About: I grew up on a farm in Kansas, have a degree in Biology and have been around animals my entire life. Anyone who knows me, will attest that I pay lots of attention to their pets. I have been asked to watch houses and pets for years by family and friends who don't trust anyone else. I have kept dogs, cats, sheep, cows, ducks, fish, reptiles, spiders, insects, birds and lizards as pets. I normally work a 9-5 schedule Monday through Friday and live alone in Rose Hill, KS. Most evenings I go for a walk when it cools down because I love being outdoors. On my walks, I usually end up petting several neighborhood dogs and cats that eagerly await my attention. In general, I try to observe and match the energy level and interests of a particular pet. My day job involves going into lots of homes with pets. I get plenty of practice meeting new pets and needing to win them over fast.

We currently have three adopted pups from the Kansas Humane Society, and over the past three years we’ve also fostered 11 dogs through KHS — including 5 puppies. I'm excited to spend time with lovable animals, play fetch, brush coats and give lots of pets. I wake up early with my son before I see him off to school, so pets get breakfast around 8am. I make sure to give attention to all my animals as well as playtime as needed. Frequent potty breaks are provided and usually include short games of fetch or chase. Around 3pm when my son gets home from school we like to take a walk around the neighborhood for a little enrichment. In the evening pets are fed again around 6pm. I usually give a good brush to everyone and make sure to give thorough pets and a few treats before bedtime. I have a fenced yard without any holes to escape. I have a playful puppy to keep your fur babies company. When new animals I arrive I have a spare room set up as a safe place for them. Boarding is a little different since I have three large dogs in my household, but they are friendly and playful and would love to have furry friends!
About: I worked at a boarding kennel for about a year (Andover boarding kennel) and since then I have been watching dogs, cats, birds etc ever since. It is a passion to work with animals and help people give their fur babies attention when their schedules don’t allow for it as often as they’d like to. I currently work for Derby Police Department and treat everyone’s fur babies as my own while they stay with me. I give my undivided attention to each and every pet as well as getting them worn out from all of the playing. If the owners will allow it, my dogs and cats are very sweet and love to play with other dogs so there are opportunities for socializing as well! You’ll always get updates through pictures during their stay with me as well as some extra spoiling. I work Monday through Friday 0800-1700, but I still ensure lots of play time and socializing happens during their stay! I also work training into their stay if there are any bad habits families would like their babies to stay away from or commands they'd like them to become more familiar with. This is done through positive reinforcement with treats and lots of praise. I have a specific room for the dogs to be crated. It’s climate controlled, a quiet location so they can feel comfortable and not at all anxious. Dogs and cats do not have access to any toxic chemicals or things that would harm them. Treats, food and toys are always approved by the owner so they know what their fur babies are ingesting and/or playing with.

About: I fell in love with dogs at 6 years old when we adopted a Cocker Spaniel, Heidi. After graduating from KU I was finally able to adopt my own, Lola. Since our German Shepherd Kylee passed in 2020 we have especially enjoyed caring for fur babies in our home. My sons are 8 and 10 and are, of course, also huge animal lovers. I’d love to adopt again, but right now we are soaking up all the cuddles from new and returning furry friends. Caring for pups brings us so much joy. About: "I’ve taken care of dogs of every kind since I was 10. Neighbors, friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed and bathe their pets..i have experience with disabled animals as well. I work for the school district and home early daily. If I'm not home my mother is. We also are able to schedule around each other if needed so that somebody is always home. Fenced in yard over a half acres. I'm typically outside in the backyard with the dogs working on my flower gardens, during the summer I have dog pools, play ball and just love being with my four-legged friends.

About: Our house is full of dog lovers! My husband has had pets his entire life. Our daughter's best friends are our THREE huskies. She is an aspiring Vet! Our dogs are our fur-babies. They have special places in our hearts. They are allowed on furniture and in the bed, as it should be! Have dog sit friend's dogs and they love the attention they get when staying over. We have a fenced in yard for freedom play. Your dog will get tons of attention from our family of humans and huskies! It may take a few minutes for our dogs to get a feel for each other, but they are playful and love meeting new friends!! Meet and Greet welcome before we schedule a stay, let out or walk! Our dogs get free roam of the house. They are kenneled if needed. They are usually let out after 4 hours, and at least every 4 hours there after. The dogs will always be on a leash if we go outside the house or yard. Otherwise, time will be spent in the house or in the fenced in backyard.
About: Well rounded pet care taker/sitter. Experience caring for animals such as dogs to horses. Many years of house, pet, and property sitting. More than willing to work requests or specific tasks that your companion may need or is a part of their schedule. I am available to care for your pet(s) anytime between 6:00 am - 11:00 pm any day of the week that are available on my Rover Schedule. Please let me know if there is anything more I could do for you and your companion(s). Allowing your pet(s) to adjust to a new environment (or person) is very important. At this time I am not providing daycare or boarding. As a standard, I expect to be able to walk your companion(s) around their own neighborhood or environment that they are comfortable with. If I were to pet sit in a client’s home the utmost respect for property and privacy would be carried out. I would request specific instructions to where I am to be in the home at all times. All services would still be carried out to the same standards. Currently, I do not stay overnight while house or dog sitting.
