About: I am a Military Spouse of 14 years, with all 14 of them, dragging our pups along with us for the ride. We have a Dachshund (13.5 years) and a Doberman (12.5 years) who are showing their age. I am comfortable providing routine medicine and have experience with doing insulin shots 2x daily. I am open to coming to your home to provide care, spend time with your pet and/or take them for walks. I am not currently comfortable with having other pets in my house with the unpredictability of my aging dogs and young children. If you're comfortable with it, I may have my children (8 yo boy, 3 yo girl) present with me during our drop ins. Located right on Ft. Knox, I am ready to meet your pets! I have worked outside of the home my entire adult life. Two years ago, my husband and I started what was supposed to be a small side hustle business (Heimtime Shirts) that has grown into something much larger than what we anticipated. I have decided to step away from my FT job at HRC and focus on Heimtime Shirts. However, I want to still be able to supplement my income during the slower times and help our military families by othering pet services! I am offering Morning, Afternoon and Evening drop in care. During those drop in's I can play with your pet(s), take them for a walk, or just snuggle, whatever is needed. Each drop in would be around 15-30 minutes depending on my availability with one of the times being at least 1 hour per day.

About: I’ve lived around dogs and other animals my whole life. I’ve owed many different breeds of dogs. I feel like often my focus is dogs but I love all animals, cats, rabbits you name it. This is extremely Exciting for me because I love animals, I’m that person who is always wanting to take in that wondering stray. Simply I love interacting with dogs like I’ve been accustomed to all my life. My family bred cocker spaniels when I was a child so that meant cleaning crates, bathing, basic grooming (cutting hair, brushing, trimming nails) I know some training like crate training house training, basic commands such as sit, stay, lay down, come when called, and wait for food. I can work with all breeds and know quite a bit about all dog breeds and backgrounds. I’m currently self-employed and have plenty of time on my hands. My mornings make up most of my free time, so mornings work best for me. Currently I have two dogs of my own that run on a time based schedule that includes routine feeding, bathroom break, play, quiet time, and one daily chewy treat. Boarding, Walking or even just playing don’t hesitate to reach out, I’m here for all of your pets needs! I am a stay home mom, I have an online pet store that I manage, so I have plenty of free time on my hands. Pets are taken care of very well here. They are watched very intently. I also have a slat mill and dog pacer treadmill to provide plenty of exercise during inclement weather. I can also provide plenty of enrichment via puzzle toys, lick mats and kongs which is important for mental stimulation.

About: I have a lot of experience caring for animals! We have had animals my entire life, and I currently now have 5 of my own. Anyone who knows me knows I am an animal lover and your dogs will feel at home here. I do have children ages 6 and 3 and one cat. I currently only work 2 days a week and have 2 kids who love to go on walks! So I am home most of the day and I am also able to walk any time of day! In my home I have a privacy fenced in backyard for your dogs to play in! I also have a crate that they can go in if needed!

About: My animal experience goes way back to childhood. At the age of 7 I started in 4h, learning about animal husbandry. By the age of 13 I was volunteering at the local riding stables. By high school, I was working at the local animal shelter, volunteering with local rescues and advancing my education in dog training, with hopes of getting into service dogs. All my boarder dogs are treated as family, allowed on beds and furniture and cage free unless otherwise requested. Bath or grooming add ons are always available! About: My Grandmother was a Colorado State award-winning dog trainer and I grew up helping her care for her three Belgian Tervurans. I've owned several dogs throughout my life as well. I have a history of volunteer work at shelters and have cared for a wide range of dogs! I have three kids aged 3, 4, and 7 who have grown up around all types of animals, including dogs of all sizes. Currently, we have one ferret, one cat, and we just rescued a puppy! We are extremely active with our animals and play with them throughout the day! My wife and I both work 35 hours a week on opposite schedules so one of us is always available! We have separate days off so 5 days a week, one of us has the day off. Outside: We have a large fenced in back yard with only one exterior entry point which is double gated. The double gated side yard is where we usually meet the owners when they come for pick up. The double gated entry way provides protection from escape artists🤣 We have a large metal container that we use as a water trough that we fill with ice water 3 times a day to keep all dogs well hydrated! We have lots of dog toys for the back yard as well. Inside: Dogs sleep upstairs on the main floor, but during the day, they have full access to the house and back yard. We do not provide kennels but will use one if the owner brings one. Dogs eat at the same time we eat. We send LOTS of pictures and updates throughout the day!

My daily schedule is basically built around my two dogs, and caring for them isn’t something I would consider as “fitting-in”, they are my routine. My friend tells me that I have an “unnecessary amount of empathy” for my dogs. I don’t care for my dog, or any pet, like normal people do. I treat animals as my kids and love to see them happy, healthy, and in a good home ( mine has the tv on when I go to work). If I’m caring for another’s pet, Sammy usually goes to his grandmas so your pet can have my full attention. If I am caring for a pet in a clients home, I’m flexible and will accommodate the pets usual schedule, plus anything extra such as taking them to the park, to Lowe’s or Home Depot to walk around, or a pet store. I have a mid sized SUV and I use a hammock in my back seat to prevent injuries in the event of any accidents.

We are an active family so being outside a lot is important and we love to share that with animals. I do not have a fenced yard at my house, I always stay with my puppy weather on leads or ecollar. We have an electric fence but I ensure nothing can come into our yard(other animals, people etc). If we do not use the electric fence we use a long lead. At a clients home if they have a fenced yard I would still never leave an animal unattended, that’s just me personally. I would love to spend time with your pets outside, maybe we can play a little or if your fur babies just wanna soak up some sun and relax, I’m here for it all! If the client does not have a fenced yard I would use a long lead or regular leash and never leave the pup pup unattended. For safety both in my own home or clients I utilize a crate if necessary, and positive reinforcement for good behavior! I also have experience with muzzles and other tools(collars, leads, head leads, etc) Its not only about protecting me and others but to ensure the safety of the animal as well.
