He tries to hide when he knows he is going to the sitter, but once he is there it’s clear that he has a level of comfort as he eventually starts a routine that even involves things he does at home (asking for ice cubes for example) Each stay I always get a few pictures or check ins, and she is extremely quick to respond if I need to message about something. My pup has done day care there, short stays, and week long stays. Always comes back nice and tired from the fun he has. He still doesn’t want to leave me, but that’s okay! About: I’ve been caring for animals since I was a little girl, and animals have always been a huge part of my life. Over the years, I’ve owned and cared for many different types of pets and have always taken the time to research their individual needs so I could give them the best life possible. I have over 30 years of experience with dogs of all sizes, ages, and personalities, from small breeds to large, powerful dogs. I’m comfortable following established routines, providing plenty of attention and playtime, and adapting my approach to each dog’s individual personality and needs. I also have experience with senior pets and understand that they may need extra patience, a slower pace, and closer attention to their comfort and behavior. My own dog is Hemi, my Rottweiler and resident “big baby.” He loves giving hugs and even knows how to tilt his head on command! Having a large dog of my own has given me plenty of hands-on experience with the strength, energy, and wonderfully goofy personalities that often come with bigger breeds. When I care for your dog, I want them to feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I’ll follow your instructions and their normal routine, spend quality time playing or relaxing with them, and I’m happy to send pictures and updates so you can see how they’re doing. I treat every pet in my care the way I would want someone to treat my own. As a teacher, I have a consistent schedule that makes it easy to plan pet care around my workday. I’m available for house-sitting every other week and can provide care before and after school as well as more flexible care on weekends and school breaks. I have two dogs and five cats, as well as a hobby bird farm. Lots of smells and cuddles to be had. I also am happy to stay in your home and care for your pet in their own comfort zone. My work is remote, and as long as you have wi-fi, I'm set up to be productive. I've cared for very old and too young rescues for both dogs and cats, including medication and funky feeding schedules. I've even helped socialize shy rescues and help normalize healthy potty habits. I work full time fully remote, with limited travel. I always keep my calendar up to date with availability and obligations. I live in a rural area, so stay overs are preferred over drop ins, just because of travel time. The pets come first! They rely on us for everything, so I'm always keeping an eye open for their needs. Sometimes it's a potty break, dinner, or their own space. We have an extra-large kennel we keep set up in the event someone needs it, and a small one we set up if someone needs a more enclosed space for comfort and safety. I love getting pictures of my cats when we leave on a trip, so I always reciprocate when I'm pet sitting for someone else. You will always know your pup is getting tummy rubs, or your Guinea pigs are getting their veggies at dinner time.

Sarosh was accommodating to our needs, took exceptional care of our Australian Shepherd (walks and picture updates), and is extremely responsive to texts. I highly recommend!”

About: I have had dogs my entire life, so I really understand their social cues (ie. if they're nervous, scared, or on alert), and I am able to easily remove them from uncomfortable situations. I could spend all day every day with dogs. If your dog is with me, you can rest assured that I will love them and treat them as if they were my own. Of course you are your dog's best friend, but I will be their other one. They won't just go on a walk with me; they will receive love, attention, those oh-so-adored behind-the-ear scratches, and probably some kisses, too. I also have a cat, so I am familiar with caring for a cat as well. Pet care is very important to work with because you can work with the dogs in your free time and give them all the attention that they need to be successful in life and well behaved. I have a fenced yard so they can play all they want to and give them the attention that they need and also care for them and play with them and making sure they get there exercise.
