About: I am a pet owner myself. I have a 2 year old puppy, great pyrenees and mount bernese mix, Willow. We adopted her at 8 weeks old and have been happy ever since. I’m currently working part time at a local grocery store. I’m free in the evenings Monday-Wednesdays, available all day Thursdays and Fridays. Available late afternoon Saturdays and Sundays. I’ll follow any instruction that is needed to take care of your pet. I can give baths, play with your pet in the backyard, and I will clean any mess your pet makes. About: I have taken care of dogs my whole life including small to large dogs. I am not a professional trainer but I have experience in training my own fur babies. My work is flexible where I can drop in for visits, take them out walking or just spend time playing with them. I can also board them, so that you can have a stress free vacation. They will have a fenced yard to play in and two buddies to play with. I will send lots of pictures and updates. To ensure safety, please have all vaccinations up to date and send me a copy, if possible. About: Although we currently only have one female dog, we have nearly always had 2 large dogs (Chesapeake bay retrievers) for the past 20 years. We lost our big guy in April 2024 and haven't had it in us to get another. So, we are ready to share our home and yard with your pup! I currently stay home with my two year old human and 7 year old dog. So, your dog will rarely ever be alone while boarded. We mostly just leave for my older kids sports events. I have a fully fenced acre for a backyard. It's a dog's paradise! I also have a female 7yo Chesapeake who is good with other dogs. I can keep dogs separate as needed. We have fostered before and had 0 issues. We generally keep dogs separated until they have proven compatible. She sleeps with our son. So, your dog could sleep with me. We have three kids, ages 2, 11, and 13. So, if you have a kid loving dog, we want to watch them!
“We will 100% come back to Melody for dog sitting again. Finn and Echos stay with Melody went great. I was worried because my dogs aren't the calmest and best behaved but she said the did very well. We stayed for a bit so that we could make sure our German Shepherd and Husky would get along with the other dogs and Melody was so accommodating, introducing each dog slowly and calmly. I also want to point out that Melody has a 5' fence which is one of the reasons we decided to go with her as our sitter. Finn has been known to jump shorter fences but I knew he would be safe in her yard. Another great thing was all of the puppy friends they got to play with while they were there! I appreciate Jessica's entire family opening up their home and loving on my girl while I had to be gone.”
