Rooster can struggle with separation anxiety, and this was our first Rover experience where, when I arrived to pick her up, she happily greeted me and then immediately went back to playing instead of making a beeline for the car to go home. About: I have been pet sitting since I was 16 years old. I am often asked by coworkers of family to house sit during their vacations. I have pet sat dogs, cats, fish, and even chickens! I am comfortable waking, giving medication, and cuddling (my personal favorite), whatever your pup needs! I have two dogs of my own. One of my dogs is a senior and is high need due to his bone cancer. He requires daily medication and will until we are able to remove the leg. My other pup is a rambunctious lab, who is high drive and needs daily stimulation so he doesn’t anger his older brother. I often take him on walks or use the pond near our home to tire him out! I am used to house sitting in all types of homes. If your pup needs a daily walk I am can do that. If they’re an outside pup we can take a walk or even a hike! I stay at the home and don’t leave often. I ask that a physical copy of directions are left so that I can give the 100% proper care and able to contact through phone as well!

About: Hello! I’m Ashlyn and I have been raised with at least three dogs all my life, from Yorkies to Great Danes I have owned them all! I currently own two dogs, and have been dog sitting as long as I can remember. I am a full time teacher, so my dogs are put outside and fed at about 7am, put outside again at 3pm, walked and or played with until 5pm, dinner and put outside at 6pm, and outside again at 9pm. On weekends, they follow a very similar routine, with more breaks outside and longer walks. I am comfortable with giving dogs medication, and I am overly cautious with pretty much everything such chewing on furniture, other dogs, etc. The dog being safe and the clients comfort is my top priority.

About: I’ve had the privilege of growing up with dogs since the age of 10. I’ve never lived in a house without 1-2 dogs. It’s always been a priority of mine to take my dog on at least a 2 mile walk a day if not longer. I have pet sat for families in the past and fostered a puppy in college. Come July I start school T,TH,F from roughly 9-4:30. Otherwise I will be working my PRN job whenever they are in need and I’m available. Over the past 12-14 years I’ve grown up with dogs living in my household. I currently have one medium sized dog, Nala, whom I recused about 5 years ago. She’s a velcro dog and the sweetest they come. She was 5 months old when we adopted her and it’s always been a priority to enforce socialization from day one. When she was almost the age of 2 we bought a German Shepard, Bo, at 8weeks old who she has grown up and lived with over the past 4 years. Regardless of who they are around we make sure to properly introduce everyone who is welcomed into their/our space. After moving to Lexington Nala moved with me as Bo stayed back home. I have a fenced in backyard with plenty of space to run and play. Nala likes to keep to herself most of the time, but highly enjoys walks, treats, and toys.

