medications. Mariah was very attentive, careful, and compassionate throughout every visit. We especially appreciated the detailed visit summaries and photos she sent each day. She kept us informed and reassured that our boys were doing well. Knowing our cats were in such capable and caring hands gave us true peace of mind during our trip. We wouldn’t hesitate to book Mariah again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, knowledgeable, and compassionate pet sitter.”

“Kelsey was the absolute sweetest. She came prior to my trip to meet my two cats so she could learn a little about them and my apartment before hand! Kelsey watched them over a holiday weekend where I assumed there would be lots of commotion and fireworks in our area and she was very communicative in reassuring me that the cats were safe. She sent me photos of the cats every night and they looked so so happy! In addition to all of these amazing things, we came home to our apartment fully cleaned even tho we told her no cleaning was necessary. Kelsey really helped to alleviate the anxiety of traveling and leaving your pets at home for me!”

About: I am a stay-at-home mom so I am home most of the time. I can give your doggo all the attention they need. I've taken care of dogs really for as long as I can remember. I have a large fenced in yard that doggies love! I only take one dog at a time or two "sibling" dogs so that everyone can get along and hang out together. I want dogs to feel welcome in my home. I have two cats that are very used to dogs. I have a very large dog kennel to keep your dog safe when I am out and about and at night.

About: I've always have dog in my life, and my passion for dogs will last forever. My friend told me that I don't treat my dogs as dogs but babies. Remember, a genuine love for animals and a commitment to their well-being are at the heart of any successful pet care experience! I'm currently full time house wife with 2 dogs, no kids. My daily routines are my dogs, so I have a lot of time to watch yours too! We walk 4 times a day, and enjoy homemade dog treat and food. I don't have yard so I walk dogs instead (3-4 times a day), and I always clean them right after walking so they are allowed on furniture. Remember, a walk a day keep vet away. I do have crates if needed.
“My puppy enjoyed the day playing with Brandon and his friendly pets. Brandon was reliable, responsive, worked well with my puppy’s energy level, and sent me a lot of updates during the day. We will be back.”

“Ryan was wonderful with my two dachshunds. Boarded them during the day while we had workers installing new carpet. Sent pics and videos so I had no worries. They came home tired and happy. Would hire Ryan again.”

“Angel is great! It was our first experience leaving our Zoey with a sitter. Angel kept in contact with us during the day and even sent pics. We brought Zoey back for a second stay 2 days later while we were on vacation so we could do our thing and we would be at ease knowing Zoey was in good hands. We would definitely use Angel again if needed.”

About: I currently work at a doggy daycare/boarding business in NKY, I’ve learned a lot from working there. My love for dogs has grown more than I could imagine. I’ve had many pets growing up and I now have two of my own. I have two dachshunds named Harmony and Hazel. My favorite pet I’ve ever owned was my chinchilla! Her name was Bella. A home is not the same without a pet. I currently work a part time job and know my schedule two weeks at a time. I also have a business and work from home for that. I know my schedule usually months ahead of time. With that being said, my schedule is flexible! I can work mornings, mid day and evenings. I have a large back yard and a cute neighborhood that I walk my two dogs around. I live close to a few parks. I also have a full finished basement so if you need your pet to be crated or would like for them have a large space to themselves I have plenty of room.
“This was our first time using Rover and we had a great experience! We are on vacation visiting the Ark Encounter. Loved all the pictures, the updates on what he did and knowing he got lots of love from the family was really nice. Would highly recommend them to anyone, they took extra special care of our pup!”

“Thank you so much Meghan for taking our little 4 legged ones at such short notice. Megan was awesome, warm and friendly. I recommend her to anyone who would be needing the care that she provides.”

About: We’ve had animals for as long as I can remember. Growing up on a farm in southern KY I am used to caring for a variety of animals including dogs, cats, birds, miniature pigs, guinea pigs, rabbits, hamsters, etc! Our animals have always been apart of our family and go where we go! Our animals are allowed on the furniture, sleep in our bed, and love to visit our parents house! I am a stay at home mom so adding a pet into our daily routine is actually pretty easy! We’re used to care for our own dog! We just have them join whatever we’re doing which makes it easier. I have two Littles who love to play outside and take them walks so I usually just have our pups tag along! Our pups routine is usually out to pee in the morning, a walk after her breakfast, lots of outdoor play or sunbathe time while me and my two kiddos play our back, another walk once the kids take their naps, more play time with the kids, another walk after dinner, then a pee break before we get into bed for the night! I’m home all day as a stay at home mom and my husband is fully remote so our pup is used to having somewhere there for whatever she needs or when we do go out and about if we’re able to we take her! Our dog frequents our parents house for even more cuddles and play! Animals are always part of the family on our end.

