Personalized care for your dog or cat - Saxman

“Kathy took great care of our dog while we were away! She sent lots of photo updates and was very communicative. She handled an unexpected behavior issue with patience and professionalism, and even gave us trainer recommendations. We really appreciated her care and would happily book with her again!”

“This was our first experience with Rover and therefore our first experience with Sam. We just have to say we could not be more pleased. We were visiting in Hutchinson, KS and our dog Elmer stayed overnight with Sam, his roommate and Trapper, a high energy, playful and very friendly dog. The two dogs meshed well wonderfully and got “lots of exercise” and play time. This was Elmer’s first night away from us as he is a recent adoptee and apparently he didn’t seem to miss us one bit. Sam was great about sending frequent updates and pictures while hosting Elmer which really helped alleviate any concerns we had. We wholeheartedly recommend Sam and would have no reservations about using his services again!”

“Everything was great. Our babies were well cared for.”

“Jake was awesome!! Would give him 10 stars if I could. I had peace of mind while traveling knowing my four legged kids were being well cared for. When I came to pick them up they almost didn’t wanna go home with me!! Thank you Jake!!!”

About: I love dogs, and I have experience in owning large and small dogs. Right now, I have one mini dachshund who loves having friends. My job and schedule are also very flexible. I currently work full-time with a mix of working from home and in the office, but my office is 5 minutes from my house, and my schedule is very flexible. I have a fenced yard, one mini dachshund who loves to play and relax, and I allow dogs on the furniture. My dog and I go on frequent walks, depending on the weather, if backyard play isn't enough for your dog.

“We have tried boarding our dog in a kennel before and it was obvious he did not have a good time. When we went to pick him up from Janet's, he was so happy and I could tell he had a so much fun! It was such a great experience and a relief to know our baby was safe and happy while we were away. Janet was very easy to work with and provided updates and photos for us.”

“We left Maggie with Alexis, Luke and Winston (Maggie’s new best friend) for two weeks. Alexis provided pictures and updates. I could see that Maggie was having a great time. They were flexible on the time that we could pick her up, and greeted us with smiles and a very happy dog. It was great to hear how much fun Maggie had with Winston. We will definitely use Alexis and Luke again.”

“Sam is great with our adult cat. Takes the time to brush her when he visits and help us out by bringing in packages. Highly recommend.”

“Charlotte is the sitter and she is the only Rover sitter I will consider the next time I need her services. I can not recommend any other sitter but her. I appreciate her for being available at such short notice. For my first time using Rover.com I'm very happy.”

“Savannah did a great job checking on our kitties and was easy to communicate with! 5/5”

“Kathy was absolutely wonderful with my pug, Salvy! She was so kind and welcoming, and I felt completely comfortable leaving him with her. She sent me tons of pictures throughout the day, and Salvy looked so relaxed and right at home. We were in a bit of an unusual situation and only needed someone to watch him for a few hours while we were at the State Fair so my daughter could compete in the pedal pull. Kathy made the whole thing so easy and gave me one less thing to worry about on a really special day for us. Salvy clearly had a wonderful time, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I would absolutely book with Kathy again.”

“What can I say? Mary you are awesome! I feel you went above and beyond to make my dogs time with you the best! I could tell from the pics that she enjoyed her time with you and your dogs. Thank you again!”

About: I’ve been caring for animals since I was young. Growing up on a farm taught me how to look after all kinds of animals, and over the years family, friends, and neighbors have trusted me to care for theirs whenever they’re away. My dogs are like kids to me, so I understand how important it is to treat someone else’s animals with the same love and attention they get at home. I’m available full‑time to care for your animals and would love to welcome them into my home! I’ll make sure they’re comfortable, safe, and well‑loved while you’re away. I have a fully fenced backyard and two small dogs who would love the company. If you prefer, I can keep them completely separated, and I’m also happy to use a crate if that’s what your dog is most comfortable with.

“Harlee had an amazing time with Ms Janet! We will be visiting her and her fur babies when we are back in town. Janet was very responsive and handles dogs really well. I highly recommend her to pet sit.”

About: I've been taking care of pets for family, friends, and neighbors for years. I grew up around dogs and have yet to meet one that doesn't like me. Through the years, I've taken care of all types of dogs and cats; from young, crazy pups to old, sick dogs and from ornery mostly outdoor cats to snuggly kitties that want to use me as a bed. My other job is remote, so my schedule is very flexible for whatever your pet may need. Weekends or weekdays doesn't make much of a difference. I'm also a morning person, so early morning walks, feedings, etc are perfectly fine! For boarding, I have one pet friendly roommate and dog. The dog is so cat friendly that she annoys some cats by trying to convince them to play. My yard is fenced, but there is currently a damaged section that has been covered with temporary plastic fencing. The damage will be repaired soon and until then, I don't let anyone out there without supervision. For house sitting or drop-ins, I treat your pets the way I would want mine treated. I also try to match any routines your pet might be used to, if it's eating at a certain time or always being let out at a certain time, just let me know and I'll make sure to keep things as familiar as possible for your furry friends.

About: I have taken care of pets since I can remember and love getting to know new animals personalities and playing with them. I have plenty of time to devote to your fur babies. I do mostly gig work and am home and available for most of the day. I am available to take care of pets all day almost everyday and enjoy taking care of and meeting new pets. I have a fenced yard and an unbusy street to allow your sweet baby all sorts of walks and playtime outside. I have plenty of experience with administering dogs medicine and crating them, if needed.
