“Stephen and Angela took great care of Copper! He seemed right at home with them and they were very communicative! We would use them again for our next trip!”

“We had a wonderful experience! Zeke is a Lab, and they have a Lab too, plus they were watching another younger dog during his stay. He had so much fun having canine companions to play with. Their home is spacious with plenty of room for the dogs, and with four kids plus mom and dad, Zeke received lots of love, attention, and belly rubs. It was obvious he felt right at home. I also really appreciated the daily updates and photos, they gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. You can genuinely tell this is a family that loves dogs and treats them like part of the family. They’re just kind, caring people. As much as I hate leaving my dog behind when I travel, knowing he’ll be staying with a family like this makes it so much easier. I’ll definitely be booking with them again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for trustworthy, caring sitters.”

They really enjoyed themselves and were wore out from playing with Axel and one another while we were away. Would highly recommend Meagan for your pet’s booking needs. We will book again forsure!”

About: Hi, my name is Bill and I owned a dog daycare in Louisville for 10 years. I am now offering my exceptional dog care service in my own house. Your dog will receive the best care possible: lots of love and pets, walks, playtime in our fully fenced yard and their own suite to sleep. My clients tell me their dogs start wagging their tails and start barking with excitement as they turn on the street. We are dog owner ourselves with 2 pups and dog care is what we love to do! I can’t wait to meet your pup and treat them as my own! My service is 24/7. I am always home as my main focus is dog care. Your dog will never be left alone at my house. I’m happy to send pictures or video of your dog having fun while staying with me. I have a fully fenced yard in a safe and quiet neighborhood, but dogs are not let outside without myself out there with them. With owner’s permission they can go on safely monitored walks. Dogs are always separated during feeding times. Toys are out if everyone is toy friendly, but aggressive dogs are unfortunately not allowed for my safety and safety of dogs visiting.
“Angela made Sophie one of her family for over two weeks. She sent lots of pictures every day and it was obvious Sophie felt at home. We were afraid she might not want to come home.”

“Haley absolutely saved our life with a VERY last minute booking. She was super responsive, updated with photos, and was super close which made it the easiest experience possible. Cannot rave about her enough!!”

“Dan is amazing!! She went above and beyond and gave multiple updates each day with photos and how my cat was doing. Dan cared for her like she was her own and was very attentive to my cat’s needs and quirks. She was always on schedule with feedings and changing the litter. My cat thoroughly enjoyed spending time there and was living her best life! I will definitely Rover with Dan again. I would highly recommend Dan to care for your pet!!”

“We have a rescue dog who is very timid and takes a while to warm up to people. Sharon did an AMAZING job with him and made him feel right at home. She gave his medication without issue, and provided us lots of updates throughout our trip. She took the best care of our little guy and we are thrilled to have found her. Highly recommend! Thank you, Sharon!!”

“I cannot thank Julia enough; she was flexible with dates so we could board our dog immediately; her rates very reasonable - she was taking care of 8 dogs when we left ours with her so our dog had lots of company; we were able to leave her with Julia worry-free while we spent some quality time with family in la grange!”
“Patrick was great! Prompt communication and plenty of picture updates on Guthrie, who looked to be having the time of his life. I swear Guthrie was positively beaming when I picked him up! The afterglow remains several days after.”

“Thank you Brooke for taking such good care of Sterling. He came home happy and ready for his next adventure. Never missing a beat. It was great to meet you. I’ll be reaching out to you again thanks again kb”

“Due to some last-minute changes, I was later than expected on a fairly long trip to NC from KY and dog care was a key to making the weekend work. Meg was quick to reply and adapt to those changes. Really helped make the weekend trip to Bellermaine's graduation go well for us and I'm not sure we could have found a better place for Butterscotch to stay. Thank you very much.”

“This is my first time using Rover or having a pet sitter outside family/friends watch my cats. I was a little nervous leaving them with someone new, but I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Joanna was great with my cats. She was very communicative and left detailed notes of her visits. I would definitely have her watch my cats again. Thank you so much!”

Aside from basic feeding and cleaning the boxes, she took time to hang out with the kitties and play with them during her visit. I highly recommend her if you’re looking for a dependable and sweet pet sitter!”

