About: My family has had dogs, cats and fish my whole life. I often watch them when my parents are out of town and I have dog and cat sat for family & friends for years. I have helped a friends family with their cattle and pigs, but am not as experienced with livestock outside chickens. I’m currently available 7 days/wk I work as a server in my pleasant so whoever I’m staying with ideally should be able to go 6-8hrs between potty breaks! About: I have three dogs, two wonderful twin golden retrievers that are 5 years old. They are my whole world and so are my sister and brother’s dogs/cats! My sister has been doing rover in KC for over 7 years so it’s been a great way to experience rover and the necessities for all kinds of pets. Although I can't say I've taken care of every breed out there (doubt that many people can) I have definitely seen my fair share of mutts and purebreds alike; from Corgis to Chihuahuas, Danes to Dobermans, Lhasa Apsos to Shar Peis, and even a couple of wolves (3/4 mixes) as well as a few rodents, cats, reptiles, arachnid and birds. About: I have worked in veterinary Kennels and in shelters. I am also a certified Dog and Cat trainer through Animal Behavior College in 2013. I have been trained in animal first aide. I have a military I.D. so I can also care for military families as well! I come home on my lunch break to let the dogs run in the yard (we NEVER leave the dogs outside on their own for safety from hawks etc). The longest they are alone is 5 hours. Our live revolve around our own dogs so they will feel like one of the family in no time. We have a fenced .75 acre yard that we stay out with them for safety. Older pups will be carried on any stairs to prevent any falls. Kenneling is a part of our home for safety. But if we are home they are out. The dogs have their own room where they kennel that has safety film on the windows so they can benefit from the light but are not tormented by the squirrels in the trees. Cats are kept in their own area as well. I know how important your dog is and I will treat them the way I would want mine treated. With the exception of errands and taking kids to school I am home full time. We treat visitors as one of the pack. Often our visiting pups like to lounge on the couch when not supervised in the yard. I have a fenced yard and dogs are not left outside unattended (especially the little ones). We have a multi layered floor plan so if a dog needs to be alone for a bit we have the ability to do so.

About: I have had dogs in my home for almost my whole life. I have a pug, golden retriever, and a mutt that are all a couple years apart in age. For two years, I volunteered at a humane society where I walked and cared for dogs of all kinds. Senior, puppy, sick, I have a lot of experience and I would love to get more! I’m currently working at a golf course near Forest Lake. My schedule for work comes out weekly, so I’m unaware what my weeks look like well in advance. I don’t like to do this, but if your pups are able to be home for about 6-8, then this would be a great fit! Obviously I wouldn’t work every day of the week, so I will be available to give them my full attention. Your pups are my priority and I wouldn’t want them to feel uncomfortable with my wack work schedule in any way. My shifts will either be 6-2 or 2-9, or shorter. About: Hello!! My name is Maisy. I have worked in various different animal related jobs for the last 5 years, I worked at a doggie daycare/boarding facility and I currently am a dog trainer. I have experience with both puppies and elderly dog as well as cats, reptiles, birds, and farm animals. I also am open to limited contact boarding for people reacting dogs and can do crate rotation for dog reactive dogs away from mine. I work in the evenings 4 days a week so I spend the mornings/afternoons out playing with the pups then they take naps in kennels while I’m at work and we play some more when I get home. I also can move my dogs kennels out of the “dog room” and your dog can just stay in there instead of a kennel if they are more comfortable that way. I have 5 dogs that are very active and friendly. I have a fenced in yard the dogs love to run around in and inside we have lots of toys and comfy places to take naps (which will be put up if there are problems). If I’m not at home or at night all dogs will be kenneled for safety.
About: Located on 10 acres in rural Hoyt, Kansas, Hughes & Hounds provides a spacious safe haven for your furry family members. Our set-up, previously used for dog breeding, includes two (working on three) spacious backyard pens that are the full package deal, including: big shade trees, big water bowls, a doggie igloo and free doggie treats (if you approve of course!). Please note that our dog daycare and boarding services are OUTDOOR ONLY and really for farm/outside dogs, bigger dogs, or dogs with high energy. We will accept any sized dog as long as they’re used to staying outside during the day! With two young kids in the home, we will only bring your dogs inside if the owner provides a crate and only if requested for night time (with the exception of severe weather where they would be crated indoors as well). I work a few afternoons a week, so I will be able to check on your furry pals often during their week & weekend stays with us. We are flexible and want to make sure your wishes are heard. So if you want us to play with your dogs, send you pictures, give treats - we are here for it. But if your dog prefers to not be bothered too much and is good with the essentials - we are here for that too. You tell us how we can provide the most comfortable atmosphere for your dogs. As far as experience goes, I've been a dog sitter on and off from elementary school through college and have volunteered lots of hours to our local shelter.... I love dogs and they're in good hands! :) This is a NEW and fun business adventure for our small family and we do not take it lightly! We were not using our back 3 pens, other than allowing our dogs to roam them. There were some escape artists when the pens were originally used for breeding, so safety features include covered corners so dogs are unable to climb up and out using the corner fencing. Cement was also laid around the boundaries of the pens so digging cannot occur. If your dog likes to jump fences that would be a concern and a reason why we may not be a good fit for you. Of course, plenty of cold, fresh water will always be available to your dog(s) during their stay.

