About: Whether it was my own cat or someone else's, I've taken care of cats which needed oral meds, flea meds, combing, nail trims. I'm currently learning how to give my own cat B-12 injections. I have also given her a bath with one of those "bags" you put them into. ;-) I often held a previous roommate's cat while she gave it fluids. I believe in scooping litter boxes 2x/day unless you're using non-scoopable litter, then just 1x/day. I like to clean out & disinfect litter boxes 1x/week. I provide fresh bowls 1x/day, fresh water & food 2x/day & treats as the owner deems appropriate. ;-) If the cat has a stroller it can be taken out in, I like to do that. I like to use toys or a ball to play with cats. I also give lots of pets & cuddles. We may even take a nap together! :-)

About: I have taken care of dogs my whole life including small to large dogs. I am not a professional trainer but I have experience in training my own fur babies. My work is flexible where I can drop in for visits, take them out walking or just spend time playing with them. I can also board them, so that you can have a stress free vacation. They will have a fenced yard to play in and two buddies to play with. I will send lots of pictures and updates. To ensure safety, please have all vaccinations up to date and send me a copy, if possible. I also like to schedule a meet and greet prior to booking to ensure both parties are comfortable with the booking. It will also be an opportunity to address any concerns. About: I have been dog sitting since I was 16, and because I love animals, I truly enjoy providing loving, reliable, exceptional care for every dog. I work a part time/evening job so I am available to be with your babies for half the day, I am also available after work if needed. About: As a dog owner, I know how challenging it can be to find reliable, quality, trustworthy care, and I promise to be just that! I've had and loved dogs my entire life. In our house, our pups are like family and yours will be welcomed with open arms. In addition to my two, I also foster for The KY Humane Society which has given me plenty of experience with puppies, senior dogs, giving meds and tending to your pups every need. Your dog will be cared for like one of our own! I work from home so your pup will very rarely be alone. If your dog has separation anxiety, then I am the perfect sitter for you! Our current feeding schedule is 8:00 and 6, so please let me know if your pup needs a different schedule. Unfortunately, I am not able to accommodate free feeding, so your pup will be on a feeding schedule while they are in my care. I require meet and greets for any new clients. I want to meet you and your pup(s) and I want you to meet mine. Even if you have the friendliest dog, not all dogs will vibe, so this step is important. **Meet and greets can be waived for dogs under 6 months but am happy to have one if that is your preference. We have a large, fenced in back yard as well as live in a safe, quiet, dog-friendly neighborhood. In our house, there is no furniture off limits. Your pups will be welcome to sleep on the bed, on the couch, or on the floor. If you prefer your dog crated at night, we can do that too! My house is set up to host dogs in the safest way possible. This includes multiple safety gates for feeding times or some alone time for your pup to chew on bones or toys. I will accompany your dog(s) on any potty breaks outside that include my dogs. My dogs are also crated when I leave to ensure everyone's safety. Both of my girls are vaccinated to boarding standards and I would prefer yours be too! This helps to keep all our pups safe! **I am happy to provide their vaccination records upon request. If you have additional concerns, please let me know and we can discuss.

Our trip was long and we were out of the country but she made it seem we were not so far away from our George by messaging and sending pictures which were highlights in the days away. Our flight out of Macedonia was unexpectedly canceled (twice) which meant getting home a day later than expected and Marissa was the calm I needed when I contacted her in a panic. She was helpful and quick with resolution making me truly feel George was welcome in her home. You can tell Marissa is a true lover of animals and enjoys her job. George came home seamlessly which was indicative of him being in a loving home where he felt at ease. Marissa also understood how much I missed him and stayed up late so that I could come directly there and get my pup. That meant the world to me as I know it was late and she had to get up early.
