“I can only really know how things went for my cat Teacup when she is boarded by how she behaves once she’s back home. After her 2 night stay with Natasha she seemed happy to be home, but otherwise very calm. Unlike other times when she meowed non-stop for 2 days as if she were trying to tell me all was not as it should have been. This time she hardly meowed at all. Natasha and her 2 daughters seem comfortable with both cats and dogs which of course reassures their guests that they are safe and loved. For Teacup that is everything. I think Teacup wouldn’t mind a return visit in the future. I can recommend Natasha for cat boarding.”

I can say with utmost confidence that I wouldn't have enjoyed my vacation as much as I did without Tessa's help. Nymeria's not been around many people other than myself, so I knew it'd be difficult for her to adjust to someone else, but Tessa was incredibly patient and understanding with her. She never tried to push Nymeria's boundaries and always made sure each visit was as stress free as possible. Even though the area where I live was going through nasty weather, Tessa made sure I got to see some photos and videos of my cat each day during her visit. About: I’ve had dogs since I was a kid. I’ve cared for friends and families dogs of all sizes and ages. I currently have a female American bully but in the past I’ve had English mastiffs, pit bulls, and a border collie. I enjoy high energy dogs that love to run and play as well as older dogs that just want to play around and be loved on. I’m currently on summer break. I am an athlete at Eastern Kentucky University and have required practices every day but I’m gone no longer than 3 hours per day. I currently live in an apartment with a dog park on site I also have one friendly and very active pup to keep yours company. I will always be outside with the pups they are never out there alone.

About: I have over 10 years of pet care experience! I am a responsible pet owner of (3) small dogs. I do have basic training experience and have crate trained all three of my dogs successfully (after many sleepless nights of course). I work from home full-time so I am always at home and available for drop ins, doggy day care, or boarding! My house has a fenced in yard and all three of my dogs are up to date on vaccinations, including Bordetella. I also walk our dogs daily (weather permitting) so you can ensure your little one will get exercise, if they would like it that is! Even when my schedule is busy I still usually have time to step away for pet care! I care for the pets in my home by keeping a watchful eye over them. My dogs are on different medications (for allergies), so I am well versed on giving oral medications if needed as well. About: I’ve been an avid animal lover since I was a kid. I have worked with and been around a wide variety of animals including cats, dogs, chickens, ducks, rabbits, fish, ferrets and more. Not only do my own animals rely on me for quality care, I have had the pleasure of caring for other animals while friends and family are away. During services I will make sure to closely monitor your pets, keep them leashed while not in a fenced in area, keep away from road ways and other - potentially dangerous animals. I would also ensure timely medication, feeding, and watering schedules.

Note: I’m no longer able to offer boarding services. One of my own sweet boys is getting up in years—he’s a little more fragile, and a little less patient than he once was, and I worry that boarding a stranger would cause him a lot of unnecessary stress. I work from home — this allows me some flexibility and the ability to customize my breaks and lunch based on the needs of my clients. When caring for pets in the home of my clients, it’s important to remember that the little one that I’m caring for is likely stressed because their mom and/or dad are gone, and there is a stranger (me) in their home. With that in mind, I typically spend more time with them than what is required by Rover because they need the extra time to feel comfortable with me. I take time to try to get to know them and help them feel more at ease. I treat them with the same amount of compassion I want for my own!

About: I've been working with dogs since I was 9 years old. It started at a summer camp located at my local shelter and at home with our own dogs. At 18 I helped foster 2-week-old kittens that were born in our front yard and abandoned by their mom. I have worked with many different dogs and have been house sitting since I was 16 years old with different types of dogs and different care levels, from needing to give elderly dogs medication to hyper puppies who need lots of play time. I fit in Pet care into my daily routine by waking up at a specific time every morning to take care my own dog out for a morning potty break, then it is breakfast time, then an hour after is a morning walk, after I have lunch is a shorter afternoon walk and before dinner is an evening walk, with several potty breaks scattered reasonably every 3 hours to make sure. Sometimes I take my own dog on small hikes or to the dog park to get some more socialization in. Outside of my hobbies and schooling pet care is my life. This does depend on what I am hired for, if I am hired for potty breaks and play time then I do just that, I arrive at the home, let the dog out to go potty, take a walk play with some toys. If I am housesitting, then I follow the schedule the owners have their dogs on as to not disrupt the dog's stability.

After her 2 night stay with Natasha she seemed happy to be home, but otherwise very calm. Unlike other times when she meowed non-stop for 2 days as if she were trying to tell me all was not as it should have been. This time she hardly meowed at all. Natasha and her 2 daughters seem comfortable with both cats and dogs which of course reassures their guests that they are safe and loved. For Teacup that is everything. I think Teacup wouldn’t mind a return visit in the future. I can recommend Natasha for cat boarding.”
