“This was our first experience with Rover and therefore our first experience with Sam. We just have to say we could not be more pleased. We were visiting in Hutchinson, KS and our dog Elmer stayed overnight with Sam, his roommate and Trapper, a high energy, playful and very friendly dog. The two dogs meshed well wonderfully and got “lots of exercise” and play time. This was Elmer’s first night away from us as he is a recent adoptee and apparently he didn’t seem to miss us one bit. Sam was great about sending frequent updates and pictures while hosting Elmer which really helped alleviate any concerns we had. I love to play with the puppies, however, I love making sure the seniors get the cuddles and treats they desire! I have a senior in my own home and administer daily pills, multiple times per day. I also have a pitbull puppy who will run herself ragged outside while chasing balls, gardening, and just running around. She also loves hikes and walks! About: I grew up in a pet loving family, we always had at least 5 fur babies! I loved having the responsibility of caring for them by myself. I would sometimes bring them over to my neighbors for play dates, I could teach them tricks and play with them all day. I am always home or going for walks, and having a pet by my side always makes my day better. From running around outside to laying on the couch watching a movie having a pet with me always makes it so much more fun! No pet is the same, I adapt to what the pet wants. If it’s an energetic puppy i’ll be energetic if, it’s a relaxed elderly pet i’ll relax with it, they all get the care and environment they will need.

I do mostly gig work and am home and available for most of the day. I am available to take care of pets all day almost everyday and enjoy taking care of and meeting new pets. My yard is fenced, but there is currently a damaged section that has been covered with temporary plastic fencing. The damage will be repaired soon and until then, I don't let anyone out there without supervision. For house sitting or drop-ins, I treat your pets the way I would want mine treated. I also try to match any routines your pet might be used to, if it's eating at a certain time or always being let out at a certain time, just let me know and I'll make sure to keep things as familiar as possible for your furry friends.

About: I have done rescue work for dogs. I actually have two dogs of my own one. I saved from the Humane Society and one I saved for a rescue who is going to be put to sleep for no reason. I am currently not working so I would be home all of the time with them. They would get all the attention in the world. “AAA+ HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! This is the second time Meghan and her family kept our golden retriever, Wilson. We LOVE the care and attention he gets with them. He is still a puppy and, at times, a stinker, and they are very patient and wonderful with him! We get daily text pictures and updates so we can see him playing outside, inside, even on their bed, etc! It makes taking a family vacation easy! :) Last time Wilson stayed with them, he seemed to miss their family and was so excited when we took him back again.
