About: I have been in the pet-sitting scene for 3 years now! Started with friends and family, then branched out from there! I've learned how to care for a variety of animals, including dogs, cats, birds, and my favorite type of pet: rodents (Guinea Pigs are the Best!). Taken care of older pets that need medications and careful care, as well as young and energetic pets that need some more playtime and enrichment! I believe one of the most important skills to have to be a great pet sitter is proper and clear communication with the owners. I communicate how often an owner would want! I would communicate with videos and pictures of your pet's adventures, or communicate any concerns if any arise. I want to make sure that while you're away, you can rest easy knowing your pet is safe and happy! :) I do work part-time as of right now, typically working 15-25 hours a week. I mostly work morning shifts from 10:30-5:00, but usually leave an hour early. If you need me to stay most of the day, please let me know at least a month in advance; I would happily take off work! There are a few things I would like to know about your furry little friend: 1. How often do they need to go out? 2. How much enrichment do they need? 3. Do they take any medication? 4. Do they have any triggers I should be concerned about? 5. Do they have a good understanding of commands? (It's ok if not :3) 6. How long can they be left alone? Please inform me of anything I need to know. I want to make sure your baby/babies are taken care of! I can't wait to meet some new friends!
About: I am a pet owner myself. I have a 2 year old puppy, great pyrenees and mount bernese mix, Willow. We adopted her at 8 weeks old and have been happy ever since. I’m currently working part time at a local grocery store. I’m free in the evenings Monday-Wednesdays, available all day Thursdays and Fridays. Available late afternoon Saturdays and Sundays. I’ll follow any instruction that is needed to take care of your pet. I can give baths, play with your pet in the backyard, and I will clean any mess your pet makes. We stayed for a bit so that we could make sure our German Shepherd and Husky would get along with the other dogs and Melody was so accommodating, introducing each dog slowly and calmly. I also want to point out that Melody has a 5' fence which is one of the reasons we decided to go with her as our sitter. Finn has been known to jump shorter fences but I knew he would be safe in her yard. Another great thing was all of the puppy friends they got to play with while they were there! About: I am an avid pet lover, who would much rather have 4 legged friends than 2 legged ones. I have been taking care of dogs and cats at my house for the past 8 years as well as pets of very close family members and friends. About: My animal experience goes way back to childhood. At the age of 7 I started in 4h, learning about animal husbandry. By the age of 13 I was volunteering at the local riding stables. By high school, I was working at the local animal shelter, volunteering with local rescues and advancing my education in dog training, with hopes of getting into service dogs. Should I need to leave the house for small errands, there is still someone left at home, or the animal will have a safe enclosed room to themselves.
