About: I’ve taken care of dogs practically my whole life. It’s one of my greatest passions and most of my life I would dogsit for anyone who would let me growing up. I would love to make sure all of the animals are safe and well cared for while their owners are gone. I currently go to school and work part time, but there is most certainly time for me to fit in helping these families with their animals when they need it. I do live in an apartment complex but I have many years of experience with walking dogs of all kinds so I could walk it when needed. As for as toys, a crate or bedding at my apartment, I don’t have much of that, but could get some if needed.

About: We've owned and cared for dogs for over 35 years. Our first dogs were a Lab and a Golden Retriever then a Pug and a Puggle and now the parents of a Lab/Husky mix. We provide loving care with plenty of exercise in our non-smoking, fenced home. We live one block from Jacobson Park and its wonderful dog parks so rest assured your fur baby will receive plenty of attention, exercise, fun and love during its stay. I work from home and my spouse is a stay at home spouse, so we are available to provide constant care, exercise, play time and supervision for your fur baby. About: I’ve owned dogs and cats since I was a kid my family loves animals. I dog sit for family friends and have taken care of animals as veterinarian tech. I’m currently a student at UK and take a mix of online and short in person classes. My schedule is pretty relaxed as I don’t have classes everyday of the week. When I do have class I’m home a lot between classes and have time to check on animals every 2 hours. I live near campus so I can take your pet on walks around campus or to the park. About: I have 3 dogs of my own and have cared for many! For long periods or short periods, I know how hard it is to trust someone to watch your pups. My house is completely dog proof at this point. They will definitely be in good hands! I started rover because as a pet parent, the thought of finding someone to trust with my dog makes me so nervous. I really want to ease others minds and know their dog is in the hands of someone who LOVES to do this. I really enjoy making these dogs happy and taken care of. I truly treat them like my own, which is like my children! This is now my full time job so I will be home fully with your pet unless I have other drop-in visits to complete. My dogs are very friendly and like playing with others. Each of my dogs are AKC certified CGC (canine good citizens). My yard is fenced in and completely secure. My house is doggy proof, no one is eating anything they shouldn’t on my watch! Everything that a dog could get into is put up. I have a pool opened in the summer with stairs that the dogs can go into, also separately fenced for the pups that can’t swim. Keeping a clean and sanitized house is important to me for my dogs and your dogs health. My couch covers are washed weekly and my floors and my dog’s crates are cleaned with kennel sol which kills most dog related illnesses. My dogs are vaccinated. You are more than welcome inside my house to see the set up!

One of my own sweet boys is getting up in years—he’s a little more fragile, and a little less patient than he once was, and I worry that boarding a stranger would cause him a lot of unnecessary stress. When caring for pets in the home of my clients, it’s important to remember that the little one that I’m caring for is likely stressed because their mom and/or dad are gone, and there is a stranger (me) in their home.
