“This was our first experience with Rover and therefore our first experience with Sam. We just have to say we could not be more pleased. We were visiting in Hutchinson, KS and our dog Elmer stayed overnight with Sam, his roommate and Trapper, a high energy, playful and very friendly dog. The two dogs meshed well wonderfully and got “lots of exercise” and play time. This was Elmer’s first night away from us as he is a recent adoptee and apparently he didn’t seem to miss us one bit. Sam was great about sending frequent updates and pictures while hosting Elmer which really helped alleviate any concerns we had. About: I’ve been a pet owner my entire life. My sweet Charlie crossed the rainbow bridge in 2025, but when he was here he loved being a pal to all doggos and kiggies. Honoring his memory, I will care for your sweet critter with the same love and attention I have always shown to all creatures. I have one cat, who is aloof, but peaceful. Fenced yard, kiddie pool in the summer, and I am totally okay if your baby needs to dig a hole in the yard. This is a safe space for critters to be their authentic selves. I’m work during the week, so I am only available Friday after 5pm through Sunday at 9pm. I don’t go out on the weekends, so I’m totally dialed in to seeing to your pet’s needs for pottying, walkies, snuggles, and anything else that helps them cope with having their human be absent for brief times. I have a large fenced yard. The grass is soft, but I’m okay with them getting a lil diggy time in if needed. The neighborhood is safe and there is a beautiful park nearby for walkies. I also have a pet stroller if your furry fren needs the accommodation.

About: I have cared for animals all of my life. Primarily dogs and cats with some bottle calves here and there :). I have cared for cats and dogs of all ages and sizes. I also have experience in potty and kennel training. I have a strong love of animals and enjoy spreading the love and affection to every one I come across. Friends and family have frequently referred to me as the dog whisperer as every dog I come across tends to take to me very quickly. I have always treated my pets as part of the family and refer to them as my fur babies. I look forward to spoiling yours as I have mine. I currently work full-time but am available on the weekends and during the week as long as they are able to be left alone during the day. I do check in on my lunch break to let them out and provide some much needed attention. I have a fenced yard and a very friendly small dog and 2 cats. I am familiar with crate training as my past dogs have all been crate trained. Pets are allowed on the furniture and in bed at night but if your rules differ I am able to accommodate these rules. Evening or morning walks are a common occurrence in our household. All pets are given plenty of cuddles and affection. I am typically able to work from home and my schedule is fairly flexible other than my kiddos activities which do require short periods away from the house. I treat each fur baby as if they were my own. I have a fenced in back yard and plenty of toys and beds. I do allow pets on the furniture unless you ask that I don’t allow it. I have watched many different pets, especially dogs including puppies, seniors, deaf, blind, large, tiny, etc. I have experience administering medications and changing pet diapers as well.
About: I've been a volunteer at Caring Hands Humane Society for 4+ years, and in January of 2022 I raised a litter of 6 Pomsky puppies! I have a 4+ year old orange Siberian Husky, and I've grown up with a couple family dogs, so I've always been around animals and want to pursue an animal related career! About: Experienced Pet Caretaker: From Puppies' Playtime to Senior Pill Prowess! I have cared for many puppies, as well as our Seniors. I love to play with the puppies, however, I love making sure the seniors get the cuddles and treats they desire! I have a senior in my own home and administer daily pills, multiple times per day. I also have a pitbull puppy who will run herself ragged outside while chasing balls, gardening, and just running around. She also loves hikes and walks! I run my own massage business for in home massage. I am only working three days a week for a few hours at a time. Taking care of the pets is really easy with my schedule! I can carve out as much time as they might need in my day. I aim to keep there routine as normal as possible. I am very flexible in making sure I can do that! I personally feed my own dogs two times per day (morning and night). I have crated my dogs at night for many years, but that is because they love their space. I don't mind having the animals out and about if that is what they prefer! I love to take my own animals on several walks per day, especially with apartment living! We can do anything from short walks to long hikes. I also have had to give my own dogs medications and am no stranger to senior care.

About: I lost my girl in late 2024. Pet sitting for others has really helped my heart to heal. I have always had a dog in my life but I am not yet ready to commit to my next soulmate. I work from home full-time and miss having a shadow with me. Comfortable with meds and needles, as needed. Comfortable with elderly dogs. I work full time from home, so rarely would your pet be alone. I treat your dog like I treated my own. If I run an errand, your dog runs an errand with me (as long as you approve). We might take a walk, we might Netflix and chill, we might swim in the summer, it just depends what your dog “tells” me they wanna do! We have two guinea pigs (who can be separated from other animals if needed). It’s just my husband and I and our teen daughter, who is generally the one our guest dogs sleep with! Fully fenced yard available to use with few steps. Upstairs and downstairs of house but not required to go downstairs if they don’t want to. Crate available, if they are trained or need it. I rarely see the need to use it but require crate trained dogs in case I need it. Common reasons would be during grocery delivery (to prevent escapes while door maybe open), unexpected visitors (if your dog would be uncomfortable, etc.), and such.
About: I have a bachelors degree in animal science which included classes on animal care and husbandry! I’ve volunteered at animal shelters, shadowed veterinarians, and have been a dog owner my entire life. I have a senior dog myself so I am happy to offer all of the extra TLC your pet may need. I also used to compete with my dog in obedience and agility so I am well versed in dog training! I am a stay at home mom and farmer so I am always around the house and farm. This allows me to treat your pet like one of my own! They will get LOTS of love through out the day and plenty of potty breaks! My pets are treated as part of our family and yours would be too! While I may be new to professional dog sitting, I have two wonderful dogs of my own, Rocky (6 years) and Odie (4 years), who have taught me a lot about pet care. I have had them both since they were 3 months old and I trained them both. I'm passionate about providing a loving and safe environment for all dogs. I look forward to meeting your furry friend and giving them the attention and care they deserve! I am a full time Radiologic Technologist and work 10:30am-9pm, with some weekends and also take call. They are both potty trained, and Rocky is trained with basic commands such as sit, stay, wait, high five, and lay down.

