About: I have taken care of dogs my whole life including small to large dogs. I am not a professional trainer but I have experience in training my own fur babies. My work is flexible where I can drop in for visits, take them out walking or just spend time playing with them. I can also board them, so that you can have a stress free vacation. They will have a fenced yard to play in and two buddies to play with. I will send lots of pictures and updates. To ensure safety, please have all vaccinations up to date and send me a copy, if possible. About: Although we currently only have one female dog, we have nearly always had 2 large dogs (Chesapeake bay retrievers) for the past 20 years. We lost our big guy in April 2024 and haven't had it in us to get another. So, we are ready to share our home and yard with your pup! I currently stay home with my two year old human and 7 year old dog. So, your dog will rarely ever be alone while boarded. We mostly just leave for my older kids sports events. I have a fully fenced acre for a backyard. It's a dog's paradise! I also have a female 7yo Chesapeake who is good with other dogs. I can keep dogs separate as needed. We have fostered before and had 0 issues. We generally keep dogs separated until they have proven compatible. She sleeps with our son. So, your dog could sleep with me. I was a bit hesitant at first handing over my babies to someone we didn't know, especially because they can be a handful at times, but Isaac has really put me at ease. He is so patient with them and shows a caring attitude. One of our babies can be a bit rambunctious sometimes and Isaac has shown his willingness to work with her when needed. And again, his patience! He takes time to try and reinforce commands while on the walks, makes me feel comfortable handing over my babies to him. “Stephie is friendly reliable and knowledgeable. When my dog came down with a stomach bug she communicated with me and was very patient with him. I love how she sent me multiple pictures everyday and kept me up to date on his daily activities. They have a fenced in back yard and plenty of space. Her home is also super clean. “Sydney had such a good time vacationing with Melody and her family - Melody sent us daily pictures and updates about how she was doing and I had no worries whatsoever the whole time we were away. She ate well and was given her insulin injections twice daily without any issues, which is a wonderful as sometimes she doesn't eat as well when she is staying away from home. I highly recommend Melody to anyone who needs a furry family member sitter and I certainly plan to be calling her again the next time Sydney plans a vacation.”
