From her daily updates, it was clear she took the time to understand Roo’s unique personality and little quirks — something that meant so much to me. Rooster can struggle with separation anxiety, and this was our first Rover experience where, when I arrived to pick her up, she happily greeted me and then immediately went back to playing instead of making a beeline for the car to go home. That alone speaks volumes about how safe, comfortable, and loved she felt in Kimberely's care. Her home is also clean, cozy, and perfectly set up for dogs, with a fenced-in backyard that gives them plenty of space to play and relax. I can’t recommend Kimberely highly enough. About: Hi! I’m Heather — a stay-at-home foster mom, runner, dog lover, and experienced foster/service dog handler based in Batavia, Ohio. After years in corporate recruiting, I’m finally leaning into a life that feels a little more like me — being home with our foster son, spending more time with dogs, being outside, going on walks, and building something slower and more meaningful here in Ohio. Dogs have always been a huge part of my life. I’ve helped foster and raise more than 50 dogs over the years, including service dogs in training, and I’m also a certified volunteer through the Clermont County Animal Shelter where I walk dogs, take dogs on day trips, and foster here in Ohio. Before moving here, I also helped watch and walk dogs for friends, family, neighbors, and foster connections in Minnesota. I genuinely love all breeds and personalities and really enjoy getting to know what makes each dog unique. Since I’m home most of the day, dogs here get lots of supervision, outdoor time, enrichment, walks, naps, snuggles, and attention throughout the day. We also have a fully fenced yard and two friendly Labs that love having dog friends around. I know how hard it can be leaving your dog with someone else, so I’m big on communication and love sending lots of photo updates throughout their stay so you know they’re happy, safe, and loved while you’re away. Dogs receive regular potty breaks, supervised outdoor time, meals on their normal schedule, walks, playtime, and plenty of attention throughout the day. About: I've had pet since my earliest memories. On top of caring for pets of my own, including cats, dogs, reptiles, arachnids, and more, I also fostered animals in southern Indiana for 5+ years. I have never had to leave her with anyone else who wasn’t a family member and was so nervous to try rover. But after meeting Avery I felt so comfortable leaving Dodo with her and will 1000% use her every time now for dog sitting while we are gone.. we love her so much. About: I have been pet sitting since I was in high school. I have experience in dog walking, watching pets at my home or theirs, and volunteering at local shelters. I'm currently working full time, so I am available nights and weekends to board your pet. This is to ensure that I can give your pet the attention they deserve! I have a huge fenced in yard and also 5 dogs of my own, so your pet will surely get lots of love and exercise at my home!
“Matthew was amazing. I’ve only had Oakley for two weeks and am still getting to know his habits, on top of the fact that he is already 85 lbs, but none of that bothered Matthew. He sent daily pictures and confirmed that all was going well. He is very relaxed and Oakley got along very well with his three dogs. Matthew has a very large backyard and a 100’ lead that was great for Oakley since he loves to just lay outside. I highly recommend Matthew and will be using him again.”