About: I've been taking care of pets for family, friends, and neighbors for years. I grew up around dogs and have yet to meet one that doesn't like me. Through the years, I've taken care of all types of dogs and cats; from young, crazy pups to old, sick dogs and from ornery mostly outdoor cats to snuggly kitties that want to use me as a bed. My other job is remote, so my schedule is very flexible for whatever your pet may need. Weekends or weekdays doesn't make much of a difference. I'm also a morning person, so early morning walks, feedings, etc are perfectly fine! For boarding, I have one pet friendly roommate and dog. The dog is so cat friendly that she annoys some cats by trying to convince them to play. My yard is fenced, but there is currently a damaged section that has been covered with temporary plastic fencing. The damage will be repaired soon and until then, I don't let anyone out there without supervision. For house sitting or drop-ins, I treat your pets the way I would want mine treated. I also try to match any routines your pet might be used to, if it's eating at a certain time or always being let out at a certain time, just let me know and I'll make sure to keep things as familiar as possible for your furry friends.

About: Hi there! :) My name is Ashley! I have a love and passion for working and caring with animals, especially dogs, and people! A little about me: I am 26. I have two awesome little ones, as well as four furry ones. Our furry kiddos are our two German Shepherds, Riley and Atlas, and our two cats Artemis and Merlin. I have owned and worked with animals since I was a little girl. I was always bringing home animals that I found, wanting to help them find their homes or seeing if we could be their new one. When I was 11, I started babysitting the neighbors and family friends kids and pets. My first dog was named after one of my toy horses as a little girl, named Sand Dune. He was a Labrador and Collie mix. He helped further my love of working with animals and people. My relationship with him was one of the first things that helped steer me towards a career path of veterinary medicine/working extensively with animals. As he got older, he became very sick and we soon learned that he had cancer. I saw how the people in the veterinary field helped him, helped us, what they did and how they did it, all really struck a cord within me. Not long after I changed my school path from human nursing to animal nursing. I started school at PIMA Medical Institute in Colorado Springs, CO. in January 2014. I finished the program in December 2014 with a 3.8 GPA. When I finished school I went to work at an animal hospital in Colorado Springs. Currently I work at home as a Health and Fitness Coach, as well as my work through Rover. In my spare time I love to spend time with my family. We love to do anything outdoors. Regular hikes and trail walks with the kiddos (all 4 of them) are one of our "must-do's"! Indoors we are big PC gamers, and run a D&D campaign at our house on the weekend! About: I’ve taken care of pets, especially dogs since my parents brought home my first dog when I was a little kid. I’m used to the responsibility of taking care of animals and making sure they are fed, walked and happy. I’ve also walked looked after dogs for relatives and neighbors who were away since I was a kid. I work from home on the weekdays. I work for myself as well and like to take breaks by walking around my neighborhood so it’s easy for me to find time for your pet. I’m available most the weekend as well unless something unexpected comes up. I have a one room apartment near college hill park, it’s an ideal location for dog walking, as it’s a very safe and walkable neighborhood. Being in a small space makes boarding a little difficult (which is why I charge more for it) but it is doable.

“This was our first experience with Rover and therefore our first experience with Sam. We just have to say we could not be more pleased. We were visiting in Hutchinson, KS and our dog Elmer stayed overnight with Sam, his roommate and Trapper, a high energy, playful and very friendly dog. The two dogs meshed well wonderfully and got “lots of exercise” and play time. This was Elmer’s first night away from us as he is a recent adoptee and apparently he didn’t seem to miss us one bit. Sam was great about sending frequent updates and pictures while hosting Elmer which really helped alleviate any concerns we had. About: I’ve been a pet owner my entire life. My sweet Charlie crossed the rainbow bridge in 2025, but when he was here he loved being a pal to all doggos and kiggies. Honoring his memory, I will care for your sweet critter with the same love and attention I have always shown to all creatures. I have one cat, who is aloof, but peaceful. Fenced yard, kiddie pool in the summer, and I am totally okay if your baby needs to dig a hole in the yard. This is a safe space for critters to be their authentic selves. I’m work during the week, so I am only available Friday after 5pm through Sunday at 9pm. I don’t go out on the weekends, so I’m totally dialed in to seeing to your pet’s needs for pottying, walkies, snuggles, and anything else that helps them cope with having their human be absent for brief times. I have a large fenced yard. The grass is soft, but I’m okay with them getting a lil diggy time in if needed. The neighborhood is safe and there is a beautiful park nearby for walkies. I also have a pet stroller if your furry fren needs the accommodation.
