About: I have had dogs and cats in my life for over 50 years. I was so lucky to grow up in a home that was the local Noah’s Arc. This childhood formed my commitment and love to animals. About 20 years ago, I decided to enter the world of pure bred dogs and have been an avid exhibitor and breeder of Pointers and Ridgebacks focused always on good temperaments and health. I love dogs and really believe it’s important that each animal I care for, feels at home, comfortable, pampered, exercised and loved. I have 4 dogs that are super casual and it has been very easy to bring animals into my home. I will only take 1 or 2 dogs at a time, as I want to be able to provide the best care possible for them. Your animals are treated as though they are mine and the care and love they will experience can only be exceeded by you. It’s always stressful for animals to be away from their families, so the more I can do to relieve this stress, the better I feel. I always tease my clients that their dogs may come home a little spoiled. I’m very much available all day really to take care of the dogs as my schedule is very flexible. In addition my brother lives with me and he helps me take care of the dogs. There is always a person at our house while your dog will be visiting. I also offer a military discount for those that have or are serving our beautiful country. About: We've owned and cared for dogs for over 35 years. Our first dogs were a Lab and a Golden Retriever then a Pug and a Puggle and now the parents of a Lab/Husky mix. We provide loving care with plenty of exercise in our non-smoking, fenced home. We live one block from Jacobson Park and its wonderful dog parks so rest assured your fur baby will receive plenty of attention, exercise, fun and love during its stay. I work from home and my spouse is a stay at home spouse, so we are available to provide constant care, exercise, play time and supervision for your fur baby. Our fenced yard and quiet cul de sac on a golf course and located a block from 2 dog parks is a great place for your dog to stretch its legs and play to its heart's desire.
