“Our Corgi girl "Liska" had a wonderful time at Tina & John's Chihuahua Ranch while we were out of the country for a month. They were the only ones willing to provide care for such a demanding period and that is also a credit to the type people they are. They both love dogs and it shows everywhere and in everything they do. We were amazed by their work as foster parents for shelter dogs and the level of experience they have doing this work. After our first meet with them, we were confident and very pleased to have found them, lucky actually. This gave us total piece of mind on our trip. Our dog has a history of gastro digestive issues which did occur during her stay, they identified the issue and notified us immediately, even taking her to our Vet with the stool sample and administering the prescribed medications to get her well. That is a level care you can't just get anywhere. Every photo and video clip showed us how happy she was to be staying there with them. I will say with certainty they are the best Rover providers we ever had and we highly recommend Tina & John if you need the best. We have them on our speed dial for future dates and hoping to see them again very soon.”

“I CANNOT say enough good things about both Rick and his fiancé Annemarie! They were God-sent ANGELS for our wedding weekend! We were out of town - all of us were - and really needed someone who could keep Millie for us. Even though they stayed a half hour away, they were above-and-beyond accommodating, staying flexible with our schedule as things changed on our end. They came and picked her up from us, brought her back for rehearsal the same day so my nephew could practice walking her down the aisle, took her back home. They sent me pictures of her and their dog Buckley all throughout the weekend and she looked like she was having fun, getting good sleep and was comfortable. When Annemarie brought Millie to my wedding, she came dressed up to blend in with the other guests and I never heard Millie bark the whole time. She stayed around in the hot heat for pictures so Millie could be in a few pictures with us before taking her back to their home. Finally, they kept her through an extra day for us so we could have a little breather time before we had to pack everything up at our hotel room and head back home. We could not have made it through our wedding weekend without Annemarie and Rick's help. All of their story-sharing about what Millie was up to with Buckley all weekend was so nice to see intermittently as we were busy buzzing about doing our wedding activities. We are so GRATEFUL for everything they did and it's clear Millie was well taken care of and comfortable because she was so calm and relaxed when Rick returned her to us! Truly extra sweet! About: I’ve had cats and dogs my whole life and have experience taking care of family and friends pets too. I have dog sat for my sister who has two special needs dogs that need multiple medications daily, which I had no problem administering. I’m comfortable with cats and taking care of their needs and will change the litter box if necessary. I'm also familiar with chickens and their needs. I currently work from home, Monday through Friday 11am until 9pm but am happy to take care of your pets on my breaks if you live close, before work and weekends. I am very conscious of how cats and dogs like to try to get out of open doors, so I make sure before leaving or entering that I have the doorway blocked to keep them inside. I also make sure that all fences are secured before letting them into the yard to play and potty. I love giving snuggles and scratches to all fur babies, but also understand that some prefer more space than others.

About: My first dog was a Golden Retriever, and I was hooked! I wanted a career working with dogs and was a dog groomer at a boarding facility for 20 years, working with dogs of all sizes, ages, and personality types. Several of my grooming clients also boarded in my home. Personally, I’ve raised puppies and adopted seniors, so have experience with training and administering medications. I’ve started a second career and now work from home. My office has three dog beds, and my little dog is waiting for a friend to come over! My yard is small, but fenced, and I can take the furry friends out as often as they need to go. If your dog prefers a walk-about, I can accommodate that as well. Please note, due to my insurance I cannot accept Staffordshire terriers, pitbulls, or bully mixes of any kind. In addition, although the Rover weight class is 16-40 pounds, I only accept dogs that are 25 pounds or less. I want your dog to feel at home in my home! I’m happy to send you pictures during the day, or FaceTime you. I can administer meds, and will adhere to their own feeding/walking schedule. Because I work from home, your dog will have constant companionship. I have a ten pound Boston Terrier who loves playing with other dogs, but I’m in a three bedroom house, so there’s plenty of space if anyone needs time apart. My dog stays in my office with me when I’m working, and your dog can too! If your fur baby does not need constant supervision they would be free to roam around the house. I also have two crates if needed. My fenced yard is great for potty breaks, and I can also do leash walks, either with my dog or only yours if preferred.
About: I've had a fur baby in my arms since I was a child. Not only did I raise my own, but I've kept my friends, my co-workers and my son's dogs while they were out of town, for a day, a week and sometimes longer. I cared for my son's senior boy while he worked, and then he brought the newest baby to me everyday she when she was a puppy, so she wasn't home alone and I could potty train her with love. I raised our German shepherd with my sons from the time she and my youngest were both just 8 weeks old. When Libby was almost 18 yo we had to have our vet assist her in crossing the rainbow bridge. From there I got my first tiny dog, a little boy named Dexter, Chihuahua 6.6 lbs, and then shortly after I got Danika, Chihuahua 5.5 lbs. They went everywhere with me, vacations, nail salon, shopping. They had a purse they loved to jump right in and 2 booster seats so they were secured safely in my car. I lost Dexter to heart disease at 14 yo and poor little Danika was lost without him. I adopted Lucylle, Chihuahua 6 lbs, she was 2 yo. She was left at the vet by her previous family, that never came back to get her. She was very aggressive towards everyone in the beginning and it took me 3 months of patience and love to bring her out of it. By that time her and Danika were best friends, and loving companions, of course they went everywhere with me. We lost Danika just few months ago, she was 16 yo. That's when I decided to start my journey with Rover, to bring some added joy into mine and Lucylle's life and give other fur babies a safe and loving place to visit when family were away. I retired 04-2024, Lucylle and I have plenty of time on our hands. I bought a patio home, with a nice fenced back yard, where I sit in the morning or anytime during the day/evening and watch Lucylle go out and do her business or just play. We take walks around the neighborhood or down at the walking trail. My neighbors are also dog lovers, they just love little Lucylle. I have a fenced back yard for them to play in with my girl, and I keep a watchful eye on them when they are outside. I can crate your baby if needed, as I do my own sometimes. I have little beds and/or a blanket for them to snuggle when they are napping. Being retired gives me plenty of time for your fur baby (and mine). Caring, playing and loving them as if they were my own.

About: I’ve always had pets growing up, from dogs & horses to rabbits and hamsters. I currently have 3 dogs from 40-65 pounds. My lab is on daily medication so I am comfortable giving your babies meds if needed. My friends and family have always relied on me to take care of of their pets and I’m always willing to! I currently work a full time job Monday through Friday. I go into office one-two days a week so but the rest is wfh! I am willing to workout any needs for the weekend. I prefer crates for your pets until they are more familiar with the environment, if you are not comfortable doing so I will make exceptions. I do have two crates that stay in my home if needed

“I CANNOT say enough good things about both Rick and his fiancé Annemarie! They were God-sent ANGELS for our wedding weekend! We were out of town - all of us were - and really needed someone who could keep Millie for us. Even though they stayed a half hour away, they were above-and-beyond accommodating, staying flexible with our schedule as things changed on our end. They came and picked her up from us, brought her back for rehearsal the same day so my nephew could practice walking her down the aisle, took her back home. They sent me pictures of her and their dog Buckley all throughout the weekend and she looked like she was having fun, getting good sleep and was comfortable. When Annemarie brought Millie to my wedding, she came dressed up to blend in with the other guests and I never heard Millie bark the whole time. Finally, they kept her through an extra day for us so we could have a little breather time before we had to pack everything up at our hotel room and head back home. We could not have made it through our wedding weekend without Annemarie and Rick's help.
