“I wish I could give Jeannette more than 5 stars! Jeannette agreed to watch our indoor/outdoor cat and keep an eye on our chickens while we were away. I had no idea she had never been around chickens before—you would never have guessed! We had a hen sitting on a nest and had calculated that the eggs would hatch after we got home... we were wrong! While we were away, several chicks started hatching. Jeannette didn't panic—she jumped right in. She went out and bought supplies, made sure the chicks were cared for, and handled everything like a pro, even hatching 4 chicks at her house. She also completely won over our cat, who now seems to love her more than us! Jeannette went so far above and beyond anything we expected. She treated our pets as if they were her own, kept us updated, and gave us complete peace of mind while we were gone. I recommend her with my highest recommendation. If you're looking for someone who truly cares and will go the extra mile, Jeannette is the one!”
About: I’ve had pets my entire life, so I love to help take care of them and love on them! I’ve also looked after plenty of animals for family and friends when they’re out of town, with one family friend having me come back to dog sit for them for the last three years! Right now, I’m home from college for the summer, and don’t have a job, so my schedule is pretty free unless I have an appointment or other things going on on a certain day! I don’t offer boarding for pets in my own home unfortunately, but for my clients, I will make sure all their needs are met and more, playing with them and making sure they’re doing great before I leave for the day.

About: I have taken care of a wide variation of dog breeds from a very young age. I grew up with multiple dogs in the house at all time. I also had K9 dogs in the house so I am experience in reactive dogs and know how to handle them. My dad trains dogs for police work and I help him with taking care of the dogs and training. About: We've got a great love for animals of all kind! We have 7 1/2 acres of land so plenty of room to run and play. About: I spent my whole life around cats and dogs. I even helped take care of neighbor pets when they were out of town. We are an active family so being outside a lot is important and we love to share that with animals. I do not have a fenced yard at my house, I always stay with my puppy weather on leads or ecollar. We have an electric fence but I ensure nothing can come into our yard(other animals, people etc). If we do not use the electric fence we use a long lead. At a clients home if they have a fenced yard I would still never leave an animal unattended, that’s just me personally. I would love to spend time with your pets outside, maybe we can play a little or if your fur babies just wanna soak up some sun and relax, I’m here for it all! If the client does not have a fenced yard I would use a long lead or regular leash and never leave the pup pup unattended. For safety both in my own home or clients I utilize a crate if necessary, and positive reinforcement for good behavior! I also have experience with muzzles and other tools(collars, leads, head leads, etc) Its not only about protecting me and others but to ensure the safety of the animal as well. I am a volunteer at the Kentucky Humane Society and have very good experience with your babies needs, management, handling, and of course love!! I have a lot of experience with older animals with giving insulin etc. And house sit for others frequently. I work Friday and Saturday so I will not be available then but Monday through Thursday I’m available after 12:30 due to class in the morning. I understand how important the safety and environment is for your baby. Making sure that no other animals (that they are not familiar with) are present is very important in maintaining safety.
