Very chill, laid back, and accommodated very well to my requests or changes. He is very responsive, updates on how Tako is doing, and detailed Tako’s visit at the end. The added bonus is that all I had to provide for Tako for his stay was a bowl and food, Steve took care of the rest! About: I’ve been around animals all my life and feel very comfortable with them. Growing up, I would help with caring for the family pets. I would clean up after them, walk them, feed/water them, kennel train/potty train, and play with them. I’ve grown up with mostly cats and dogs, but I am not opposed to caring for other pets. I am very much of an animal lover but currently don’t have a pet of my own, so I would love to be the caretaker of one of your sweet pets! I am a full-time stay at home mom. About: I am married and have two daughters and a son. They are 12, 8, and 5. I have a wonderful German Shepherd, an Alaskan Klee Kai, and a 20 pound cat named Karen. We love caring for other animals. We have a big yard so there’s plenty of room to run.! I can come to your home or board in ours. We are very active individuals. Both my husband and I are runners. About: I come from a farm happy family and managed a doggy daycare, with extensive work in animal rescue. I have dealt with just about any animal you can imagine. Dogs, cats, horses, goats, guinea pigs, fish, snakes, birds, etc. Both of my pets have passed away but I have more love to give. I love animals and am just looking to fill some of my free time and earn a little extra cash. My lab has since passed due to old age in 2019 and I said goodbye to my golden in July 2025. I do work M-F and would be out of the home from roughly 7:15-5:00pm depending on your location, my office is near the state capitol. I work full time for a nonprofit in Topeka, so I am out of the house from 715am-5pm. I love going on walks and being outside before and after work! On the weekends aside from some errands I would be around. I do have the ability to work remotely as needed, so this is an option if your pet(s) need more time and attention. I take animal safety very seriously, especially after managing a doggy daycare, things can be unpredictable. I take extreme caution, and pay attention to all the signs your pet is giving me along with your requests to ensure they have a fun, safe time while in my care.

I have been around them my whole life and wouldn't want it any other way. I've always had my own and/or lived with roommates/friends/family, that have/had dog(s) in every house I've lived from day 1 to the present. Although I can't say I've taken care of every breed out there (doubt that many people can) I have definitely seen my fair share of mutts and purebreds alike; from Corgis to Chihuahuas, Danes to Dobermans, Lhasa Apsos to Shar Peis, and even a couple of wolves (3/4 mixes) as well as a few rodents, cats, reptiles, arachnid and birds. Big or small I love "em all, but if you forced me to pick a favorite I'd have to go with the affectionate yet intimidating Perro de Presa Canario. I have experience with both puppies and elderly dog as well as cats, reptiles, birds, and farm animals. I also am open to limited contact boarding for people reacting dogs and can do crate rotation for dog reactive dogs away from mine. I work in the evenings 4 days a week so I spend the mornings/afternoons out playing with the pups then they take naps in kennels while I’m at work and we play some more when I get home. I also can move my dogs kennels out of the “dog room” and your dog can just stay in there instead of a kennel if they are more comfortable that way. I have 5 dogs that are very active and friendly. For two years, I volunteered at a humane society where I walked and cared for dogs of all kinds. Senior, puppy, sick, I have a lot of experience and I would love to get more! I have a bigger dog and smaller cat of my own at home but not in Kansas. I volunteer at the Lawrence Humane Society and love all types of animals!! I’m currently in school but am available most hours of everyday. I don’t have many other obligations during the weekdays so I am very flexible with timing! I am willing to work with whatever the owner would like. I am definitely willing to spend the night if necessary and can let out however often you would like.

I have been around them my whole life and wouldn't want it any other way. I come from a large, mostly rural dwelling family, my grandma had 11 kids 2/3 of which have at least 1 or more dog(s) including my mom. I've always had my own and/or lived with roommates/friends/family, that have/had dog(s) in every house I've lived from day 1 to the present. Although I can't say I've taken care of every breed out there (doubt that many people can) I have definitely seen my fair share of mutts and purebreds alike; from Corgis to Chihuahuas, Danes to Dobermans, Lhasa Apsos to Shar Peis, and even a couple of wolves (3/4 mixes) as well as a few rodents, cats, reptiles, arachnid and birds. Big or small I love "em all, but if you forced me to pick a favorite I'd have to go with the affectionate yet intimidating Perro de Presa Canario. About: I've taken care of dogs and cats ever since I've been on my own. I understand how to read animals' behaviors, enjoy giving belly rubs and treats (if okay with you), I currently have 3 dogs, a female German Shepherd, Klee Kai and male husky mix. I am skilled in handling dogs and cats of all ages and am willing to learn any specifics needed for your special guy! I can usually care for an animal in the evenings on weekdays and anytime on the weekends. I am available for play dates, potty breaks, and walks around the neighborhood. Very chill, laid back, and accommodated very well to my requests or changes. He is very responsive, updates on how Tako is doing, and detailed Tako’s visit at the end. The added bonus is that all I had to provide for Tako for his stay was a bowl and food, Steve took care of the rest! About: I’ve been around animals all my life and feel very comfortable with them. Growing up, I would help with caring for the family pets. I would clean up after them, walk them, feed/water them, kennel train/potty train, and play with them. I’ve grown up with mostly cats and dogs, but I am not opposed to caring for other pets. I am very much of an animal lover but currently don’t have a pet of my own, so I would love to be the caretaker of one of your sweet pets! I am a full-time stay at home mom. My schedule can be very flexible. I have a 1 year old who takes two naps a day which allows me to give appropriate care and attention to the pets that are in my care. I live in two story home with a fenced in backyard. A park is right down the street as well were people walk their dogs all the time. I live in a very pet friendly neighborhood. :)
