We were visiting in Hutchinson, KS and our dog Elmer stayed overnight with Sam, his roommate and Trapper, a high energy, playful and very friendly dog. The two dogs meshed well wonderfully and got “lots of exercise” and play time. This was Elmer’s first night away from us as he is a recent adoptee and apparently he didn’t seem to miss us one bit. About: Experienced Pet Caretaker: From Puppies' Playtime to Senior Pill Prowess! I have cared for many puppies, as well as our Seniors. I love to play with the puppies, however, I love making sure the seniors get the cuddles and treats they desire! I have a senior in my own home and administer daily pills, multiple times per day. I also have a pitbull puppy who will run herself ragged outside while chasing balls, gardening, and just running around. She also loves hikes and walks! I run my own massage business for in home massage. I am only working three days a week for a few hours at a time. Taking care of the pets is really easy with my schedule! I can carve out as much time as they might need in my day. I aim to keep there routine as normal as possible. I am very flexible in making sure I can do that! I personally feed my own dogs two times per day (morning and night). I have crated my dogs at night for many years, but that is because they love their space. I don't mind having the animals out and about if that is what they prefer! I love to take my own animals on several walks per day, especially with apartment living! We can do anything from short walks to long hikes. I also have had to give my own dogs medications and am no stranger to senior care.

I have worked as a dog and catsitter for family members and friends of family, so I have a lot of experience with different pets. About: I grew up with large and small dogs and cats. Around 5 years ago I learned to care for an elderly mostly blind, and def dog who had seizures up until she passed. I am fairly strong so if needed I can carry animals up and down stares or just in general if needed. I work great with elderly dogs especially ones who need extra care. About: I've been taking care of pets for family, friends, and neighbors for years. I grew up around dogs and have yet to meet one that doesn't like me. Through the years, I've taken care of all types of dogs and cats; from young, crazy pups to old, sick dogs and from ornery mostly outdoor cats to snuggly kitties that want to use me as a bed. My other job is remote, so my schedule is very flexible for whatever your pet may need. Weekends or weekdays doesn't make much of a difference. I'm also a morning person, so early morning walks, feedings, etc are perfectly fine! For boarding, I have one pet friendly roommate and dog. The dog is so cat friendly that she annoys some cats by trying to convince them to play. My yard is fenced, but there is currently a damaged section that has been covered with temporary plastic fencing. The damage will be repaired soon and until then, I don't let anyone out there without supervision. For house sitting or drop-ins, I treat your pets the way I would want mine treated. I also try to match any routines your pet might be used to, if it's eating at a certain time or always being let out at a certain time, just let me know and I'll make sure to keep things as familiar as possible for your furry friends.
