“She was great with my puppies and wore them out. We needed someone last minute and she was perfect for it. There was good communication beginning with seeing if she could board to pictures during the stay. Great sitter!”

“Ashley is great. I’m a proudly overly-protective puppy-parent and hardly ever trust my dogs with anyone. My buddy is a large, in-tact, German Shepherd. Ashley took great care of him. I will definitely book her in the future. Highly recommend. - Retired Army”

About: Hello there! I am Allison. I’ve lived on a farm my whole life so animals is all I know! I have several dogs and cats of my own so I’m very familiar with animals and their own needs! Growing up my family gave me a dog to start out with so that I could learn responsibility and to learn what it took to take care of an animal, so I learned at a young age and I’ve been doing it every since! I don’t mind to travel to help out with your animals and give them the love they deserve while you are out and about. I also have a toddler who is wonderful with animals and she would love to meet yours! I work with animals all day, every day! The perks of living on a farm. I personally have five dogs that need love and attention. I like to follow instructions. The most important thing is keeping animals on their schedules/routines while on a trip or just visit. Love and compassion helps an animal from stressing unnecessarily.

About: I grew up with animals and wanted to be a vet or caregiver. I have done Therapy Dog programs with Hospice and inbound elderly to bring the love of animals to brighten their day. I have adopted several adult rescue dogs, including Whippet and Greyhound breeds. As a child, I always had cats, including DSH and later Siamese breed. I support Adoption rescue and spay/neuter. I grew up on a small farm with cows, rabbits, and many visitors! I work remote from home weekdays and have a flexible schedule with more open availability on weekends. Conveniently located near Basil Griffin Park and Three Springs Roads. I have a 8 foot fenced yard, and have 2 fur babies (Shih-Tzu) that are very friendly. I live in a small residential community with various cul-de-sac streets safe for walking. I enjoy exercise and walking so incorporating dogs into that routine is fun and relaxing!

“Kayla and her husband are the absolute best!!! They loved our dogs like their own and our dogs fell in love with them immediately!!! They sent daily pics and videos and the joy on our 4 dog’s faces were pure joy. They totally felt at home. And to open their home during Christmas was such a blessing! Would absolutely use them from now on. 🙏”

Kevin T.

“Your pet couldn't be in better hands!!! Will 100% book with Linda again. She treated our dog like her own. We had ZERO worries about Mollie during our trip. One million percent recommend!”

About: Loving and caring for pets has been a part of my entire life. At a young age I started caring for my neighbor's pets while they were gone, helping lost dogs find their way back home, and training my own dogs. I started volunteering at my local shelter with basic care and also taking dogs off site for some fun outside of the shelter setting- walking, rollerblading for more active dogs, or just hanging out in the yard and working on training commands. I do it all for the love of pets! I currently make my own schedule with the school district working with special needs students, so I have a pretty flexible schedule aside from school drop off and pick up for my children. I'm also available weekends and evenings. Going for the day to Mammoth National Park? Don’t want to leave your pet alone in a rental or hotel? Perfect! I’m on right on your way! Let me keep your pet company and safe while you enjoy all things Mammoth! I have a fenced (4.5’), grassy yard with elevated and covered porch. I do have my own pets so their safety and your pup's safety is of the most importance to me. My pups do not have free range of my home. With a spare room and tall gates I am able to keep separation if desired. I am also able to crate your pup if requested.

“Esther took amazing care of Teddy. Teddy had great company while I was gone instead of being alone. She also recommended better dog food. She does great work. Highly recommend.”

“Karagen is definitely a 5 star pet sitter and boarder. This was my first experience with Rover and I was very nervous because my Puggsley is older. Upon arriving, Puggsley was very comfortable and I felt at ease. Her attentiveness to keeping me up to date with his daily care was phenomenal & gave me comfort. Karagen will be my only sitter/boarder moving forward. Thank you once again from me & Puggsley!!”

About: I have a black lab named Xara who is 12 years old. I've dog sat for many people over the years. I love taking care of animals and just enjoying time with them. I know how hard it is to find someone who can take care of my animal when I need to go out of town or on a short trip. I'd love to be a helping hand I work part time only in the mornings and am home for the remainder of the day. I love outside play and sun bathing. At least my pup does. I offer frequent potty breaks, make sure water is always available and playtime is a must. I will love your pet as my own and hope you will give me the privilege of caring for them. Thank you for your consideration.

