Besides the cute pictures, Andy sent me a picture that showed Nate feeling relaxed. Frankly, I was glad Nate still wanted to come home! Andy understands dogs, has an appreciation for the variety of normal dog behavior, and really does love dogs. His daughter also really loves dogs. Although I found Andy through Rover, a mutual friend confirmed that he’s a dog lover and would trust him with her dogs. Knowing that we had mutual friends was literally an answer to prayer. About: I have administered injections for allergies and other medicines for aging dogs and have followed strict training schedules for pups in my home such as feeding and breaks. I currently do not have a pet, but when I did I followed a very strict routine of care, taking nutrition and exercise very seriously. I take responsibility very seriously. About: I've had at least four dogs as long as I can remember. As a child, they were my first companions and my second caretakers. Even as I grew into an adult, they were always there to comfort me and to brighten the darkest of days. Dogs hold a very special place in my heart and I am eager to give back what they so willingly give; love, acceptance, understanding, comfort, and joy. In the last two years, I have gone from four dogs to one, due to Cancer and Congestive Heart Failure, and I must admit that their absence has affected me deeply. I miss them so so so much!! I'm one of those people that celebrated their dog's birthdays and bought them copious presents for Christmas. While my friends were pulling out their family pics, I was always pulling out my dog pics. I share this same sentiment towards birds, rabbits, and cats; all of which I had growing up. Being surrounded by animals as a child was a great experience. It even prompted me to volunteer at the ASPCA for almost a year. About: I was born into an animal-loving family and I have continued to instill this love for animals in my own children. I have had a menagerie of animals all of my life. At the young age of 12, I started walking the neighbors' dogs and going to their houses when they were out of town to feed, water, and walk their pets. In college, I worked part-time in several different veterinary clinics. I am still very well connected to the veterinary world so if I am unsure of something involving my pets, I am able to reach out to get an answer pretty quickly. Over my lifetime of 40 yrs. I have had at least 20 dogs, 10 cats, several rabbits, horses, chinchillas, guinea pigs, hamsters, and a few reptiles (but no snakes). In my full-time job, I have a hybrid work schedule. Some days I am in the office and some days I work from home. This allows some flexibility when caring for fur babies. My family also helps care for our "animal guests". It is a group effort! I have a 1/2 acre that is fenced. I have 3 dogs- a Newfoundland, Black Lab, and a Beagle. All of my dogs are rescues. I know that I rescued them but as cheesy as it sounds, most days I feel like they rescued me. Each of them has their own personality, which I love. My dogs are usually always by my side when I am home. My dogs love to jump on the bed or couch and get snuggles. I also have 3 cats. All of them found us. They were all dumped on us and of course, I couldn't turn them away. :) I would treat your animals the same way I treat mine- with love and snuggles.

About: Apart from my good aura & energy, cats are drawn to my respectful boundaries & patience to let them come to me when they are ready. I have been cat sitting for so long that I am familiar with several types of litter boxes, toys, foods & signs. "My cat has never warmed up so fast to anyone" remains a common phrase throughout my entire life. I wake up and let my parents dog out, clean the litter box for their cats & then feed the fish in case my mother forgot. I also feed the dog in the afternoon (mom does morning) & the cats as well. Any help that is needed along with vet visits, fall on me since I am home more than anyone. I make sure that I am aware of any hiding spots in other peoples homes for cats so that I can check on them constantly even if it just means checking that they are still in the same spot. Cats, depending on playfulness, need attention & proper care. I make sure I set alarms or reminders if they need medication or special care from the owners. Watching tv, reading a book or cleaning are my favorite past times while I cat sit. If I need to be home all day with them, then I will entertain myself easily.

My dogs are usually always by my side when I am home. My dogs love to jump on the bed or couch and get snuggles. I also have 3 cats. All of them found us. They were all dumped on us and of course, I couldn't turn them away. :) I would treat your animals the same way I treat mine- with love and snuggles.

About: I’ve been training my dogs as well as my friends dogs. I’m the type of person who goes to a gathering and if there is a dog I hang with the dog. I work 3-4 hours a day in the from 9-1 so I have plenty of availability. I am free most weekends as well as most evenings. I have two other dogs who have are great with other dogs and have helped me train other dogs as well. I have fostered for the local Humane Society in the past as well. I love playing with my dogs and taking them for walks.

Besides the cute pictures, Andy sent me a picture that showed Nate feeling relaxed. Frankly, I was glad Nate still wanted to come home!
