“Dana was so good with my little dog. My dog is 10yrs old and very shy and timid. Dana took her out for a walk every couple of hours for a walk or let her out in yard. She didn't have any peeing accidents. She was so good to her. Dana also updated me everyday and sent me pictures of my dog during her stay. Sugar my dog was comfortable. I knew Sugar wouldn't eat much while I was gone that's the way she is. I came home a day early yet I let Dana keep the whole amount as tip. I would definitely use Dana again.”

About: I have been pet sitting since I was 16 years old. I am often asked by coworkers of family to house sit during their vacations. I have pet sat dogs, cats, fish, and even chickens! I am comfortable waking, giving medication, and cuddling (my personal favorite), whatever your pup needs! I have two dogs of my own. One of my dogs is a senior and is high need due to his bone cancer. He requires daily medication and will until we are able to remove the leg. My other pup is a rambunctious lab, who is high drive and needs daily stimulation so he doesn’t anger his older brother. I often take him on walks or use the pond near our home to tire him out! I am used to house sitting in all types of homes. If your pup needs a daily walk I am can do that. If they’re an outside pup we can take a walk or even a hike! I stay at the home and don’t leave often. I ask that a physical copy of directions are left so that I can give the 100% proper care and able to contact through phone as well!

About: In my future, i plan to start a rescue for animals in need and are injured. Animals are my best friend and i couldn’t ever imagine being without them. Growing up on a farm in southern KY I am used to caring for a variety of animals including dogs, cats, birds, miniature pigs, guinea pigs, rabbits, hamsters, etc! About: I’ve been taking care of pets regularly since 2017, but I’ve loved pets for much longer. Once I adopted my first dog Mia, my love for her grew into a love for every dog I lay eyes on, and I quickly became the designated sitter for all my friends’ pets. I’ve done it all from staying at their houses, taking their pets into my house, popping in for walks or play dates, and even taking in lost animals off the street to reunite them with their owners. Anything that gives me a chance to show an animal love and genuine care sets my heart aglow. More of my story: It all started when we adopted my family’s first fur baby when I was 8. As an only child, I’d begged my parents for a pet for years and they finally gave in when I was in the third grade. We adopted the last kitten left of the litter at the local pound. She was a black kitten that I named Roxy. Roxy and I were inseparable during my childhood, and I can’t imagine what it would have been like growing up without her. In 2017 when I got a place of my own that allowed pets, I adopted my first dog. Found on the streets, malnourished, severely underweight and her hair lost to mites, she had just given birth to a litter. I was volunteering as a dog walker at the local shelter at the time, and when I met her, I knew from that moment that my volunteer gig had turned into something much greater. I adopted her, and 9 years later, Mia and I are one and the same. I have one other part time job serving, so I have extensive availability for you and your pet(s) and can focus especially on your pet’s needs while you are away. I will stay at your home to keep your pet in its trusted environment. We will meet before you leave to go over routines and other details for your home and your pet’s environment.
About: I've taken care of my own dogs and assisted my friends and neighbors dogs and cats since I was a child. I love playing with dogs and cats of all ages and have ample experience with litter boxes and pooper scooping as well as giving medications and special dietary needs. I love cats and dogs of all ages but have the most experience with kittens and senior dogs. I am a stay at home mom so my schedule is different every day and every week. I am usually very flexible and am able to move around my schedule as needed. I will be walking your pet as the pace that they set and am open to discussions with what your pets needs are while they are with me. Time and distance can be discussed as needed as well. I am also open to discussion on how you prefer your pet cared for/played with in your home for a drop in. My goal is to make you and your pet as comfortable as possible with the pet care provided.
About: I started babysitting at around 13, from then on through high school and into college, I found a love for caring for both animals and children. As I got older I began routinely house/pet sitting for my aunt who had 4 cats and my grandma who had 3 dogs. Most recently I house sat for a MSgt in Abilene Texas who had 2 cats and 2 dogs for a little over a week. Being recently separated from the Air Force, my schedule is flexible as I am seeking to ease back into work- while also maintaining flexibility, as I intend on being a full time student in the fall. About: I have been pet sitting since I was 16 years old. I am often asked by coworkers of family to house sit during their vacations. I have pet sat dogs, cats, fish, and even chickens! I am comfortable waking, giving medication, and cuddling (my personal favorite), whatever your pup needs! I have two dogs of my own. One of my dogs is a senior and is high need due to his bone cancer. He requires daily medication and will until we are able to remove the leg. My other pup is a rambunctious lab, who is high drive and needs daily stimulation so he doesn’t anger his older brother. I often take him on walks or use the pond near our home to tire him out! I am used to house sitting in all types of homes. If your pup needs a daily walk I am can do that. If they’re an outside pup we can take a walk or even a hike! I stay at the home and don’t leave often. I ask that a physical copy of directions are left so that I can give the 100% proper care and able to contact through phone as well!
About: I've taken care of different types of dogs for five years I love teaching them how to roll dot stand speak ECT I'm also very good at potty training It's is my full time job just because I love working with animals and they love me too. About: In my future, i plan to start a rescue for animals in need and are injured. Animals are my best friend and i couldn’t ever imagine being without them. I’ve taken care of 10 dogs most of my life. My parents love animals so i’ve always been around different kind of animals. About: I can't remember a time I didn't have a dog! From birth I've always had my dog companons, I currently have 2 dogs of my own.(Deiliah, and scoob) Ive volunteered at several animal shelters delicating alot of my time to the ones who need love, and for the simple fact... About: We’ve had animals for as long as I can remember. Growing up on a farm in southern KY I am used to caring for a variety of animals including dogs, cats, birds, miniature pigs, guinea pigs, rabbits, hamsters, etc! Our animals have always been apart of our family and go where we go! Our animals are allowed on the furniture, sleep in our bed, and love to visit our parents house! I’m home all day as a stay at home mom and my husband is fully remote so our pup is used to having somewhere there for whatever she needs or when we do go out and about if we’re able to we take her! Our dog frequents our parents house for even more cuddles and play! Animals are always part of the family on our end.

When it's time to rest, they will enjoy relaxing in my spacious clean home with plenty of love and care. I am a stay-at-home mom with children who attend summer camps. Drop off can be as early as 7:00 a.m. and for overnight stays 6:00 p.m. Pick up times can be negotiated. Large safe neighborhood, in the heart of Independence. You can trust that I will be with your pet for most of the day and I always let the owners know if I have errands to run or appointments to attend. My children are 7 and 10 years old, they absolutely love animals. They have been educated on the proper way to approach and play with dogs and cats. At no time will the children be left with your pet alone. When my husband is in town, he arrives home around 5:45 every evening and is a big dog lover. He misses having a dog but travels too much for the military.