“Rosaanna is very sweet and has an obvious love for animals! Both of my kitties loved her when we did our meet and greet. Even my shy girl was coming up to her for pets and sniffs (she usually hides around new people). Rosaanna did everything I asked and more. I recommend Rosaanna for all your pet sitting needs, will definitely book again. ☺️”

“Taryn was AMAZING! I was nervous leaving my cats and had never used Rover before, but I'm so happy I found Taryn. She sent me regular updates and pictures of all my cats, so I still felt very connected to them and felt comfortable that they were doing well. She was patient with my two timid cats and I got the sense that they all loved her! I felt like Taryn truly took the time to care for my cats and I know they had good company while I was away. She also fed the strays/feral cats while I was gone which was not necessary but very much appreciated. My house was also very clean when I came home--Taryn cleaned out all the bowls and the kitchen area and left everything very organized which was a nice extra touch. I will 100% hire Taryn again!”

“Whitney was absolutely amazing taking care of our girl, Pizza, while we explored Mammoth Cave. It was our first time using Rover, and I can only hope all of our future Rover experiences are even close to this good. She kept us updated throughout the day with photos and messages about what Pizza was doing, which gave us so much peace of mind. Her home was easy to find, and she even took the time to recommend family-friendly things to do in the area for our kids. When I first reached out, we were already on the road and scrambling to find last-minute care for our dog. Whitney responded almost immediately, and I can’t tell you how much we appreciated that. From start to finish, the entire experience was stress-free. I wouldn’t hesitate to leave Pizza with Whitney again, and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone who will genuinely care for their pet.”

About: I provide dependable, personalized care and treat every pet like they’re part of my family. I understand that every dog has different needs, whether they’re a playful puppy, an energetic adult, or a senior who needs extra patience and attention. I’m comfortable following detailed care instructions, administering medications if needed, maintaining routines, and providing regular updates so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. Pet care fits well into my schedule because I work PRN, which gives me flexibility to accept bookings when I’m available and devote quality time to the pets in my care. Since pet sitting is something I genuinely enjoy, I view it as both a rewarding hobby and an opportunity to spend time with animals. Because I have a flexible schedule, I can accommodate walks, feeding schedules, playtime, potty breaks, and plenty of attention throughout the day. I make it a priority to keep pets comfortable and maintain their normal routines while their owners are away. My goal is to provide reliable, loving care so both pets and their owners can feel at ease. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, my priority is making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I follow each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, potty breaks, exercise, medications, and any special instructions provided by the owner. I make sure pets receive plenty of attention, playtime, and affection while also respecting their individual personalities and needs. For active pets, I provide walks and enrichment activities. For senior pets or those who are more reserved, I’m happy to offer a calmer environment with extra patience and care. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I treat their home with the same respect I would my own. I keep owners updated with messages and photos so they can have peace of mind knowing their pets are happy and well cared for while they’re away.

About: I have been working with all kinds of animals since I was a young child. I have even worked at as a veterinary assistant and a zookeeper. I have been pet sitting for over 20 years and due to my specialized experience, I can take care of almost any special needs or medication requirements. In addition, I have special experience in animal behavior and training to notice when something may be wrong. Most of all, I love dogs, cats, snakes, rodents, and all kinds of exotics. I have also fostered animals to make sure they don't end up in shelters. Animals tend to notice me from across the room and I'm sitting on the floor with them before long, enjoying face licks or purrs. This is the kind of TLC that will be shared with any animal I have to chance to spend time with while you're away. My schedule is very flexible. I tutor, pet sit and volunteer at a local theater. So, it is easy to fit our schedules together in a way that works for everyone. In addition, my husband sometimes helps me out to make sure we can get the hours you need. He only comes if he is able to come to the meet and greet and be approved by you. He is incredible with animals as well. There is no extra charge, just 2 incredible animal lovers for the price of one. At home, I have 3 indoor cats and a corn snake. All our animals were either from a foster home or strays. We've also taken in animals with special needs as fosters or permanent in our home. They call us when an animal needs extra care. Our 12 yo female found us as a stray and we think she was the runt of the litter. She's a total diva princess The snake is what we call a foster fail because we ended up adopting her because of her her special needs. She came to us after having been injured by cats breaking into her cage at the home before us. We gave her special baths, pain medication and anti-biotic shots and nursed her back to health over months. By the time she was healed, she was ours. She is now the longest corn snake we've ever seen at over 5 feet. We show a lot of love to our cats and they want to be around us as often as possible. They always have access to food and clean water, and their litter is cleaned daily. When we have foster rats. They get a yummy salad and/or leftovers daily, and any leftovers are removed from her cage shortly. Our most recent geriatric rat (They only live 3-5 years and we get them towards the end of life because no one else wants them) had extra time daily because she was neglected for the first 2 1/2 years of her life and this gentle love and training turned her into a sweet rat, enjoying the last few months she had to the fullest. When pet sitting, I spend extra time taking care of all animals needs and giving them the love they deserve. I also send at least one picture a day so you can feel connected to your babies while you're away. I also have no issue bringing in mail, taking out trash or other daily things that may need to get done. I like to leave your furry children and your home better than I found it. We have had dogs, but not currently due to the size of our home and wanting to have more flexibility in our schedule for pet sitting, etc.
