Dogs and cats have always been a huge part of my life, and I genuinely love giving them attention, care, and comfort while their owners are away. About: I have helped raise a bottle fed kitten and cared for a senior beagle in his last year. I care for and adopt mostly adult dogs, but I haven't met one I don't like! I work from home, so my schedule is flexible to fit in lots of home visits with overnight stay possible! I have my own dog that goes out 3 times a day already, so fitting in pet care is a breeze! I have an apartment with 2 bedrooms where dogs can sleep separate from my own dog. My complex is very dog friendly with all pets on leash, and large areas to sniff and poop as well as a park & track in walking distance.

Over the years, I’ve raised four dogs of my own, fostered 8 dogs for three different rescue organizations in Kentucky and Ohio, and continue to volunteer with local rescues. Apollo is a very skiddish cat, but we've definitely earned each others' trust. I am a grad student, so I'm usually busy during weekdays 10am-5pm. Most of my work now is away from the bench, so I can be a little flexible about those hours Weekends are generally open! “I am so glad I found Dan. She took amazing care of our dog in her home while we were on vacation. I was so relieved to know he was getting the same amount (if not more haha!) of attention, love, and activity as we give him. She took him on long walks, played with him at the park, gave him extra treats, and even bathed him when he got a little dirty playing outside. Dan sent us plenty of photos and videos while we were gone. I will use Dan any time we are out of town again and I couldn't recommend her enough!”
