About: I offer a loving, playful, and safe environment, and pay attention to needs of our pets with walks and outside playtime. We take frequent walks at the park nearby for extra exercise. About: What sets me apart is my hands-on animal care background. I previously worked as a zookeeper, where I cared for many different animal species and was responsible for daily feeding, cleaning, medication administration, and monitoring overall health and behavior. I also helped train animals for medical care, which taught me patience, consistency, and how to recognize signs of stress, discomfort, or illness. On top of that, I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life, so I’m very comfortable with dogs of all sizes, ages, and personalities. Pet care fits really well into my weekly routine. I coach Gymnastics Monday through Thursday, but I have a few open gaps throughout the day that allow me to stop by for check-ins, potty breaks, walks, feeding, and medication if needed. I also have Friday through Sunday off, which gives me much more flexibility for longer visits, extra walks, overnight care, and weekend house sitting. Since my schedule has built-in availability during the week and open weekends, I’m able to give pets consistent attention without feeling rushed. About: I come from a farm happy family and managed a doggy daycare, with extensive work in animal rescue. I have dealt with just about any animal you can imagine. Dogs, cats, horses, goats, guinea pigs, fish, snakes, birds, etc. Not only that but I also have two fur baby's of my own, a black lab and a golden retriever. I have had my lab since he was about 2, and my golden retriever I got when she was about 12 weeks old. I love animals and am just looking to fill some of my free time and earn a little extra cash. My lab has since passed due to old age in 2019 but my golden loves the occasional company! I do work M-F and would be out of the home from 715am-5pm. I work full time for a nonprofit in Ottawa, so I am out of the house from 715am-5pm. I love going on walks and being outside before and after work! Although I can't say I've taken care of every breed out there (doubt that many people can) I have definitely seen my fair share of mutts and purebreds alike; from Corgis to Chihuahuas, Danes to Dobermans, Lhasa Apsos to Shar Peis, and even a couple of wolves (3/4 mixes) as well as a few rodents, cats, reptiles, arachnid and birds. Big or small I love "em all, but if you forced me to pick a favorite I'd have to go with the affectionate yet intimidating Perro de Presa Canario. For my in home services, I have a yard that is set up with individual fenced areas, as well as having 4.5 acres that will soon be fully fenced in! For those bigger dogs who want to be able to run and stretch their legs more.I have two of my own dogs as well, as company for those who would enjoy a playmate. We do crate all guests for bedtime and meals. This ensures everyone can eat at their own pace, and in a safe environment. Same for bedtime. While we understand that your pet may sleep loose at home, we typically have guests from multiple households. Safety is our #1 priority and we don’t want to risk an issue overnight.
About: Hello!! My name is Maisy. I have worked in various different animal related jobs for the last 5 years, I worked at a doggie daycare/boarding facility and I currently am a dog trainer. I have experience with both puppies and elderly dog as well as cats, reptiles, birds, and farm animals. I also am open to limited contact boarding for people reacting dogs and can do crate rotation for dog reactive dogs away from mine. I work in the evenings 4 days a week so I spend the mornings/afternoons out playing with the pups then they take naps in kennels while I’m at work and we play some more when I get home. I also can move my dogs kennels out of the “dog room” and your dog can just stay in there instead of a kennel if they are more comfortable that way. I have 5 dogs that are very active and friendly. I have a fenced in yard the dogs love to run around in and inside we have lots of toys and comfy places to take naps (which will be put up if there are problems). If I’m not at home or at night all dogs will be kenneled for safety.