About: I worked at animal boarding facility (PetSuites if any are familiar) where I took care of both dogs and cats for 3 years. We’d be assigned one or the other for a day, and some of my favorite days were with the felines! I've had critters to love and care for since I can remember - all kinds: dogs, cats, a pony, ducks, chickens, rabbits, birds, guinea pigs and fish. About: We have watched many pets over the years and are finally bringing our love to the masses. :) We truly love all animals (every where we have lived animals indoor/outdoor just flock to us it seems ha). We give them the care they deserve and treat every last one as if it were our own personal pet. We have also had several pets through the years that needed medical attention daily (generally giving medication) and understand the importance of maintaining medicine/medical care in a very timely manner. I had a great dane as a teenager so big dogs are no problem. I am a stay-at-home, homeschooling mom so I am home a most of the time, never gone for long. I am available seven days a week. About: Ever since I was a child, my family has shared a deep love for dogs. I cared for my energetic Cocker Spaniel until I was 19 years old. In his later years, he developed heart disease and required daily medication, extra attention, and lots of patience. Caring for him taught me how important consistency, compassion, and attentiveness are when looking after a pet. After I moved out, my husband and I chose a spacious apartment with a beautiful lake view and welcomed two wonderful pets, Lucy and Jax, into our family. About: I can't remember a time I didn't have a dog! From birth I've always had my dog companons, I currently have 2 dogs of my own.(Deiliah, and scoob) Ive volunteered at several animal shelters delicating alot of my time to the ones who need love, and for the simple fact... How can you be sad surrounded by furry doggos...that's right you can't! I take my dog on daily walks, bathe her, love her, and play with all her favorite toys! Delilah is my rescue dog and she's been the biggest blessing to our family! I've never met a dog I don't like.. so let me love your fur babies! I accept puppies,and old dogs. All breeds are equally loved, pits, labs, Chihuahuas, and even Dobermans! I work 12 hour shifts Wednesday through Saturday. I have availability anytime after 2:00 Sunday through Tuesday I am available all day I currently work Wednesday through Saturday 2:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. I am off Sunday through Tuesday so my availability is flexible feel free to reach out During the visit if your pet gets too anxious I am able to create them a safe space or put them in their crate. I try to really behavior and adapt best to the pet.. I'm in their home therefore I adapt.
About: For my entire life, I have grown up with a dog in my family home. I have experienced first hand how to care for a 2 month old puppy and a 13 year old senior dog. Since the age of 16, I have also watched family friends dogs, either doing overnight stays or routinely check-ins with the dogs. As a graduate student, I have classes on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. On those days, your pup may be home for a few hours while I’m in class, but I’ll make sure they get plenty of attention, exercise, and potty breaks before I leave and as soon as I return. Outside of my class schedule, I have a flexible routine and spend most of my time at home, so I’ll be able to provide lots of companionship, playtime, walks, and cuddles throughout the day. My goal is to make sure every dog feels safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away! When caring for pets in your home, my goal is to keep their routine as consistent and stress-free as possible. I’ll follow all of your instructions regarding feeding, walks, medications, playtime, and any other special care your pet needs. I understand that every dog has a unique personality and routine, and I’m happy to adapt to what makes them feel the most comfortable. I’ll also treat your home with the same respect I would my own by keeping everything clean, secure, and exactly as you left it. I love cleaning and doing daily chores, so that will never be a problem for me! I’ll provide regular updates, photos, and messages so you can feel confident that your pet is happy, safe, and well cared for while you’re away. My priority is making sure both you and your pet have peace of mind.

About: I currently cannot have my own dog but I love taking care of dogs. I have been watching some family friends’ dogs taking care of them and their home while they’re on vacation. I’m currently working a job part time on the weekends but my week days are completely free because I’m a teacher who is off for the summer. I have a fenced in yard. About: My name is Emily. I work full time in public service and I am a dog mom to a Golden Doodle named Rudy. I have 4+ years of working in animal care from working in shelters, as a veterinary assistant, and have cared for my neighbor's pets when needed. I am able to administer medications and care for any pets that have special needs due to having experienced working in both small and large animal clinics. I will treat your fur baby like my own! I currently have availability on week days in the evening and weekends all day. In the summer from end of June to mid - July I will have all day availability as well. About: I'd always dreamed of growing up to become a vet, and I came close when I worked at multiple animal hospitals on/off for years! While I was working though I picked up a few pet sitting jobs on the side and realized I loved the one on one care that came with it. Saving animals lives is great, but snuggling, playing, feeding, and loving on them is even better! I'm currently working full time as a petsitter, so I have just about 24/7 availability! I can do visits, daily boarding, and even overnight stays! I can do many things required for any care needed, like changing diapers, and admistering medications! I currently have a routine with a few clients that I do daily visits with. I have also had one of those said clients do a week of boarding when her mom was away recently! I do have pets of my own, but they can be completely separated from yours if need be.

“Our first experience using Rover was having our one-year-old American Bully stay for over a week with Hailey. This was not only our first experience using Rover, but also our first prolonged separation from him and his first experience with boarding. We were very selective about who we wanted and met with many other people before Hailey. However, the moment that we met Hailey and her husband at their home, we knew that this was the perfect place for our boy and that he would be well attended to and loved during his stay. While we were away, we received constant updates, pictures, and videos of our dog and it was clear that he was having a great time. Hailey also went above and beyond by providing last minute grooming services at our request for an outstanding price. When we arrived to pick up our dog, he was elated to see us (yay!) but it was also clear that he has been extremely comfortable while we were away. I cannot recommend Hailey's home and care enough. I also cannot imagine having our dog stay with anyone else so long as Hailey opens her home to others' animals. 5 stars. Two thumbs up.”
