About: I am the girl who sees a dog out in public and will always give it a belly rub! I have had dogs and cats since I was born but fully took on the responsibility of dog/cat watching, feeding, walking, and over all care for about 6 years now. I have 2 families I have consistently dog watched for 2 years now but am happy to meet more furry friends. My own personal fuzzy companions consist of 4 dogs and 5 cats! I am currently a full time student at Wichita State University. I am in Student Ambassador Society and in then sorority Alpha Phi. We currently have three adopted pups from the Kansas Humane Society, and over the past three years we’ve also fostered 11 dogs through KHS — including 5 puppies. About: I currently work as a zookeeper and have years of wild and domestic animal experience. Working with wild animals means I have a much deeper understanding of animal husbandry, psychology, and behavior that allows me to provide better care for your pet! I'm especially comfortable around and handling large dogs due to the nature of my job. Professionally, I have cared for a variety of wild animals including large cats like lions, tigers, and leopards, dolphins, seals and sea lions, and several canid species. That being said, I'm able to provide a deeper level of personalized care. I currently work 5 days a week, usually Wednesday-Sunday. On my weekend, I'm home all day. On my workdays, I'm able to leave during lunch to provide dogs with potty breaks. There is a dog park within walking distance of my apartment that I bring my dogs to every morning and evening. I do also have a dog potty set up inside my apartment just in case a dog can't wait for me to get home. I provide this because I personally wouldn't make myself hold it, so I would never force a dog to do the same. I provide a very safe, relaxing environment where your dog will be treated like family. I approach care with a proactive approach, rather than reactive. This means I always keep a close eye on individual pet behavior as subtle cues can indicate how a pet is feeling at a given moment. Many pet owners miss out on these cues, especially if they aren't trained to look for them. Overall, this means I try my best to create a safe environment for and trusting bond with any animal I work with via positive reinforcement and never push past an individual's limits.

This limits my ability for mid-day stop ins during the week, but I am fully available in the mornings, evenings, and all weekend hours. All pet care routines are different! Since the level of care required can vary greatly from family to family, I offer a few different "versions" of each service, and modify my rates according to time/effort committed. About: I’ve taken care of animals such as fish, cats, dogs birds and even a turtle in the backyard for a while before! I love to work with animals once we know each other and be a new friend to them and relate my experiences with them and learn new ones I work remote so any of these options work as long as you have reliable internet and Wi-Fi connections at your place.
