About: I’ve taken care of animals since I was a little girl and I’ve always loved it! I’ve always had dogs(puppies-senior) I’ve had rabbits and cats and a horse too I’m a full time stay at home mom, so I have plenty of time to have the animals outside to play and use the bathroom. I have two dogs myself, they get fed every morning and treats throughout the day (my kids love giving treats) they always have food and water available My dogs roam free since they know the property, but my whole back yard is fenced in. When I leave my house, my dogs stay inside and roam the house freely

“I had captured a stray cat and then found out she had 3 kittens. We were planning to go on vacation in October, but I desperately needed to find someone who could take care of this family. Not an easy task. I discovered Ariel through Rover. She agreed to take them. Mama kitty was still quite wild and had not been outdoors since I captured her. She was able to stay in the large dog kennel/cage in which we brought her. She stayed outside on Ariels covered porch which was perfect for her and gave her a chance to finally wean off the kittens, which was long overdue! Kittens stayed together inside her house. All of the cats were terrified at first. One kitten and Mama kitty remained fearful and would not let Ariel pet them or pick them up, but I'm happy to report this was temporary. The day we brought them home, the kittens all relaxed and began purring loudly. I was afraid that since we were gone almost 3 weeks they would all revert back being unsocialized, but that was not the case. Even wild Mama who still won't let me pet her, is relaxed and plays sometimes with kittens! I would recommend Ariel as a sitter and I am grateful she helped us be able to go on vacation.”

I currently have a female American bully but in the past I’ve had English mastiffs, pit bulls, and a border collie. I enjoy high energy dogs that love to run and play as well as older dogs that just want to play around and be loved on. I’m currently on summer break. I am an athlete at Eastern Kentucky University and have required practices every day but I’m gone no longer than 3 hours per day. About: I have over 10 years of pet care experience! I am a responsible pet owner of (3) small dogs. I do have basic training experience and have crate trained all three of my dogs successfully (after many sleepless nights of course). I work from home full-time so I am always at home and available for drop ins, doggy day care, or boarding! My house has a fenced in yard and all three of my dogs are up to date on vaccinations, including Bordetella. I also walk our dogs daily (weather permitting) so you can ensure your little one will get exercise, if they would like it that is! I have also fostered rescue dogs previously through Paws 4 a Cause in Lexington. I am an avid animal lover and will treat your dog as one of my own. Please note: due to my dogs being smaller (all under 25 pounds) I wont be able to accept dogs larger than 30-40 pounds. My dogs are tough and love to play, but we want to avoid any play injuries! I work from home full-time so I will be available throughout the day for your pet. I am able to let your pet out, or drop by and check on your pets many times throughout the day. Even when my schedule is busy I still usually have time to step away for pet care! I care for the pets in my home by keeping a watchful eye over them. They have access to our backyard and I ensure to step out and check on them often. I know what foods are safe for dogs and what foods are dangerous. My dogs are on different medications (for allergies), so I am well versed on giving oral medications if needed as well. If I am checking on your pet(s), or staying over at your place, you can rest assured that I am taking care of your pet(s) as if they were my own!

About: I’ve taken care of dogs for ten years. Four of these years in veterinary medicine. I am CPR certified and have experience bathing, grooming, pet sitting, bottle feeding, medicating, and overall caring and loving and playing with animals. I work a full time job in Richmond Kentucky at an emergency clinic! I would have to schedule pick ups and drop offs but that’s the biggest part. Your dog MUST be cat friendly. If they are not, I cannot accommodate as I have four and will not risk their well-being. I don’t have a fenced in yard, so I would have to leash walk but we are on two acres. I do have a dog park about 5 minutes from my home so I could transport there and back and that park IS fenced in. I am able to feed three times a day if needed and 2-3 potty breaks! Playtime is also important so I dedicate about 10-15 minutes twice a day (morning and night) for play. We have plenty of toys as well. For cats I have a separate room of the house they can call their own so I can only accommodate one kitty at a time as I have 4 cats myself.
About: I have 3 dogs of my own and have cared for many! For long periods or short periods, I know how hard it is to trust someone to watch your pups. My house is completely dog proof at this point. They will definitely be in good hands! I started rover because as a pet parent, the thought of finding someone to trust with my dog makes me so nervous. My house is doggy proof, no one is eating anything they shouldn’t on my watch! Everything that a dog could get into is put up. I have a pool opened in the summer with stairs that the dogs can go into, also separately fenced for the pups that can’t swim. Keeping a clean and sanitized house is important to me for my dogs and your dogs health. My couch covers are washed weekly and my floors and my dog’s crates are cleaned with kennel sol which kills most dog related illnesses. My dogs are vaccinated. You are more than welcome inside my house to see the set up!

I’ve always had dogs(puppies-senior) I’ve had rabbits and cats and a horse too I’m a full time stay at home mom, so I have plenty of time to have the animals outside to play and use the bathroom. About: With your pets permission, they will be loved on. Pets in my care will be treated like family. I have been around pets of all kinds my whole life and have pet sat for over 5 years! The only days of the week where I’m out for more than 3 hours is Tuesdays and Thursdays. I am at home otherwise, the more time I have with your pet, the better! I do have two cats, so they will likely be separated from your pets in a boarding situation, but I live next to a dog park so it is easily accessible for pups. I have many cat toys and treat varieties as well.
