I've helped family and friends with pets over the years, and I also volunteered at a mill-dog rescue when I lived in Colorado - giving meds, cleaning, and socializing. I will make sure your fur-baby receives the best care!! I work full-time M-F (normal day-time hours) but can work from home whenever I want. I live close to work and, therefore, can drive home for check-ins/walks if I do need to be at my office. I have a lot of availability and flexibility on weekends. I have a small, fenced yard in a quiet, safe neighborhood. It's extra secure because my small dog would, otherwise, be able to sneak out of it. It's also partially shaded, but they would not need to be outside unless they preferred to be!

“Veronica provides a safe, cosy place for dogs to stay when they can’t go with their owner, and my dog Bear was treated like family. Bear is almost 14 years old and not interested in playing, but he got along well with Veronica’s gentle dog, who Veronica carefully introduced to him. He likes to be with people, and he was so comfortable with Veronica that he relaxed at my feet when she and I chatted, instead of pulling me out the door. Veronica was very careful to help Bear negotiate around her house, as he doesn’t see well, and she was clever in making sure he could safely go out. Bear says he would go back anytime and I can heartily recommend Veronica to care for beloved pets.”

About: I have done rescue work for dogs. I actually have two dogs of my own one. I saved from the Humane Society and one I saved for a rescue who is going to be put to sleep for no reason. My 14 year old daughter loves to assist me when caring for your pet, please let me know if that is okay. I do work full time. About: I grew up on a small town farm and was raised around horses, dogs, cats, chickens, etc. until I graduated high school. I was responsible for caring for the farm animals, so I have lots of experience with different animals and pets, including cats and dogs (of all sizes and ages). I recently graduated with a master degree in biomedical science and am looking for some extra work while I figure out what I’d like to do. I currently have four pets that I absolutely adore— a Labradoodle, German Shepherd, dachshund, and a fat, orange cat! Suffice it to say they are spoiled beyond belief. Mornings are my busiest, so if you book with me, morning scheduling may need to be adjusted a bit. While I am newer to Rover, I have tons of pet care experience and believe each pet (even the troublemaker) deserves top-tier care and companionship while their humans aren’t home. Aside from watching others’ animals, I own a few myself. I take the dogs on daily walks, feed them twice daily, and clean the cat litter box daily. Overall, I have experience walking/handling small and large—sometimes rowdy—dogs, administering oral medication, cleaning out litter boxes, playing with pets, and daily feeds. Depending on the job and the dog/cat I am responsible for, I am willing to care for your animal in a way that best fits their needs as you see fit.

I approach care with a proactive approach, rather than reactive. This means I always keep a close eye on individual pet behavior as subtle cues can indicate how a pet is feeling at a given moment. Many pet owners miss out on these cues, especially if they aren't trained to look for them. Overall, this means I try my best to create a safe environment for and trusting bond with any animal I work with via positive reinforcement and never push past an individual's limits.

About: I have loved all different types of animals my entire life! Between having multiple family members outing farms, being an assistant for an exotic pet store when I was in high school, and animal sitting and walking over the last 10 years I have created a bond with animals of all types and sizes! I can’t wait to take your furry friend for a walk, give them a bath, or just some fun at the park! I am a stay at home, mom and my child is at school during the day but when she is home, she also loves being around animals and getting to be compassionate and kind towards them! So I have ability to care for any pet in my care at all hours and be able to give them my full focus! I have plenty of space near my home to take your pet for a walk, or we can go to a nearby dog park! I have cats at my home too to give your furry friend a company! Dogs staying in my house would need to be used to and able to be home alone up to 4 hours at a time.I will come home at lunch and let them out. I also have puppy pads I can lay down if they need them. I have a fenced-in yard and a big enough bedroom that I can crate or separate your pets if needed. I do have 2 cats but they will want nothing to do with your baby and stay out of your pet's way.
About: I have experience walking elderly dogs and younger ones. I started walking dogs when I was in middle school, and I absolutely love all dogs and will care for your baby! I have pet sit many cats and love them, and I have experience with smaller animals as well. I work full time M-F 8-4. I am able to check on your pet in the evenings or in the early morning, and on the weekends Given my experience, I am very careful with walking dogs and I am sure to never walk them near a busy road and always look both ways before I cross the street. If caring for your pet at home, I leave things as I found them, clean up after myself and your pet, and treat your area with respect.

About: I’ve taken care of my family and friends fur babies for a while, i’ve also baby sat kids as well as house sit and took care of animals while doing so! My goal is to make sure your fur-babies are happy, healthy and well taken care of while you’re at work or out of town! whatever the case may be I just want to make sure they’re loved! Due to not being able to have kids my pets are like kids to me and I treat everyone’s ’kids’ the same way i do mine, with lots of love!! I’ve done a lot of rescue work in the past with animals aswell as fostered several dogs! About: I grew up with dogs and have owned dogs most of my life (variety of breeds). I currently have a mini-Pomeranian and a Golden Retriever, who love making new friends! I've helped family and friends with pets over the years, and I also volunteered at a mill-dog rescue when I lived in Colorado - giving meds, cleaning, and socializing. I will make sure your fur-baby receives the best care!! I work full-time M-F (normal day-time hours) but can work from home whenever I want. I live close to work and, therefore, can drive home for check-ins/walks if I do need to be at my office. I have a lot of availability and flexibility on weekends. I have a small, fenced yard in a quiet, safe neighborhood. It's extra secure because my small dog would, otherwise, be able to sneak out of it. It's also partially shaded, but they would not need to be outside unless they preferred to be!
About: I’ve taken care of my own dogs and friends’ dogs since I was a child. I’ve also trained my own. We love dogs of all breeds! I work from home with a flexible schedule and my dog is with me all day. Kennel trained is preferred in case I do leave the house. My own dog, Olivia, loves to play with dogs of all sizes! She has a fenced in area to get her zoomies out or play fetch. She also loves walks and car rides. She is kennel trained and often in there if I leave the house for long periods.
