About: Craig and I have had a dogs since age ten. As an adults, we have continued to always have a dog (Spike, 7 lb). We also foster for Bonaparte's Retreat, 42 dogs and counting over the past 22 years. We have fostered special needs (blind, deaf, surgery recovery, special medical needs: pill schedule. We only take small/med breeds. Never more than 2-3 dogs at one time. We like them to have plenty of individual care and attention. They have the run of the house. We are retired and home with our pet guests. We have 5 acres for long walks and a large fenced in back yard. We even have a ramp for pups with issues going up/down stairs to the back yard. Staying with us is like going to Gramma's for the weekend. (some even choose share our bed at night, and that is ok) Available 7 days a week, we are retired. Enjoy walks, play time in the secured/fenced yard. We enjoy time on the porch on nice days barking at the squirrels and having treats. Pet sitting in our home. We have a 14 year old boy, 7 lbs, Spike. We have 5 acres for long walks, stairs and a ramp for pets to get to the fenced back yard area. We are retired and home with our pet guests during their stay. My aunt had 3 dogs so whenever I could I would watch them and stay there for a week at a time when she was out of town I fed them walked them even had to bathe them when they got into dirt. About: I have over 30 years of pet care experience, taking care of puppies and kittens through senior dogs and cats. I don’t have children and consider my pets my children! You will have no worries while you are away from them. I have been there and understand what it’s like to be away from my pets and worrying that the people that I asked to look after my pets won’t get there on time to let them out or will forget and not feed them or give them water or scoop their litter box. About: I have cared for pets since I was double digits. I have had hamsters, fish, cats, and dogs. Dogs are my favorite, though. It doesn't matter what breed; they are all unique in their own way and beautiful as well. I have personally owned a Rotti (Rocco), Husky mix (Mercedes), English Bulldog (Diesel), Frenchies (Kingston & Khloe), and now a pocket bully (Oakley) and English Bulldog (Lola). We have a fenced-in yard in the back. We live in a quiet subdivision out in the country with sidewalks and other friendly dogs. Our home is dog-proofed in the sense that we have a dog gate, multiple dog beds throughout the house downstairs, and two bins of dog toys. We also keep plenty of treats for training and snacks.

About: I’ve had a dog since early childhood, as well as four cats. I have personally had one cat that I exclusively took care off, I assisted with childhood dog care, and had several reptiles of varying species in teenage years.
