“Veronica provides a safe, cosy place for dogs to stay when they can’t go with their owner, and my dog Bear was treated like family. Bear is almost 14 years old and not interested in playing, but he got along well with Veronica’s gentle dog, who Veronica carefully introduced to him. He likes to be with people, and he was so comfortable with Veronica that he relaxed at my feet when she and I chatted, instead of pulling me out the door. Veronica was very careful to help Bear negotiate around her house, as he doesn’t see well, and she was clever in making sure he could safely go out. Bear says he would go back anytime and I can heartily recommend Veronica to care for beloved pets.”

About: I have done rescue work for dogs. I actually have two dogs of my own one. I saved from the Humane Society and one I saved for a rescue who is going to be put to sleep for no reason. I am currently not working so I would be home all of the time with them. They would get all the attention in the world. We have a a fenced in backyard that they would be able to run around in and the cats would be kept inside and fed. What food daily if you please. I have a fenced in backyard and two very very friendly dogs who love new friends. Your dog would be very loved and taken care of. About: I grew up with dogs and have owned dogs most of my life (variety of breeds). I currently have a mini-Pomeranian and a Golden Retriever, who love making new friends! I've helped family and friends with pets over the years, and I also volunteered at a mill-dog rescue when I lived in Colorado - giving meds, cleaning, and socializing. I will make sure your fur-baby receives the best care!! I work full-time M-F (normal day-time hours) but can work from home whenever I want. I live close to work and, therefore, can drive home for check-ins/walks if I do need to be at my office. I have a lot of availability and flexibility on weekends. I have a small, fenced yard in a quiet, safe neighborhood. It's extra secure because my small dog would, otherwise, be able to sneak out of it. It's also partially shaded, but they would not need to be outside unless they preferred to be!

About: I have a huge heart for pets & animals in general - I have been drawn to them since I can remember! Growing up I used to assist our local vet with surgery prep and wound care. I realized I was meant more for the "loving" of animals rather than the "medical care" when vaccinations or other scary things happened - all I could do was comfort the pet! I work in West Wichita (my office IS pet friendly if your pup has the right temperament) and my hours are Mon-Thurs from 8am-5pm, and Fridays 8am-3pm. This limits my ability for mid-day stop ins during the week, but I am fully available in the mornings, evenings, and all weekend hours. All pet care routines are different! About: I have been taking care of my friends dog for 4 years. I love taking dogs on walks and I can drop in your dogs and check on them! I can take dogs on walks after work and weekends during mornings and nights as well! I can check on them during the evenings as well I will follow instructions that are provided to me by the owners! I will build a relationship between the dogs and myself and the owners!