“Melissa clearly LOVES dogs. Gracie loved her immediately and was happy to go in the car with her to the park for a walk. Gracie didn't last the entire hour and Melissa didn't pressure Gracie to walk farther than she wanted to. She read Gracie's body language and responded appropriately.”

“Hailey was prompt in responding and answered all my questions, putting me at ease that my dog would be cared for. She provided updates and photos during care. Thank you!”

“Walked my dog last minute on NYE. I frankensteined some directions to get in our building and walk the dog and Alexis did a fantastic job and was super communicative. Would recommend again!”

About: I’ve always grown up with pets around, specifically dogs. Through my lifetime I’ve taken care of dogs with separation anxiety, older dogs, and very active dogs too. I believe that every dog has a special personality and they all deserve personalized care. So I will take in special care request that you know of, and also observe the dog so I care and play with it in the best way! I’m excited to work with you and your furry friends :) I have a pretty open schedule and availability! I can board on a Saturday night to Sunday morning, but I’m not available Sunday nights to Monday morning! I have a dog park in my apartment and share a dog with my sister so your furry friend will have some company. I also have some complement toys, treats, and a spare cage if needed!
About: I walk the dogs at the animal shelter when I have extra time. I have done this on and off for about 3 years when I can. I work part time night shift and I’m in school 3 or 4 mornings a week, but I often have time in the afternoons and weekends. I have grown up with dogs and cats. I have 3 cats and 1 large dog at home and have always loved the company of animals.

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I volunteered with an animal rescue for about 6 years, where I fostered dogs, cats, puppies, kittens, and even pregnant moms and their babies. That experience taught me how to care for pets with different personalities, ages, and medical needs while providing them with a safe, loving environment. I currently have a cat who is truly my baby, and I regularly care for my parents’ two dogs, cat, and lizards since they live nearby. Growing up, I was surrounded by animals, including dogs, cats, hamsters, and goats, so I’m comfortable caring for a variety of pets. Whether your pet needs walks, playtime, cuddles, medication, or just someone patient and dependable while you’re away, I’ll treat them with the same love and attention I give my own. I have a flexible schedule, which allows me to provide reliable care throughout the week. I’m happy to stop by for drop-in visits, walks, feeding, potty breaks, playtime, and medication if needed. I’m willing to travel up to 30 minutes to care for your pets and will always make sure they receive plenty of attention and love while you’re away. I prefer caring for pets in their own home because it helps them stay comfortable and maintain their normal routine. I understand how important trust is when someone is caring for your pets and entering your home, so I’ll treat both with the utmost respect. If needed, I can also care for a cat or dog in my home, which has an open yard and a calm, pet-friendly environment. My goal is to make sure every pet feels safe, loved, and well cared for until you’re back.

About: I started babysitting at around 13, from then on through high school and into college, I found a love for caring for both animals and children. As I got older I began routinely house/pet sitting for my aunt who had 4 cats and my grandma who had 3 dogs. Most recently I house sat for a MSgt in Abilene Texas who had 2 cats and 2 dogs for a little over a week. Being recently separated from the Air Force, my schedule is flexible as I am seeking to ease back into work- while also maintaining flexibility, as I intend on being a full time student in the fall. If secured prior to July 1, I intend on curating my schedule to long term clients. I have an open schedule for now- but again fully intend on tending to future clients needs. I treat every pet as my own. that means with respect, patience, guidance as needed, and above all else - love and protection. I will tend to everyday tasks of living with the best quality of life in mind for each fur baby in my care.
About: I’ve had the privilege of growing up with dogs since the age of 10. I’ve never lived in a house without 1-2 dogs. It’s always been a priority of mine to take my dog on at least a 2 mile walk a day if not longer. I have pet sat for families in the past and fostered a puppy in college. Come July I start school T,TH,F from roughly 9-4:30. Otherwise I will be working my PRN job whenever they are in need and I’m available. Over the past 12-14 years I’ve grown up with dogs living in my household. I currently have one medium sized dog, Nala, whom I recused about 5 years ago. She’s a velcro dog and the sweetest they come. She was 5 months old when we adopted her and it’s always been a priority to enforce socialization from day one. When she was almost the age of 2 we bought a German Shepard, Bo, at 8weeks old who she has grown up and lived with over the past 4 years. Regardless of who they are around we make sure to properly introduce everyone who is welcomed into their/our space. After moving to Lexington Nala moved with me as Bo stayed back home. I have a fenced in backyard with plenty of space to run and play. Nala likes to keep to herself most of the time, but highly enjoys walks, treats, and toys.
