Bear is almost 14 years old and not interested in playing, but he got along well with Veronica’s gentle dog, who Veronica carefully introduced to him. He likes to be with people, and he was so comfortable with Veronica that he relaxed at my feet when she and I chatted, instead of pulling me out the door. Veronica was very careful to help Bear negotiate around her house, as he doesn’t see well, and she was clever in making sure he could safely go out. Bear says he would go back anytime and I can heartily recommend Veronica to care for beloved pets.”

About: I lost my girl in late 2024. Pet sitting for others has really helped my heart to heal. I have always had a dog in my life but I am not yet ready to commit to my next soulmate. I work from home full-time and miss having a shadow with me. Comfortable with meds and needles, as needed. Comfortable with elderly dogs. I work full time from home, so rarely would your pet be alone. I treat your dog like I treated my own. If I run an errand, your dog runs an errand with me (as long as you approve). We might take a walk, we might Netflix and chill, we might swim in the summer, it just depends what your dog “tells” me they wanna do! We have two guinea pigs (who can be separated from other animals if needed). It’s just my husband and I and our teen daughter, who is generally the one our guest dogs sleep with! Fully fenced yard available to use with few steps. Upstairs and downstairs of house but not required to go downstairs if they don’t want to. Crate available, if they are trained or need it. I rarely see the need to use it but require crate trained dogs in case I need it. Common reasons would be during grocery delivery (to prevent escapes while door maybe open), unexpected visitors (if your dog would be uncomfortable, etc.), and such.

I love getting outside for walks, playtime, and making sure your pet feels safe, happy, and cared for while you’re away. You can expect plenty of updates, photos, and peace of mind knowing your pet is in experienced, reliable hands. I treat every pet like they’re my own, because they deserve nothing less. Can’t wait to meet your furry family member! 🐶🐱 I have a consistent overnight schedule (6pm–6am) Sunday through Tuesday, so I’m available during the day on those days and have open availability Wednesday through Friday. I also work one Saturday a month, with occasional weekend availability otherwise. Pet care fits easily into my routine, and I make sure every pet gets reliable, attentive care and plenty of love! For walks and drop-ins, I keep your pet’s routine consistent and stress-free by following your instructions for feeding, walks, playtime, and any medications. I match each pet’s energy, whether that’s a long walk, playtime, or some quality cuddle time (plus a few compliments, of course). With my veterinary ICU background, I also keep a close eye on their health and behavior.

About: I have a huge heart for pets & animals in general - I have been drawn to them since I can remember! Growing up I used to assist our local vet with surgery prep and wound care. I realized I was meant more for the "loving" of animals rather than the "medical care" when vaccinations or other scary things happened - all I could do was comfort the pet! I have cared for almost every kind of pet there is, and I enjoy giving Moms & Dads the peace of mind I know that I need when I am busy or out of town. I work in West Wichita (my office IS pet friendly if your pup has the right temperament) and my hours are Mon-Thurs from 8am-5pm, and Fridays 8am-3pm. This limits my ability for mid-day stop ins during the week, but I am fully available in the mornings, evenings, and all weekend hours. All pet care routines are different! Since the level of care required can vary greatly from family to family, I offer a few different "versions" of each service, and modify my rates according to time/effort committed. Please reach out if you have a hybrid (drop-in/house-sit/boarding) request - if we are a good match I am confident we can find the right arrangement for your pets needs. I recognize that your fluff-butts are part of your family, and pride myself on the ability to make them feel loved and comfortable while in my care. Photos & videos are consistently sent along with scheduled updates - you will NEVER have to wonder if your pet is happy with me! If booking a longer stay, I prefer to iron out all details of your request with an hourly schedule so there is no room for confusion or misunderstanding. It is my first priority to make sure pet parents know that their baby is in the best hands so they can enjoy their time apart.

