About: Hi! I’m a reliable, experienced pet care provider with a flexible schedule and hands-on experience with dogs of all personalities, including those who are shy or slow to warm up. I’ve worked closely with behavioral specialists, so I’m comfortable reading dog body language, following care instructions, and managing different routines or environments. Whether your pup needs a friendly face for walks, check-ins, or companionship while you’re away, I take pride in providing thoughtful, stress-free care. I’m organized, attentive to details, and always prioritize safety and comfort—wherever your dog is happiest. Remote job, flexible schedule. Monday-Friday only, weekends are generally open outside of planned events and activities. I finish work at 5pm daily, but it's a very adaptable work routine. When it comes to care routines, I'm consistent and structured. I typically do potty breaks at minimum every two hours and provide walks one to two times daily, adjusting the length based on each dog's energy level and preferences. Fresh water and food are always available unless you specify otherwise. I keep my own dog separate from visiting dogs unless they've had time to become familiar with each other, which helps everyone feel more secure.

About: Hi, I’m Sarah! I’m 18 years old and have been passionate about animals my entire life. Growing up with both dogs and cats, and currently owning four dogs of my own, I’ve developed a strong understanding of different personalities, routines, and care needs. I currently work at a local dog daycare in Lawrence, where I care for dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments. My experience includes supervising group play, feeding, administering medications, monitoring behavior, and providing individualized care. Whether your pet is energetic, shy, senior, or requires extra attention, I’m confident in providing safe, compassionate care tailored to their needs. I’m also an experienced cat caregiver and understand that every cat has a unique personality. From social and affectionate cats to more independent or timid ones, I take the time to help each pet feel comfortable and secure. I recently graduated high school and will be attending JCCC this fall to pursue a pre-veterinary track. My goal is to build a lifelong career working with animals, and I genuinely love every opportunity to care for them. My boyfriend, Cameron, accompanies me during pet-sitting visits. If you would prefer that I come alone, just let me know. You’re always welcome to meet both of us beforehand so you can feel completely comfortable. When caring for your pets, I treat them as if they were my own. Their safety, comfort, happiness, and well-being are always my top priorities, and I’ll make sure you receive regular updates while you’re away.
About: I come from a farm happy family and managed a doggy daycare, with extensive work in animal rescue. I have dealt with just about any animal you can imagine. Dogs, cats, horses, goats, guinea pigs, fish, snakes, birds, etc. Not only that but I also have two fur baby's of my own, a black lab and a golden retriever. I have had my lab since he was about 2, and my golden retriever I got when she was about 12 weeks old. I love animals and am just looking to fill some of my free time and earn a little extra cash. My lab has since passed due to old age in 2019 but my golden loves the occasional company! I do work M-F and would be out of the home from 715am-5pm. I work full time for a nonprofit in Ottawa, so I am out of the house from 715am-5pm. I love going on walks and being outside before and after work! On the weekends aside from some errands I would be around. I take animal safety very seriously, especially after managing a doggy daycare, things can be unpredictable. I take extreme caution, and pay attention to all the signs your pet is giving me along with your requests to ensure they have a fun, safe time while in my care.
About: I’ve had pets my whole life (I’m 60) except for the last 7 years. I love loving on sweet animals. I’ve had dogs and cats, puppies and kittens, big dogs and little dogs. Love them all! I work full time but can work remotely, if necessary. Otherwise, I’m home most of the time. I have a fenced backyard that is small. My home is a single story. I could also pet sit in the pets own home so they are familiar with their surroundings. My yard is fenced and I don’t currently have any pets living in the home. Your pet would get all of my attention. I’m easy going and patient and adaptable to your pet’s needs.
About: I've had dogs my entirely life and I can confidently say they are my favorite animal. Throughout my life I have been heavily involved with different types of animal care, such as volunteering at the humane society and pet sitting for friends and family. I have experience taking care of dogs with various illnesses, and I have also cared for and had puppies. My favorite part about pet care is being able to spend time with and bond with a variety of animals and make them feel as safe and secure as possible while their owners are away. I hope you are able to consider me for watching your pet, I would love to do so! Pet care works great with my routine and schedule. I currently work remotely with other occasional gig jobs, so being stuck at a 9-5 will not get in the way of any pet care services. Meeting your pets where they are is very important to me. Whether they have had a bunch of sitters, or I am their first one, I will make sure to make them as happy and comfortable as I can. Enrichment for animals Is something I view as a high priority, so making time for plenty of walks and play will be a large focus of mine. On top of that, I would love to have housesitting be an opportunity to bond with your animals. As I do not currently have any pets, I really cherish any time I can spend with them and will ensure they are as loved as can be !

Perfect for high energy dogs - Richland

“Our third review and keeps with same energy: COCOA LOVES COMING HERE! We thoroughly trust Brandin and his spouse Diane with our baby girl's overall experience. We ain't going anywhere else!”

