About: I’ve taken care of dogs practically my whole life. It’s one of my greatest passions and most of my life I would dogsit for anyone who would let me growing up. I would love to make sure all of the animals are safe and well cared for while their owners are gone. I currently go to school and work part time, but there is most certainly time for me to fit in helping these families with their animals when they need it. I do live in an apartment complex but I have many years of experience with walking dogs of all kinds so I could walk it when needed. As for as toys, a crate or bedding at my apartment, I don’t have much of that, but could get some if needed.

I had spoken to many people and wasn’t comfortable with anyone as I had my prior dog walker in Ny for over 10 years. I found Tanika and she and I hit it off right away: she was super accommodating to my ever changing schedule. I was nervous to have my one rescue dog meet anyone because he could be unpredictable. Tanika came armed with treats and was relaxed and so easy going with all the dogs that he took to her first!!!! Tanika had been above and beyond amazing . About: I've had at least four dogs as long as I can remember. As a child, they were my first companions and my second caretakers. Even as I grew into an adult, they were always there to comfort me and to brighten the darkest of days. Dogs hold a very special place in my heart and I am eager to give back what they so willingly give; love, acceptance, understanding, comfort, and joy. In the last two years, I have gone from four dogs to one, due to Cancer and Congestive Heart Failure, and I must admit that their absence has affected me deeply. I miss them so so so much!! The only days of the week where I’m out for more than 3 hours is Tuesdays and Thursdays. I am at home otherwise, the more time I have with your pet, the better! I do have two cats, so they will likely be separated from your pets in a boarding situation, but I live next to a dog park so it is easily accessible for pups. I am a teacher from August-May. I teach from 8am-3pm and I have no other obligations outside of that. I am of course willing to provide care before 8am and right when I leave school at 3pm. Both of my dogs are crate trained and friendly towards other dogs. For drop in care, I will follow all required and requested directions from the owner. This includes all feeding, potty, medication, grooming, and play needs!

About: With your pets permission, they will be loved on. Pets in my care will be treated like family. I have been around pets of all kinds my whole life and have pet sat for over 5 years! The only days of the week where I’m out for more than 3 hours is Tuesdays and Thursdays. I am at home otherwise, the more time I have with your pet, the better! I do have two cats, so they will likely be separated from your pets in a boarding situation, but I live next to a dog park so it is easily accessible for pups. I have many cat toys and treat varieties as well.
