About: I’ve taken care of a variety of animals since high school, from cats and dogs to horses. Neighbors, coworkers and friends have relied on me to train, exercise, bathe and feed their pets for many years. I’ve loved animals since I was a child, and I work diligently to gain their trust when they are under my care and responsibility. From August to May, I’m enrolled full time at Wichita State; however, this summer (2023) I will be enrolled in 1-2 classes at the most. This allows me to be available all days of the week other than the hours of my scheduled classes. I’ll update my calendar/availability when I have the schedule for my summer classes. On weekends, I’m available full time. Currently not setup for boarding at my house, but animals are my comfortable in their own home so I’m more than happy to provide care within their own environment. Accommodations are open for discussion. I currently have one cat, but we have had large dog breeds and multiple cats while living in this house. I have a completely fenced-in backyard, but it is only 6 foot privacy fence on 2 sides and 4 foot chain link on one side. With all the animals we’ve had in this house, my care for them has remained the same—I feed them, bathe them, let them outside when needed, walk them (dogs), and play with them when I can. If necessary or when my schedule allows, I have an SUV to drive them to the park, to the vet, etc.

About: I’ve had cats all my life and have a cat myself. I’ve cared for all types of cats in my life for a long time. I’ve even cared for newborn kittens and senior cats before. I don’t have a ton of experience with special needs cats but I am a quick learner and will treat your animals as if they were mine.

About: I love dogs - especially those who may need some help with good manners! My love for these dogs in particular started with my own lab pit mix who was, at the time, the most human and dog aggressive dog I, and two other trainers, have ever met. After finally finding a great trainer in Overland Park, my dog is now one of the most well-behaved at my complex! She trusts me to lead and I trust her to listen. All the trainers said I'm a natural dog trainer. So, when you leave your dog with me, I'll be teaching your dog some basics of training! (If you are okay with that!) I work full-time M-F, but I only work mornings on Fridays. I am almost always open on weekends. I make time to walk the dogs - and when it's nice enough, go on a picnic with the dogs - everyday during lunchtime and after work. I do keep my dog and other dogs separated while I am not home. I will do whatever is most comfortable for you when I am home - whether you'd like them to meet or stay separated. I'll still make time to ensure they go on walks through the day! I have never had any problems with having two dogs at the home whether separated or together.

About: I have been a vet tech for 10 years. It is my passion. I had a disabled boxer so I am familiar with need to help disabled pets. I currently share custody of an energetic border collie. My 14 year old daughter loves to assist me when caring for your pet, please let me know if that is okay. I do work full time. If the pet is staying at your house, time permitting, I will check on them before work, lunch, and spend time after work with them. I will treat every pet as if they are mine. About: I'm a stay at home mom with plenty of time on my hands, and I like to keep busy. I love to get out of the house and take long walks. I have a nice big fenced yard and a spacious house. I love dog kisses and cuddles. I'm also a cat person and I know it's hard to find lodging for them when you go out of town. All pets deserve exercise and attention and I understand you have to work so let me take on some of the responsibilities. I'm excited to spend time with lovable animals, play fetch, brush coats and give lots of pets. I wake up early with my son before I see him off to school, so pets get breakfast around 8am. I make sure to give attention to all my animals as well as playtime as needed. Frequent potty breaks are provided and usually include short games of fetch or chase. Around 3pm when my son gets home from school we like to take a walk around the neighborhood for a little enrichment. In the evening pets are fed again around 6pm. I usually give a good brush to everyone and make sure to give thorough pets and a few treats before bedtime. I have a fenced yard without any holes to escape. I have a playful puppy to keep your fur babies company. When new animals I arrive I have a spare room set up as a safe place for them. We make sure to introduce them slowly and safely so everyone is comfortable. My puppy sleeps in her crate most nights, your dogs have the option to sleep with me or in a crate depending on your preference. My cats have a sunroom to escape to if our company is too overwhelming. Meaning everyone can have their own space without feeling threatened. I take the comfort and safety of my guests extremely seriously and do my best to ensure they are as happy as possible during their stay.

About: I have experienced caring for kittens, cats, and senior cats and I really enjoy getting to know each cats personality and what makes him feel the most comfortable. I’ve also cared for dogs ranging from six months to 13 years old and I am comfortable with both energetic puppies and older dogs who need a slower pace. About: I have worked in the animal care industry for over 15 years as a veterinary assistant, kennel attendant, dog trainer, boarding facility manager, and even managed a few dog and exotic animal rescues. Currently my happy bunch of animals include horses, cats, bearded dragon, fish, snails, and a dog. My experience really sets me apart from other sitters being that I am able to handle any size, breed, or type of animals you may have with the ability to care for them like my own. House sitting, dog walking, and drop in visits are my preferred type of jobs to take on. I am able to be very flexible with daily visits as I work part time so normally 3 drop ins per day can be custom to your pets wants or needs. Drop in visits are usually 5-7am mid-day visits are 10:30-11 and the evening is dependent on your pets needs and can be anytime after 4:30. If you want to skip midday and do two visits in the evening that is fine by me. Let me know your schedule and I will do my best to fit around it. This way we don’t upset your pets routine too terribly while you are away. I do not offer boarding in my own home of any kind. I am 100% mobile and come to you to provide your pets care. Keys, codes, and other home access needed, these things would be gone over in person.

I know how to groom dogs and train them as I have spent a lot of time raising and training puppies. And I’m excellent in watching after cats and making them feel comfortable. I know how to train basic obedience commands and manners for puppies and adult dogs as I have with dogs I have watched as well as my own even advanced commands. I work 12 hour shifts 15 days out of the month so for 15 days I am completely free and I only work 2 days in a row. but on the days I work I am still available for drop-ins, dog walks or boarding and I am able to come home at the 6 hour mark to let the dog out and play for a 20ish minutes. My schedule is a little abnormal. Since I’m free for half of the weekdays of the month I have a lot of time on my hands and am more then happy to drop in,walk or board your pup or cat. During house sitting, I make sure to keep their routine as consistent as possible, offering plenty of love, playtime, and attention so they feel at ease while their owners are away. For drop-in visits, I focus on giving them quality one-on-one time, whether that means feeding, refreshing water, play, or cuddles, whatever they need most in that moment.

She really treated him like he was part of her own family. She kept me updated the whole time with messages and photos, which meant so much to me. I never had to worry about how he was doing. She even asked about his preferences and routines to make sure he felt comfortable and at home. It’s clear she genuinely cares about the dogs she watches. Brownie looked happy and relaxed, and that says everything. He totally didn’t miss me when I picked him up lol. You won’t find anyone like her. I’d trust her again in a heartbeat.”
