She was able to socialize, play, and experience all the normal puppy things we hoped she could have in a safe and loving environment. “So glad Hannah and I found Sarah! She was wonderful with Hannah, and I can already tell Hannah loves her. My pup usually takes a little longer to warm up to people, so I was really happy when Hannah went to Sarah pretty quickly during our very first meet up. Sarah knew exactly how to approach Hannah and, more importantly, knew when to give her space and let Hannah come to her. Before long, Hannah walked right over to Sarah on her own! I jokingly called Sarah the “dog whisperer” because she just seemed to know exactly what Hannah needed. Sarah was also great about sending photos and keeping me updated, and she let me know anything I might want to know while Hannah was in her care. That gave me such peace of mind! About: I have dog sat and walked for family and friends for years. I am the mom of a mini schnauzer Loki and cat Sylvie. Animals bring so much joy into the world and I try to bring joy into their days as much as I can! I am an Athletic Trainer at a local high school. I work evenings so have the whole morning free. About: As far as cats go, I have experience bathing, brushing, and trimming nails. As well as bathing and brushing for dogs. I also have experience administering liquid and pill medicine for both cats and dogs. :) I am the parent of a lazy domestic short hair cat named Eddie. I’ve had him for about four years and before Mr. Eddie, I’ve helped in providing care for many cats and dogs of all different breeds for family and friends. I feed Eddie twice a day (morning and night) and refill his water fountain every morning. Litter is changed every other day. He has two cat towers and more toys than I can count. He enjoys playing with other cats and has no problem sharing his space. As for pets in others homes I follow routines exactly as instructed.

About: I have had dogs and cats in my life for over 50 years. I was so lucky to grow up in a home that was the local Noah’s Arc. This childhood formed my commitment and love to animals. About 20 years ago, I decided to enter the world of pure bred dogs and have been an avid exhibitor and breeder of Pointers and Ridgebacks focused always on good temperaments and health. I love dogs and really believe it’s important that each animal I care for, feels at home, comfortable, pampered, exercised and loved. I have 4 dogs that are super casual and it has been very easy to bring animals into my home. I will only take 1 or 2 dogs at a time, as I want to be able to provide the best care possible for them. Your animals are treated as though they are mine and the care and love they will experience can only be exceeded by you. It’s always stressful for animals to be away from their families, so the more I can do to relieve this stress, the better I feel. I always tease my clients that their dogs may come home a little spoiled. I’m very much available all day really to take care of the dogs as my schedule is very flexible. In addition my brother lives with me and he helps me take care of the dogs. There is always a person at our house while your dog will be visiting. I also offer a military discount for those that have or are serving our beautiful country. I do not work outside of the home, which provides me with a lot of flexibility to provide dedicated care to your pets all day. I think it's important dogs that stay at my house receive the same amount of attention as they would at home and as my dogs do. About: I was born into an animal-loving family and I have continued to instill this love for animals in my own children. I have had a menagerie of animals all of my life. At the young age of 12, I started walking the neighbors' dogs and going to their houses when they were out of town to feed, water, and walk their pets. In college, I worked part-time in several different veterinary clinics. I am still very well connected to the veterinary world so if I am unsure of something involving my pets, I am able to reach out to get an answer pretty quickly. Over my lifetime of 40 yrs. I have had at least 20 dogs, 10 cats, several rabbits, horses, chinchillas, guinea pigs, hamsters, and a few reptiles (but no snakes). In my full-time job, I have a hybrid work schedule. Some days I am in the office and some days I work from home. This allows some flexibility when caring for fur babies. My family also helps care for our "animal guests". It is a group effort! I have a 1/2 acre that is fenced. I have 3 dogs- a Newfoundland, Black Lab, and a Beagle. All of my dogs are rescues. I know that I rescued them but as cheesy as it sounds, most days I feel like they rescued me. Each of them has their own personality, which I love. My dogs are usually always by my side when I am home. My dogs love to jump on the bed or couch and get snuggles. I also have 3 cats. All of them found us. They were all dumped on us and of course, I couldn't turn them away. :) I would treat your animals the same way I treat mine- with love and snuggles.

Animals bring so much joy into the world and I try to bring joy into their days as much as I can! I am an Athletic Trainer at a local high school. I work evenings so have the whole morning free. I love exercise and often walk my own dog 4-5 times a day. I have lived with dogs my whole life. I know how to feed, walk, and love a dog. I will treat your furr babies like they are my own. I will give them plenty of love, I will play with them, and get all their energy out!

About: I've helped take care of dogs for friends and family since I graduated from college in 2016. I'm a thoroughbred jockey currently off riding due to injury, and apprenticing to become a dog trainer. I have multiple friends that train dogs professionally, my personal dog sees multiple trainers regularly, and I learn new things every day. From obedience to behavior to nutrition, I value all of the practical use, knowledge, and love I can apply to any dog I get the opportunity to work with! At home, I have two lovely house cats and one rambunctious puppy. My cats like their space and will ask for love when they want it. My puppy needs structure in his day to balance activity, learning, enrichment, and rest. I am more than comfortable providing the kind of care any client wants for their furry family members. Whether that's daily enrichment, getting out in the world, or learning an off switch at home. I'm familiar with excited jumping on guests and earning trust from nervous or shy animals. I have Ruffland crash tested kennels in my car and can provide enrichment and new adventures if requested! If you don't have a fenced area around your home, and you are comfortable with it, I do have 20ft long lines I can use so the dogs get a chance to be outside to play and do their business while also ensuring their safety. I've always been an animal lover, and now that I have free time in my life, I want to provide knowledge and time for other animals and their humans that need a helping hand.
About: I have cared for animals of all kinds ranging from ferrets and bunnies to horses and large dogs, several of which had various medical needs and requirements. I also have experience in basic training for dogs if a training regimen is required. I am currently waiting for the fall semester for college to start so I have lots of free time to devote to the care and safety of your animals. We lost her brother, Charlie, a couple years ago to cancer. He was a black lab pit mix and the best light to your day! We reached out on extremely short notice for an overnight stay for our deaf, likely vision-impaired, fearful bully mix puppy, and Ashley and her family welcomed her into their home with open arms and all the chew goats she could imagine. They have several amazing dogs of their own, which ended up being such a great experience for our puppy. She was able to socialize, play, and experience all the normal puppy things we hoped she could have in a safe and loving environment. Honestly, I think she may have been more comfortable there than she is at our home! She did so well there. Their house is incredibly dog-friendly. Their dogs are clearly part of the family, and they gave our puppy so much patience, love, and reassurance even though she can be nervous, unsure, or reactive at times. Their backyard is basically a dream setup for dogs, with room to relieve themselves, run and play safely. I got so many updates and photos of my dog smiling and having an amazing time with their pups and getting naps. She had such a good time! I truly cannot recommend Ashley highly enough.
