When my regular sitter was unexpectedly unavailable, I was nervous about leaving my fur baby with someone new, especially since I was traveling internationally for 10 days. My cat who usually allows you to see her is cuddly with Brittney, my generally invisible cat comes out to see Brittney. Brittney has sat several times now for me and my only hesitation in giving her the best recommendation is that she might be completely booked up when I want to request her again. I can tell my cats have done well when I am gone and Brittney is sitting because they are calmer and much less anxious when I return. Communication is prompt and booking is easy. About: I have taken care of dogs my whole life including small to large dogs. I am not a professional trainer but I have experience in training my own fur babies. My work is flexible where I can drop in for visits, take them out walking or just spend time playing with them. I can also board them, so that you can have a stress free vacation. They will have a fenced yard to play in and two buddies to play with. I will send lots of pictures and updates. To ensure safety, please have all vaccinations up to date and send me a copy, if possible. I also like to schedule a meet and greet prior to booking to ensure both parties are comfortable with the booking. It will also be an opportunity to address any concerns. I work full time but have the flexibility to work remotely. If your fur baby needs someone to be home all the time, I can accommodate that. I have a fenced yard. In our house, our pups are like family and yours will be welcomed with open arms. In addition to my two, I also foster for The KY Humane Society which has given me plenty of experience with puppies, senior dogs, giving meds and tending to your pups every need. Your dog will be cared for like one of our own! I work from home so your pup will very rarely be alone. If your dog has separation anxiety, then I am the perfect sitter for you! Our current feeding schedule is 8:00 and 6, so please let me know if your pup needs a different schedule. Unfortunately, I am not able to accommodate free feeding, so your pup will be on a feeding schedule while they are in my care. I require meet and greets for any new clients. I want to meet you and your pup(s) and I want you to meet mine. Even if you have the friendliest dog, not all dogs will vibe, so this step is important. **Meet and greets can be waived for dogs under 6 months but am happy to have one if that is your preference. We have a large, fenced in back yard as well as live in a safe, quiet, dog-friendly neighborhood. In our house, there is no furniture off limits. Your pups will be welcome to sleep on the bed, on the couch, or on the floor. If you prefer your dog crated at night, we can do that too! My house is set up to host dogs in the safest way possible. This includes multiple safety gates for feeding times or some alone time for your pup to chew on bones or toys. I will accompany your dog(s) on any potty breaks outside that include my dogs. My dogs are also crated when I leave to ensure everyone's safety. Both of my girls are vaccinated to boarding standards and I would prefer yours be too! This helps to keep all our pups safe! **I am happy to provide their vaccination records upon request. If you have additional concerns, please let me know and we can discuss.

“I was happy with Scott and Melissa taking care of my kiddos. They were a new sitter since my previous one had to move. Always nervous finding a new one but they were very welcoming and Toshi had friends to play with. I received daily updates with pictures so I could see they were doing well. A nice sized yard to play and they settled in pretty quickly, especially my introvert Calli. I felt my kiddos were safe with them. I’ll be using Scott and Melissa again since they are now my trusted sitter.”