About: I’ve been a lifelong animal lover and have been caring for pets since childhood. I grew up with both cats and dogs, including a Maltese, and currently share my home with an Australian Shepherd–Brittany Spaniel mix and my cat Josie. I have rescued two former outdoor/stray cats who I named Mabel and Astrid. One lives with my Grandpa while the other was given to my cousin! My favorite side-quests are animal rescuing! 😄 Alongside this, I’ve raised puppies and kittens of all ages, cared for senior pets, given medication, and even rescued a squirrel once (my ultimate side quest!). As said, I’ve occasionally helped strays by feeding and socializing them over the years, which has taught me patience, gentleness, and how to read animal body language. Professionally, I work in the behavioral health field, with over five years in Applied Behavioral Analysis as a behavior tech and a year as a mental health therapist student. I naturally apply those skills when working with animals by reading into the “unsaid.” Whether that is helping an anxious dog feel safe, reinforcing positive behaviors, or calmly navigating new environments, I am ready! I understand that pets are family. I prioritize safety, consistency, and clear communication so you can feel fully at ease while your pet is in my care. Whether your pet needs playtime, structure, cuddles, or space, I’m attentive to their individual personality and needs, and I genuinely love making sure every furry friend feels happy and understood. I am available to provide pet care services anytime between May 12 and July 12, 2026. During this period, I can accommodate flexible schedules and multiple visits per week, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings. I prioritize consistency and routine for pets, ensuring they receive regular feeding, exercise, and attention. After July 13, 2026, I will be working full-time and will only be able to accept a limited number of clients for very minimal days, so I plan to carefully manage my schedule to maintain high-quality care and attention for each pet. I prioritize safety, trust, and a positive environment for every pet in my care. I ensure secure spaces, supervise playtime, and maintain a calm and structured routine. I tailor care to each pet’s individual personality and needs, whether that means cuddles, exercise, or quiet time. I am attentive to subtle behavioral cues and changes, thanks to my background in behavioral health, and I always communicate clearly with pet owners to ensure they feel confident and comfortable with my care.
“This is the 2nd year I've had my dog cared for by Kelsey & family during an extended visit to Topeka. I couldn't be happier, knowing that she's in such good & loving hands and making new friends when she's there. I'm so grateful and we look forward to continued bookings whenever we're in the area!”

About: I have had dogs in my home for almost my whole life. I have a pug, golden retriever, and a mutt that are all a couple years apart in age. For two years, I volunteered at a humane society where I walked and cared for dogs of all kinds. Senior, puppy, sick, I have a lot of experience and I would love to get more! I’m currently working at a golf course near Forest Lake. My schedule for work comes out weekly, so I’m unaware what my weeks look like well in advance. I don’t like to do this, but if your pups are able to be home for about 6-8, then this would be a great fit! Obviously I wouldn’t work every day of the week, so I will be available to give them my full attention. Your pups are my priority and I wouldn’t want them to feel uncomfortable with my wack work schedule in any way. My shifts will either be 6-2 or 2-9, or shorter. I prioritize respect for your space and routines. Whether your pet prefers potty breaks in a fenced yard or leashed walks, I’ll follow your preferences to keep them comfortable and safe.
About: I have been a professional trainer, handler and groomer for over a decade, providing excellent care for dogs, cats and other pets of all ages, sizes and care needs. I am also available for livestock care, with over two decades of experience with horses, cattle and most other hoofstock and flocks. I offer these services full time, so no need to worry about another job conflicting with your pet’s needs while in my care. I am able to devote my schedule to them. For my in home services, I have a yard that is set up with individual fenced areas, as well as having 4.5 acres that will soon be fully fenced in! For those bigger dogs who want to be able to run and stretch their legs more.I have two of my own dogs as well, as company for those who would enjoy a playmate. We do crate all guests for bedtime and meals. This ensures everyone can eat at their own pace, and in a safe environment. Same for bedtime. While we understand that your pet may sleep loose at home, we typically have guests from multiple households. Safety is our #1 priority and we don’t want to risk an issue overnight.
About: I grew up with dogs and cats, took care of them and have a great passion for animals. I’ve had my own pets since 2007 (2 cats and a dog). Since 2020 I have fostered animals for a local shelter including dogs, puppies as young as 6 months, and kittens as young as 5 weeks. I have basic experience in dog training. I’m currently working on a part-time contract basis so my schedule is very flexible and I would love to help you care for your pet(s). I am available daily with a set schedule to accommodate your needs. I am an experienced foster of dogs and kittens. I have a dedicated space (spare bedroom) to keep any animals separate from mine, but if they are dog and cat friendly they could be free roaming in the house when I am home. I have a cable for supervised potty time in the yard. I am experienced with crate training. I am clean and professional, respecting your space and routines in your home.
“Regan was amazing with my puppy. She sent me multiple updates throughout the days, fed my dog, took her potty, played, etc.. while I was at work. I plan on using her again :)”

I have experience with both puppies and elderly dog as well as cats, reptiles, birds, and farm animals. I also am open to limited contact boarding for people reacting dogs and can do crate rotation for dog reactive dogs away from mine. I work in the evenings 4 days a week so I spend the mornings/afternoons out playing with the pups then they take naps in kennels while I’m at work and we play some more when I get home. I also can move my dogs kennels out of the “dog room” and your dog can just stay in there instead of a kennel if they are more comfortable that way. I have 5 dogs that are very active and friendly. Tamber watched our dog when we came into town for a football game and was great to work with- communicated well and was very accommodating. She sent us info during her stay and even sent us a video of her playing in the fenced in yard. We highly suggest letting Tamber take care of your dog!”