About: I have experience walking elderly dogs and younger ones. I started walking dogs when I was in middle school, and I absolutely love all dogs and will care for your baby! I have pet sit many cats and love them, and I have experience with smaller animals as well. I work full time M-F 8-4. I am able to check on your pet in the evenings or in the early morning, and on the weekends Given my experience, I am very careful with walking dogs and I am sure to never walk them near a busy road and always look both ways before I cross the street. If caring for your pet at home, I leave things as I found them, clean up after myself and your pet, and treat your area with respect.

I’ve been dog sitting for years and I have been working at Sydney’s pet resort as a supervisor for 4 years now! I have experience giving all animals medication and will help animals with any medical issues they may have! About: I am currently an educator at Sedgwick County Zoo and have experience working at doggy daycares and vet clinics. I have a true passion for animals and value respect and kindness above all else. I am also experienced in positive reinforcement training and am trained to safely break up dog fights, administer canine medication, and restrain a variety of domestic animals My schedule will be a bit unpredictable over the coming months, but please feel free to reach out! I can definitely say that mornings are always doable, but nights will be tricker to manage depending on the week. If your pet has a rigid feeding schedule and gets dinner after 5:30PM, you will probably need to look elsewhere for a sitter for any time slot prior to November 1st I always make sure to provide proper care and closely follow any instructions given. I am happy to provide walks, give dinners, administer medications, and provide any extra care that may be desired. With my experience working in a dog daycare, I am familiar with all sorts of special needs care for older and disabled dogs. I have a little bit less experience with cats, but I am happy to learn!
About: I've taken care of dogs of every kind since I was 10. Neighbors, friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed and bathe their pets. I am currently in school still but get out early. Working with wild animals means I have a much deeper understanding of animal husbandry, psychology, and behavior that allows me to provide better care for your pet! I'm especially comfortable around and handling large dogs due to the nature of my job. Professionally, I have cared for a variety of wild animals including large cats like lions, tigers, and leopards, dolphins, seals and sea lions, and several canid species. That being said, I'm able to provide a deeper level of personalized care. I currently work 5 days a week, usually Wednesday-Sunday. On my weekend, I'm home all day. On my workdays, I'm able to leave during lunch to provide dogs with potty breaks. There is a dog park within walking distance of my apartment that I bring my dogs to every morning and evening. I do also have a dog potty set up inside my apartment just in case a dog can't wait for me to get home. I provide this because I personally wouldn't make myself hold it, so I would never force a dog to do the same. I provide a very safe, relaxing environment where your dog will be treated like family. I approach care with a proactive approach, rather than reactive. This means I always keep a close eye on individual pet behavior as subtle cues can indicate how a pet is feeling at a given moment. Many pet owners miss out on these cues, especially if they aren't trained to look for them. Overall, this means I try my best to create a safe environment for and trusting bond with any animal I work with via positive reinforcement and never push past an individual's limits.

About: I’ve been around almost every kind of dog in my life, from little small wiener dogs to Great Danes and pits. I enjoy dogs with a passion, I truly love their loyalty towards their owner. No matter how hard your day is once you come home it’s the best greeting you’ll ever get. Can’t say that about to many things nor people now can you. So I’m getting ready to head to the airforce very soon and I need to find a way to have money coming in before I leave. About: I’ve been taking care of pets ever since I was a young girl. My parents would often foster kittens to which I would help and learn. When I was 11 and moved to Florida, I started to connect with my neighbors and created relationships where they trusted me enough to care for their pets and stay in their home. With experience in both dog and cat care, elderly and young, I’ve learned how to give medicine, understand what they need, and how to love them unconditionally. As a mom of two cat babes, I understand the need for a loving presence when you cannot be there for your own animals and would love to be able to be that for anyone else. Currently I work part-time with time to spare at home for pet care. I already spend many hours at home with my own fur babies, so I wouldn’t mind at all splitting that time with others staying in the house! Saturdays I work an 8 hour shift, but any other day is wide open. I have two cats in my home, and they have free roam of the house. I am not one to restrict where pets can and cannot go since this is their first time living as well and are curious creatures. If I have a dog with me, then I try to be where they are, providing supervision and company.
