About: I am an animal lover in every sense of the word! I have returned 5 lost pets to their homes, including a cat whose family had moved hundreds of miles away. I have a rescue of my own as well, who I have had for 2 years now. All of these strays have stayed in my home while I contacted their owners, so my pups are very accustomed to having new furry friends in the home! I have watched 10lb terriers all the way to an 150lb+ pitbull/mastiff mix - all sizes are welcome! I also love to take pet photos, so with your permission I will take photos (no extra charge)! I have two pups of my own, so pet care is an every day event for me. I work 10 minutes from home, so I can feed/potty pets over my lunch break as well! About: I’ve taken care of reptiles, rats, dogs and cats for many years. I always spend extra time with all the animals in my care and love them as my own. I know how to groom dogs and train them as I have spent a lot of time raising and training puppies. And I’m excellent in watching after cats and making them feel comfortable. I love playing and providing physical and mental stimulation to all pets. And a low stress environment. I know how to train basic obedience commands and manners for puppies and adult dogs as I have with dogs I have watched as well as my own even advanced commands. I work 12 hour shifts 15 days out of the month so for 15 days I am completely free and I only work 2 days in a row. but on the days I work I am still available for drop-ins, dog walks or boarding and I am able to come home at the 6 hour mark to let the dog out and play for a 20ish minutes. My schedule is a little abnormal. Since I’m free for half of the weekdays of the month I have a lot of time on my hands and am more then happy to drop in,walk or board your pup or cat. During house sitting, I make sure to keep their routine as consistent as possible, offering plenty of love, playtime, and attention so they feel at ease while their owners are away. For drop-in visits, I focus on giving them quality one-on-one time, whether that means feeding, refreshing water, play, or cuddles, whatever they need most in that moment.

Working with wild animals means I have a much deeper understanding of animal husbandry, psychology, and behavior that allows me to provide better care for your pet! I'm especially comfortable around and handling large dogs due to the nature of my job. That being said, I'm able to provide a deeper level of personalized care. I currently work 5 days a week, usually Wednesday-Sunday. On my weekend, I'm home all day. On my workdays, I'm able to leave during lunch to provide dogs with potty breaks. There is a dog park within walking distance of my apartment that I bring my dogs to every morning and evening. I do also have a dog potty set up inside my apartment just in case a dog can't wait for me to get home. I provide this because I personally wouldn't make myself hold it, so I would never force a dog to do the same. I provide a very safe, relaxing environment where your dog will be treated like family. I approach care with a proactive approach, rather than reactive. This means I always keep a close eye on individual pet behavior as subtle cues can indicate how a pet is feeling at a given moment. Many pet owners miss out on these cues, especially if they aren't trained to look for them. Overall, this means I try my best to create a safe environment for and trusting bond with any animal I work with via positive reinforcement and never push past an individual's limits.

About: I grew up on a small town farm and was raised around horses, dogs, cats, chickens, etc. until I graduated high school. I was responsible for caring for the farm animals, so I have lots of experience with different animals and pets, including cats and dogs (of all sizes and ages). I recently graduated with a master degree in biomedical science and am looking for some extra work while I figure out what I’d like to do. I currently have four pets that I absolutely adore— a Labradoodle, German Shepherd, dachshund, and a fat, orange cat! Suffice it to say they are spoiled beyond belief. As a recent graduate, I am taking time off from school and full-time work, so my schedule is very open and flexible (especially afternoons). I am usually available for dog walking duties anytime from 7:30 AM-10 AM or in the evenings, and I can make stops to take care of dogs/cats anytime during the day. If house-sitting is required, details will need to be arranged prior to the stay. While I am newer to Rover, I have tons of pet care experience and believe each pet (even the troublemaker) deserves top-tier care and companionship while their humans aren’t home. Aside from watching others’ animals, I own a few myself. I take the dogs on daily walks, feed them twice daily, and clean the cat litter box daily. My first puppy was a jack russel terrier and Abbie was my best friend from second grade up until 2020. •I own a 6 year old husky mix named Oso, a 9 year old orange tabby cat named Lumen and an almost 1 year old cat named Boots. About: I’m an experienced pet sitter and dog lover with a calm home environment, perfect for pups who are friendly, well-mannered, and crate-trained. I also have a resident dog and cat, so I prefer guests who are respectful of other dogs’ space and social cues. I enjoy going for walks and providing enrichment, but I’m best suited for dogs who are leash-trained and not overly high energy. Please feel free to message me first so we can see if it’s a good fit! I work full time as a middle school teacher, so I have a very caring heart. I’m available after 3pm most days and anytime on the weekends and during summer (May 25th-August1st). I love walking my dogs and would love to walk yours too. I can work on leash training with your dog, as well as the basics. I can drop in and visit your dog or cat, walk them, feed them, and keep them company for a little while. I make sure that animals are never left unsupervised. If I’m not home, animals will be kept separate. Anything you need when it comes to walks and visits, I’m your gal!

About: I’ve grown up with and taken care of dogs of all kinds! Neighbors, friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed, play and check up on their pets! I’m currently in school studying, which gives me a very flexible daytime schedule. I’m available for walks throughout the day and can accommodate a variety of timing needs, including mornings, afternoons and evenings! I have always grown up with animals but currently do not have any pets of my own. I truly enjoy spending time with animals, am reliable, attentive and happy to make sure your pets get plenty of exercise, attention and care while you’re away

About: I’ve worked in a vet hospital for over 9 years in a wide range of positions/duties. Working with dogs is a pleasure of mine and I know how much more comfortable they can be at home! I work full-time but can make visits at least 3x/day during the week! Of course over the weekends, your babies will get much more attention!! I am open to whatever your pet needs in order to keep them comfortable! This can be discussed as needed. Safety of everyone involved is an utmost priority!