She is a great communicator and was really good about adjusting the schedule when needed. She followed instructions to a T. I know my little ones were happy she was around. Five stars!”

“This was my second time booking with Lauran, and once again she was absolutely wonderful! Having someone I can trust with my two cats gives me so much peace of mind while we're away. She kept me updated with photos and messages, made sure my cats were well cared for, and even managed to earn the trust of my very shy cat, which says a lot! It's clear she genuinely cares about the animals she looks after and goes above and beyond to make sure they're comfortable. I wouldn't hesitate to book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring pet sitter!”

“Annie was perfect for my cats!! It was important that they be able to remain at home, and not be boarded, when I had to go out of town. They are both timid and shy. Annie was the perfect person to watch over them. She was kind and caring. I loved the videos and write ups she sent me while I was gone. I will want to connect with Annie again for future trips. Thanks, Annie!”

“Tabitha is the greatest! Her communication with us is 100%. She is always reliable and she drops in for visits when she says she will. My two cats are lucky to have her feed them and play with them while we are gone. Highly recommend Tabitha!”

“Laila is fantastic, and I highly recommend you book her. She came to meet my cat before hand and my boy was well taken care of. She even made friends with him which I thought was impossible since he does not like new people! Definitely book her!”

“Julia did great with our boys! Gave great notes at the end of each check in that let us know our boys were in good hands:) We really appreciate everything Julia did and highly recommend!”

“Carla did a great job with our cat, Tia. Tia is very shy and Carla brought her food to her when she wouldn't come out. Tia also requires pills and powders to manage a health condition which Carla handled with ease. Carla sent lots of updates and photos so we felt comfortable that Tia was being well cared for! We'll definitely use her again when we need a sitter.”

“It was such a relief knowing Anne was visiting my kitties everyday I was away. She always tried to engage them even when they were shy. She would pet and encourage them to eat. I appreciate her!”

About: Hi, I have been around animals of all different shapes and sizes my whole life. In addition to taking care of my own cat, I volunteer at the animal shelter to provide care and fostering. I would love to meet your furry friend! I recently completed my bachelor's degree at UCLA and relocated to Louisville to begin my professional career. Although I love pets, my lifestyle does not allow me to have a pet full-time. I will give the pets I care for maximal attention and energy. I think it is most important when a dog/cat is in a new environment or in one with new people is to make them feel comfortable and safe. In order to insure this I would spend time with the dog/cat and owner before I care for them on my own
“I wish I could give Cassidy TEN stars! She was extremely attentive to every detail, sent video updates each time she visited, and the dogs LOVED her! I highly recommend her to anyone!”

About: I had dogs and cats in my house my entire childhood. I helped feed them and walk them, gave them medications and played with them. I’ve even given a rowdy Doberman eye drops 😅 long story short, since moving away, I’m looking to have more pets in my life. As for cats, I also grew up cleaning litter boxes and dealing with diet changes. I’ve brushed cats on a very regular basis and love playing with them. I am also here to listen for any other requests or special needs that your pet may have! Whether that be for medications, treats, specifications for walking, training commands, etc. I’m here for you! I am currently working part time with an extremely flexible schedule. I am a stay at home mom expecting my first in August 2024 and spend time taking care of my own dog as well! I am an animal lover, so I am all about the pets, cuddles, and play time! I love to run around with them, play fetch, or just let them do their thing. All animals have different needs and I’m all about observing and listening to them in the moment.

“Collin is amazing and I am so blessed that my kitty, Penny, was able to board with such a loving family. Much to my surprise, Penny and Collin's kitty, Nala, became BFFs and played together! Collin kept me updated on Penny and her stay with him and his family. Truly, there is no better sitter in Louisville for fur babies!”

“Elizabeth and Phillip took great care of Hannah, and kept us informed and up to date with messages and pictures. Would certainly engage their services again!”

“Ebony was great with my girl Stella! She made her feel at home. Ebony sent me daily pics of Stella curled up next to her. I truly felt that Ebony and her family were great with Stella. I would absolutely leave Stella with her again! Thank you for being so amazing with Stella!”

“Our dog had a fabulous stay with David and his family. They are experienced pet people and very friendly. Our year and a half year old Maltese had never been away from us before and he did great staying with David for a whole week. I definitely recommend him and I plan to use David again.”
