About: I've had pets my whole life, and that is not limited to just cats and dogs. A guinea pig I was gifted as a young child ignited my love and passion for living creatures. Since then I've loved animals of all shapes and sizes. I’ve worked at a pet store as their go-to animal care woman. I’ve cared for small mammals and reptiles and LOTS of fish. I've always, always had cats and dogs at home, including now. I've worked for other dog walking and daycare companies, and I have experience with dogs of all shapes and sizes, from an 80-pound dane mix to a 15-pound French bulldog. I haven't met an animal yet that I didn't learn to love. I'm not a squeamish person, so whatever you need me to do for your pet, I will do my absolute best. I have been around them my whole life and wouldn't want it any other way. I come from a large, mostly rural dwelling family, my grandma had 11 kids 2/3 of which have at least 1 or more dog(s) including my mom. I've always had my own and/or lived with roommates/friends/family, that have/had dog(s) in every house I've lived from day 1 to the present. Although I can't say I've taken care of every breed out there (doubt that many people can) I have definitely seen my fair share of mutts and purebreds alike; from Corgis to Chihuahuas, Danes to Dobermans, Lhasa Apsos to Shar Peis, and even a couple of wolves (3/4 mixes) as well as a few rodents, cats, reptiles, arachnid and birds. Big or small I love "em all, but if you forced me to pick a favorite I'd have to go with the affectionate yet intimidating Perro de Presa Canario. I have no problem following any regimented food or medication delivered to the animals. About: Hello, How it all began. I grew up in a rural setting with multiple dogs, indoor and outdoor cats and for a few years chickens. One specific dog named Maxine was a beautiful intelligent, gentle Doberman that stole my heart. The bond I shared with her was special and she was my best friend. I knew from a young age I wanted to take care of animals. Fast forward, I'm a parent to 3 active kids, 2 sleepy cats, and 2 dogs (Pablo & Van). Over the past 10 years we've had a guinea pig, dwarf frogs, a hamster, and a Betta fish as well. A few years ago our family fostered 11 sweet dogs and 2 kittens. We have done in home care for a friends pup when they went out of town. My oldest daughter and I volunteered at the Lawrence Humane Society in the past for a year. Our big family of animal lovers would love to care for your pet. I work from home each week. This gives me ample availability to care for your pet. My husband is also available multiple days a week and our two high schoolers are usually home in the evenings each day to give extra snuggles to your pet. We have a fenced in backyard. The back fence wall is a 6ft privacy fence, the side fences are chain link. They will have access to the backyard at any time.

About: I love dogs, they are phenomenal and loving, it just seemed to fit that the understanding of dog behavior was the next step. I've been caring for dogs in my neighborhood and advising pup parents on their dog behavior and offering insight for years. I have three beautiful dogs that are all off leash trained and positive behavior trained. Our fur friends are not pets they are companions. I can't wait to meet your companion! About: I’ve been caring for dogs since I could walk. I showed dogs in 4H as a child. And have owned a dog the entirety of my adult life. My Great Pyrenees is a school therapy dog. I also have a maltipoo and foster dogs in need. I love all dogs and look forward to providing the care they need. My daily routine is most open on weekends. I work 8-4 but close enough to home to make lunch time stops too. After work, I love lounging around and going on walks. I have two dogs of my own as well as a foster currently. My yard is fenced. I also utilize kennels when away for my maltipoo and foster.
“This was my 2nd time using the rover service and 2nd time leaving my fur baby with Magen. It was no surprise that she was amazing! My pup barely even noticed me and was walking towards the door to go inside without me even getting to say goodbye first, lol. She sent me updates & photos throughout the visit and it was only for one night this time. Communication has always been good and drop off/pick up both were good! About: I have had a dog all my life. Professionally in shelter industry for 12 years with all training courses. I am a certified dog trainer in Goodpup, certified in small animal vet assistant. I specialize in behavior modification, puppy training w and socialization and play activity. I am available 7 days a week. Day care is available with doggy play dates. My pet has been around cats and loves other dogs. I live in an apartment with dog park and trails. My dog loves all dogs and playing with other dogs. I also have a large kennel and expert in house training.
