About: Hello. I am a lifetime dog and cat owner. I have had rabbits and other small animals too. I have experience with puppies, adult and senior dogs, as well as cats. I had a golden retriever from 8 weeks old until he died at 14. I went through all the stages with him. I have taken care of dogs and cats for many friends over the years, and am an approved foster for LMAS. I work full time but my work is close and I am home most of the time at night, and lots on the weekends. I crate my dogs while at work for their safety and so they don’t bark and disturb the neighbors, as we have a dog door to the back yard. My dogs eat morning and night but I can also do an afternoon feed at 4 PM. I can walk dogs before and after work, and they can use the dog door and yard whenever I am home. My children and I will provide lots of pets, scratches and cuddles. Dogs will get walks and access to the fenced backyard. I have two adult dogs to play with but dogs can be kept separate if needed. I can provide most anything that is required to keep your dog safe, happy and healthy. I can do the same for cats. I have a gate that keeps the dogs out of the cat part of the house when needed.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs for well over 4 years and have had the pleasure of watching some of the sweetest pups. I’ve dealt with dogs on a schedule, some who require medication and those who need some extra snuggles. I will take the time to learn the care your pet deserves. I work a full time job during the weeks but will ensure all pets are taken out before I leave and return as soon as possible to allow them to be taken out again, I spend my afternoons with the dogs and try to provide enrichment play so they don’t get bored. I’m available all day on weekends so the same things goes. I normally stay with at a clients home to ensure dogs have minimal stress dealing with new environments. I follow any schedule my client has given me, from early morning walks at a dog park or allowing them to roam their fenced in yard while I prepare any food or water that is left while I’m away. I enjoy playing with them in the afternoons and getting them tired and rewarding them with treats when necessary.
About: Whether it was my own cat or someone else's, I've taken care of cats which needed oral meds, flea meds, combing, nail trims. I'm currently learning how to give my own cat B-12 injections. I have also given her a bath with one of those "bags" you put them into. ;-) I often held a previous roommate's cat while she gave it fluids. I believe in scooping litter boxes 2x/day unless you're using non-scoopable litter, then just 1x/day. I like to clean out & disinfect litter boxes 1x/week. I provide fresh bowls 1x/day, fresh water & food 2x/day & treats as the owner deems appropriate. ;-) If the cat has a stroller it can be taken out in, I like to do that. I like to use toys or a ball to play with cats. I also give lots of pets & cuddles. We may even take a nap together! :-)

About: While staying with me all pets will be catered to by what they want to do. Have a lazy dog? We’ll sit and cuddle while watching movies. Have a high energy dog? My boys will be willing to play all day long until they’re tired. All dogs staying with us will take daily walks with around my neighborhood (if they’re up for it). Your dog(s) will have lots of fun either lazing around or with Ozzie running around the back yard or in the house. I have a huge bowl of water I keep outside for them for when they get thirsty and soon might get a little pool soon for some dogs that like water to play in for summer. (If any pet staying gets dirty a complimentary bath will be given) I am available for boarding during most of the year unless I don’t show up on the search (I do travel a lot). I really hope you choose to trust your pet to me while you’re gone! (Any damages caused by client pets must be reimbursed by pet parent) I work from home so that makes it easy to always be able to keep an eye on any animal staying with me. There’s a baby gate in the hallways as well that gives them a bit of room to play and spread out. At my own home when out for play or for a potty break all animals are monitored in the back yard. About: Although we currently only have one female dog, we have nearly always had 2 large dogs (Chesapeake bay retrievers) for the past 20 years. We lost our big guy in April 2024 and haven't had it in us to get another. So, we are ready to share our home and yard with your pup! I currently stay home with my two year old human and 7 year old dog. So, your dog will rarely ever be alone while boarded. We mostly just leave for my older kids sports events. I have a fully fenced acre for a backyard. It's a dog's paradise! I also have a female 7yo Chesapeake who is good with other dogs. I can keep dogs separate as needed. We have fostered before and had 0 issues. We generally keep dogs separated until they have proven compatible. She sleeps with our son. So, your dog could sleep with me. We have three kids, ages 2, 11, and 13. So, if you have a kid loving dog, we want to watch them!

I love taking them on walks also so we both get exercise 😀 we can also use a crate if you are comfortable and want to bring your own.

In our house, our pups are like family and yours will be welcomed with open arms. In addition to my two, I also foster for The KY Humane Society which has given me plenty of experience with puppies, senior dogs, giving meds and tending to your pups every need. Your dog will be cared for like one of our own! I work from home so your pup will very rarely be alone. If your dog has separation anxiety, then I am the perfect sitter for you! Our current feeding schedule is 8:00 and 6, so please let me know if your pup needs a different schedule. Unfortunately, I am not able to accommodate free feeding, so your pup will be on a feeding schedule while they are in my care. I require meet and greets for any new clients. I want to meet you and your pup(s) and I want you to meet mine. Even if you have the friendliest dog, not all dogs will vibe, so this step is important. **Meet and greets can be waived for dogs under 6 months but am happy to have one if that is your preference. We have a large, fenced in back yard as well as live in a safe, quiet, dog-friendly neighborhood. In our house, there is no furniture off limits. Your pups will be welcome to sleep on the bed, on the couch, or on the floor. If you prefer your dog crated at night, we can do that too! My house is set up to host dogs in the safest way possible. This includes multiple safety gates for feeding times or some alone time for your pup to chew on bones or toys. I will accompany your dog(s) on any potty breaks outside that include my dogs. My dogs are also crated when I leave to ensure everyone's safety. Both of my girls are vaccinated to boarding standards and I would prefer yours be too! This helps to keep all our pups safe! **I am happy to provide their vaccination records upon request. If you have additional concerns, please let me know and we can discuss.
About: I grew up in an animal-friendly household among big dogs, small dogs, cats, hamsters, fish, lizards, ferrets, you name it! I have experience with animals of all ages, abilities, and temperaments and strive to do what I can to keep them happy and comfortable! I am a full time college student pursuing music, so I will have the occasional concert that makes me unavailable, but I often have the weekend free or evenings/nights/early mornings. I definitely strive to leave everything in a client’s home just as I left it, besides a happy and/or well-fed dog, cat, or other furry or scaly creature. As long as I know where to locate the food, bowls, leash/harness, and/or backyard I’m good!

About: Hello. I am a lifetime dog and cat owner. I have had rabbits and other small animals too. I have experience with puppies, adult and senior dogs, as well as cats. I had a golden retriever from 8 weeks old until he died at 14. I went through all the stages with him. I have taken care of dogs and cats for many friends over the years, and am an approved foster for LMAS. I work full time but my work is close and I am home most of the time at night, and lots on the weekends. I crate my dogs while at work for their safety and so they don’t bark and disturb the neighbors, as we have a dog door to the back yard. My dogs eat morning and night but I can also do an afternoon feed at 4 PM. I can walk dogs before and after work, and they can use the dog door and yard whenever I am home. My children and I will provide lots of pets, scratches and cuddles. Dogs will get walks and access to the fenced backyard. I have two adult dogs to play with but dogs can be kept separate if needed. I can provide most anything that is required to keep your dog safe, happy and healthy. I can do the same for cats. I have a gate that keeps the dogs out of the cat part of the house when needed.
