About: Hi! I’m a college student with 7+ years of hands-on animal experience, I live in a home with 6 dogs and grew up surrounded by pets my whole life. Dogs and cats have always been a huge part of my life, and I genuinely love giving them attention, care, and comfort while their owners are away. About: Growing up, outside of school I spent a good portion of my free time volunteering at a local animal shelter and actively challenging kids around me to help provide care to pets in most need. About: I have helped raise a bottle fed kitten and cared for a senior beagle in his last year. I care for and adopt mostly adult dogs, but I haven't met one I don't like! I work from home, so my schedule is flexible to fit in lots of home visits with overnight stay possible! I have my own dog that goes out 3 times a day already, so fitting in pet care is a breeze! I have an apartment with 2 bedrooms where dogs can sleep separate from my own dog. My complex is very dog friendly with all pets on leash, and large areas to sniff and poop as well as a park & track in walking distance.

About: I am a doctoral candidate in Biology at UofL, so you know I'm good at organization and scheduling! I think my time as a graduate student has sharpened my reasoning and communication skills as well. It's also increased my animal handling experience (mice)! I've had pets my whole life, mostly cats and dogs. My most recent pet is an elderly shi tzu with a surprising amount of energy! Apollo is a very skiddish cat, but we've definitely earned each others' trust. I can drop by to check on your pet, take them out for a walk (if weekday, must be before 10am or after 5pm, can be flexible), check on them periodically to feed them, or house sit (weekends only). I am a grad student, so I'm usually busy during weekdays 10am-5pm. Most of my work now is away from the bench, so I can be a little flexible about those hours Weekends are generally open! I love in an apartment that doesn't allow animals so I can't keep any here. I can however watch your furry friend at your house or take them on walks around the neighborhood!