I am currently working part time as a kitchen assistant so I am only available at certain times during the week. Also there are some days where I will have to work full time and sometimes my schedule changes the day of. I would try to keep any previous schedule that had been set for the client’s pets. I would walk and play with them as necessary. It would be my goal to make this easy on both the owners and the pets.

About: I have done drop in visits, farm sitting, dog grooming, equine care, and taken care of many animals. I have at least 10 references. Love all the animals and will treat them with love and respect. I own a mobile dog grooming business so can make my own schedule. I prefer to let the animals be in their own home as they seem less stressed knowing they will be where there family will be coming back to. They have their comfortable spots and smells and doesn’t disrupt their routine but if necessary I could care for them at my home. Would walk smaller dogs on leash outside or have outdoor pens for larger dogs to get to run.

If you’d prefer I come alone, that’s absolutely fine! I’m always happy to do whatever makes you most comfortable. When we do meet in greets- I can bring him along! I work Tuesday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, but I’m available before work, during my breaks, and after work. I also have full availability on weekends and Mondays. Pet care fits naturally into my schedule, and I do my best to be flexible to meet your pet’s needs. When I’m caring for your pet in their own home, my goal is to keep their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. Whether that’s feeding, walks, playtime, medications, or plenty of cuddles, I’ll make sure they get the attention and care they deserve. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pets, and I treat every animal as if they were my own. I’d love the chance to meet you and your pets! Feel free to reach out with any questions or to set up a meet and greet.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs for a very long time. I own a cockapoo named BaeLee and she is the sweetest dog you’ll ever meet. I now own 2 dogs: Benito and Bernie. Benito is a Rottweiler mix and Bernie is a lab/pitbull. I adopted both from the shelter and have loved my new additions to my family. I take care of my family’s and friend’s dogs all the time from watching them, playing with them, feeding them, and walking them. I am very good with dogs and can be very patient if I need to be. I love sitting down and working on tricks. Having two puppies has taught me the importance of routine and training but also fun! I take care of my pup daily. From the time I wake up until I go to sleep I am always attentive to her needs. Every now and then I’ll take care of my uncles dog throughout the day and take him out every two hours. I am very nice and patient with animals. I love to pet them and play fetch or tug of war. I do not like to touch other’s things when I go to their houses and I respect their rules. I don’t do what I wouldn’t like done in my home to other’s homes.
About: I have taken care of dogs within my family, friends of the family. I take daily walks with all 3 of mine each day, make sure to keep track of their health. I enjoy taking dogs places like the park, I have realized a dogs best therapy is being outdoors where they truly can be themselves. I am currently a student at the University of Kansas and summer is here. It will definitely fit into my schedule now since I have a lot more availability and flexibility. I make sure that they are on a schedule, fed certain times a day, with certain measurements, make sure that they have what they need at all times. Whether that be taking them for a walk, having a good belly rub, or even getting them their favorite treat!
About: I have always been known to my parents friends and neighbors and the person to call if you need help watching your animal. I’ve been pet sitting dogs specifically for just over 4 years but before that I watched everything from cats, to fish, and hamsters. I’ve dealt with numerous dogs suffering from seizures along with many recovering from surgery’s so I know how to handle almost everything. I’m currently a college student. I have some Morning commitments however I can be home with your pet for most of the day, or stop by at any point during the day to walk or let them out. I have an english golden retriever myself so there is another dog within my house, however he’s very friendly with other dogs. We don’t use a crate in our house and the dogs are allowed on the furniture but I’m happy to follow whatever you prefer for your own animal.

“Maisy did a great job with Ruby (and with me). She sent me a text with pictures of Ruby making friends on the first day and a little information about how she was doing. I got another text from Maisy the next morning to let me know how Rugy had done during the night. I really appreciated the update. This was the first day of my vacation, so I was not able to get Ruby myself, but my daughter got her. She said Ruby was glad to see her but would also have gone back to play with the other dogs if she had been allowed to : ) I will happily ask Maisy to look after her again when the need arises. Sorry this is so long in coming, but I only returned from my trip yesterday.”

“Gray loved staying with Leigh and her family! He was not only well cared for, but doted on and given lots of love! Leigh sent regular update messages and pictures for us and we really appreciated knowing he was having so much fun playing with their dog Rosie and making himself right at home.”
