About: We have been fostering dogs for over 3 years, but we've had dogs our entire life. Fostered BIG, small, seniors, puppies, special needs and dogs that require post-operative care or just need a quiet place for a while. We help them find their forever home by teaching basic skills like potty training, sit/stay and socializing which increases their chances to be adopted. We live in Frankfort KY but Kelley works in Louisville KY a few days a week. Depending on dates and times, we'd would love to help you and your fur baby! We live on an acreage and have half an acre fenced! Kelley slept on a friend's couch just so her cat wouldn't be lonely one time. Dave is retired and Kelley commutes Monday & Tuesday to Louisville. We have a half acre fenced! Dogs are allowed on furniture. We have sunny rooms. We have baby pools to cool off in and the door is usually open. We also have a split level with a cement patio allowing additional space if needed.

About: I was born into an animal-loving family and I have continued to instill this love for animals in my own children. I have had a menagerie of animals all of my life. At the young age of 12, I started walking the neighbors' dogs and going to their houses when they were out of town to feed, water, and walk their pets. In college, I worked part-time in several different veterinary clinics. I am still very well connected to the veterinary world so if I am unsure of something involving my pets, I am able to reach out to get an answer pretty quickly. Over my lifetime of 40 yrs. I have had at least 20 dogs, 10 cats, several rabbits, horses, chinchillas, guinea pigs, hamsters, and a few reptiles (but no snakes). In my full-time job, I have a hybrid work schedule. Some days I am in the office and some days I work from home. This allows some flexibility when caring for fur babies. My family also helps care for our "animal guests". It is a group effort! I have a 1/2 acre that is fenced. I have 3 dogs- a Newfoundland, Black Lab, and a Beagle. All of my dogs are rescues. I know that I rescued them but as cheesy as it sounds, most days I feel like they rescued me. Each of them has their own personality, which I love. My dogs are usually always by my side when I am home. My dogs love to jump on the bed or couch and get snuggles. I also have 3 cats. All of them found us. They were all dumped on us and of course, I couldn't turn them away. :) I would treat your animals the same way I treat mine- with love and snuggles.

I will take care of your home & fur-babies like they're my own! I believe dogs need play, but what that looks like depends on the age/ breed. I don't feed pets a lot of people food and I do make dogs mind. I take dogs out for potty on leash only, so your dog will need to be polite, and I can assist in training as needed. I'm not currently working so I'm available and want to engage with your fur babies! I can do what your pet likes, whether that means playing or cuddling, I let the animals steer the activities. I make sure your babies entertained so they aren't bored and destructive. I spend time scratching ears, petting, and loving on animals I watch so they feel secure and adored.

I’ve helped friends with their dogs/cats/rabbits/guinea pigs while they are away on vacation. I'm keen on walking dogs twice a day and taking them hiking, to the pond, or for mini adventures around the park! My previous jobs have been in two veterinary hospitals (one of which included Banfield) as a veterinary assistant. I can give your pet the best possible care! I’m currently a proud owner of a a cute Ragdoll cat and a labrador retriever. About: I’ve been around and taken care of dogs my entire life. They’re my constant companions. My wife and I currently have four dogs of varying age. We’ve been raising a Black Lab puppy this year since moving back to Frankfort and it has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. I’m currently job searching after moving back to town so I have plenty of time to take care of your pets, anytime, days or evenings. I’ve taken many dogs into my home to be taken care of for extended stays from friends and family. It is always a delight. They have a sprawling indoor/outdoor environment so I don’t think they mind too much either. It has never been trouble to me to care for their pets in their own home either.
About: As far as cats go, I have experience bathing, brushing, and trimming nails. As well as bathing and brushing for dogs. I also have experience administering liquid and pill medicine for both cats and dogs. :) I am the parent of a lazy domestic short hair cat named Eddie. I’ve had him for about three years and before Mr. Eddie, I’ve helped in providing care for many cats and dogs of all different breeds for family and friends. I feed Eddie twice a day (morning and night) and refill his water fountain every morning. Litter is changed every other day. He has two cat towers and more toys than I can count. He enjoys playing with other cats and has no problem sharing his space. As for pets in others homes I follow routines exactly as instructed.

About: I have been animal/house/farm sitting for friends and family ever since high school. I am experienced with training puppies and taking care of senior dogs. I am currently in a graduate program so some weeks I will have no free time at all and others I’ll have an entire week free. Every day for me is different but I am very good with working around my schedule. I have house sat for multiple people and I am very respectful of others’ belongings and always clean up after myself and/or the animals that I am watching after.

About: I have a very anxious senior dog who I love caring for. I am able to handle all needs of your fur babies from medical needs to just your typical potty break. I am an elementary special education teacher. This causes for my schedule to be limited to evenings and weekends. I will have some day availability some weeks and in the summer. I can easily crate your dog if needed. I can take your fur baby on walks with or without a harness. I can cover their food and water needs.