About: Located on 10 acres in rural Hoyt, Kansas, Hughes & Hounds provides a spacious safe haven for your furry family members. Our set-up, previously used for dog breeding, includes two (working on three) spacious backyard pens that are the full package deal, including: big shade trees, big water bowls, a doggie igloo and free doggie treats (if you approve of course!). Please note that our dog daycare and boarding services are OUTDOOR ONLY and really for farm/outside dogs, bigger dogs, or dogs with high energy. We will accept any sized dog as long as they’re used to staying outside during the day! With two young kids in the home, we will only bring your dogs inside if the owner provides a crate and only if requested for night time (with the exception of severe weather where they would be crated indoors as well). I work a few afternoons a week, so I will be able to check on your furry pals often during their week & weekend stays with us. We are flexible and want to make sure your wishes are heard. So if you want us to play with your dogs, send you pictures, give treats - we are here for it. But if your dog prefers to not be bothered too much and is good with the essentials - we are here for that too. You tell us how we can provide the most comfortable atmosphere for your dogs. As far as experience goes, I've been a dog sitter on and off from elementary school through college and have volunteered lots of hours to our local shelter.... I love dogs and they're in good hands! :) This is a NEW and fun business adventure for our small family and we do not take it lightly! I only work a few afternoons a week, and my husband gets home before me during those days, so there’s only about 3-4 hour stretches of time we would be gone during the week. Due to this, we feel confident that we can take good care of your dog(s) while they stay here. Since we have the space we thought "why not?" when it came to the idea of dog boarding. We were not using our back 3 pens, other than allowing our dogs to roam them. There were some escape artists when the pens were originally used for breeding, so safety features include covered corners so dogs are unable to climb up and out using the corner fencing. Cement was also laid around the boundaries of the pens so digging cannot occur. If your dog likes to jump fences that would be a concern and a reason why we may not be a good fit for you. Of course, plenty of cold, fresh water will always be available to your dog(s) during their stay.

About: I’ve been taking care of pets from as long as I can remember. I grew up with dogs, I currently have 3, whom I love dearly. Meeting new pets and taking care of them make me extremely happy. About: I’ve taken care of dogs for a very long time. I own a cockapoo named BaeLee and she is the sweetest dog you’ll ever meet. I now own 2 dogs: Benito and Bernie. Benito is a Rottweiler mix and Bernie is a lab/pitbull. I adopted both from the shelter and have loved my new additions to my family. I take care of my family’s and friend’s dogs all the time from watching them, playing with them, feeding them, and walking them. I am very good with dogs and can be very patient if I need to be. “We were so happy to find Yana. We needed boarding for 4 days while we were out of town. The boys looked like they felt right at home when we dropped them off. They had the perfect fenced in yard to play in. And from the pictures Yana sent to us it looked like they were family pets. We were very pleased with the care and attention Yana gave our westie boys.”

About: Friends and family have relied on me to check in with, feeding and playing with their pets. And even sometimes have play dates with my dog. I’m currently trying to find things to keep me busy there out the week/weekends so I’ll have plenty of time to play with your pups. I’m available during the week and weekends at any time. I have two friendly pets to keep your fur baby company.crate your dog if needed I have a labradoodle. She is two years old and I have a Sphynx cat, which is four years old.
“Maisy did a great job with Ruby (and with me). She sent me a text with pictures of Ruby making friends on the first day and a little information about how she was doing. I got another text from Maisy the next morning to let me know how Rugy had done during the night. I really appreciated the update. This was the first day of my vacation, so I was not able to get Ruby myself, but my daughter got her. She said Ruby was glad to see her but would also have gone back to play with the other dogs if she had been allowed to : ) I will happily ask Maisy to look after her again when the need arises. Sorry this is so long in coming, but I only returned from my trip yesterday.”
About: I offer a loving, playful, and safe environment, and pay attention to needs of our pets with walks and outside playtime. We take frequent walks at the park nearby for extra exercise. I am home on weekends and take frequent walks and outdoor time with my 2 year old Bernedoodle. She loves to play with other dogs and very friendly. I have a large fenced in backyard for plenty of outdoor time and potty breaks. Nice home with plenty of space for pet relaxation and downtime. Feeding schedule determined by you.

“Felicity was great! This was our first time leaving our dogs with someone who wasn't family, so I was very nervous! Felicity did a wonderful job not only taking great care of our boys, but also sending pictures and updates so that my worries were put at ease throughout the time we were gone. She also made drop off/pick up very easy. I tried my best to give her an accurate window of when I'd be there, and she was ready and waiting both times. My dogs came home with what looked like smiles on their faces and exhausted from getting to play with her two dogs the entire weekend! 🥰💖 Thank you Felicity!”