About: Hi, I’m Sarah! I’m 18 years old and have loved animals for as long as I can remember. I grew up with both dogs and cats, and I currently have four dogs of my own, so I’ve always been surrounded by animals. I work at a dog daycare in Lawrence, where I care for dogs of all sizes, breeds, ages, and personalities. I supervise playgroups, feed dogs, give medications when needed, and make sure they’re safe and having a good time. About: I was always around a dog as a child and grew up knowing what they wanted, when to go outside, when to feed them and make sure they were played with. They can be unbelievable friends and I think they keep our lives actively expanding. I like to work part time and do the dog sitting when ever it's needed. It can be a random cases and I'm more welcoming to act on immediate services needed. I male sure the pet doesn't get into anything. For example: The trash can, anything chemical on the floor and make sure before they come over...if dog is being watched from my home. I make sure to clean up vacuum and make sure it's an very clean environment. Only feed them what pet owners advise me to give their dogs.

I currently work full-time caring for pets at a daycare facility, typically working either 6-1 or 1-7 Tuesday through Saturday. Fully available on Sunday and Monday! I come from a large, mostly rural dwelling family, my grandma had 11 kids 2/3 of which have at least 1 or more dog(s) including my mom. I've always had my own and/or lived with roommates/friends/family, that have/had dog(s) in every house I've lived from day 1 to the present. Although I can't say I've taken care of every breed out there (doubt that many people can) I have definitely seen my fair share of mutts and purebreds alike; from Corgis to Chihuahuas, Danes to Dobermans, Lhasa Apsos to Shar Peis, and even a couple of wolves (3/4 mixes) as well as a few rodents, cats, reptiles, arachnid and birds. Big or small I love "em all, but if you forced me to pick a favorite I'd have to go with the affectionate yet intimidating Perro de Presa Canario. About: I have three dogs, two wonderful twin golden retrievers that are 5 years old. They are my whole world and so are my sister and brother’s dogs/cats! My sister has been doing rover in KC for over 7 years so it’s been a great way to experience rover and the necessities for all kinds of pets. Additionally, I’ve been a volunteer at Unchained Melodies puppy nursery and KC Pet Project for the last few years <3 I’m currently a post-graduate student preparing for medical school here in a year so I have a lot of time for longer term pups. I’m preparing for work part-time as well in the fall but I have a very open and flexible schedule. I have helped dog sit for years now and of course I’ve taken care of my own dogs since they were just babies. Unfortunately, I’m unable, for the most part, to have animals stay at my house however, I’m open if necessary. I walk and feed my own dogs daily and they take a lot of space so I want them to feel comfortable in their own environment.
About: My family has had dogs, cats and fish my whole life. I often watch them when my parents are out of town and I have dog and cat sat for family & friends for years. I have helped a friends family with their cattle and pigs, but am not as experienced with livestock outside chickens. I have experience giving insulin shots to dogs and I am good at hiding medicine in treats. I am very flexible and can often show up at any time of the day! For late night checks and overnights I ask for a minimum of 8 hour notice. I currently only provide services in the client's home or walks. I do not currently have the capability to watch dogs in my own home but I am able to do overnights and last minute walks and checks late in the night if needed!
