It's obvious that she places a lot of importance on making sure the dogs felt comfortable with her prior to taking care of them and she went out of her way to help Lyla continue making progress in feeling safe. She handled my big, exuberant boys with ease and genuine affection while also being gentle and quiet with Lyla. During our meet and greet, she was more than happy to learn about the quirks of each dog and when asked, provided genuine and thoughtful suggestions about fearful rescues, including specific things she would do during her home visit. About: I’m all about keeping dogs happy, engaged, and well cared for not just watched. I love mixing in physical activity and mental enrichment like walks, play, training basics, and enrichment games so they’re fulfilled while you’re away. I’ve worked with puppies, senior dogs, and shelter dogs, so I’m comfortable with all kinds of personalities. Anything from shy and anxious to high energy and playful. About: I have grown up with dogs my whole life (specifically German Shepard's and Boxers). I now have a family of my own with 9 and 12 year old kids. I have gone to adoption fairs and brought home two dogs now. Our first dog is a lab mix and our 2nd dog is a black lab. They are everything to my family and I which clearly means they are well love and spoiled. They LOVE other dogs off and on our property. My 9 year old has said "I dont like humans much, but I love animals" and this is so true for her since day 1. We are active in 4H, ahe show and competes in horse events. About: I took Care of my own dog until he was 16 year old I've also taken care of bunnies and now I'm taking care of a puppy which I got at 8 months old i also have work between 11:00am - 4:00pm Work at 11:00 am - 4:00pm so I'll have plenty of time for taking care of pets except for Sunday I have church that I need to go to I feed my dog in the 3 times a day and take her on walks were have a fenced in yard so we have a doggy door so the can go outside on their own but I make sure they get outside at least every 2 hours if there is no door
About: I grew up my whole life on a farm, I've always had no less than 2 indoor/outdoor dogs, and plenty of indoor/outdoor cats, along with other farm animals. Every dog my family got growing up we got as a puppy and I would work with them to learn to come, sit, stay, out, heel, how to walk on a leash, and where it is okay to potty, and where it isn't. I've worked with dogs of all sizes and ages, I've learned how to understand different personalities in all kinds of dogs, hyper, relaxed, playful or lazy. I live in town Gardner now, I have a decent size back yard (not fenced, but I can work with dogs that have a tenancy to run and teach them not to over time), there is a walking trail around my housing complex, and lots of dog-friendly neighbors. My house has tile and carpet floors, the main floor is living space, upstairs is bedrooms. I will allow dogs to stay that will get on the couch or bed, but only if they are asked, if you have a pet who likes getting on the furniture, I don't mind working with them to teach them to ask first before climbing on. I also have horses on our family farm 20 minutes from our house, there is a doggy tether line out there in a nice, grassed yard if you want your dog to have some time to run a little energy off and you don't mind them being in the country. I am available to keep dogs overnight, or on a daily basis for a doggy-daycare, house sit, check on your pets during the day, or evening, and on weekends. I am usually very flexible, and willing to help in any way that I can. I look forward to getting to know you!
About: I've had my three cats since January of 2021. I fell in love with them while fostering and haven't looked back since. My love for them has taught me to love and care for all cats including calling myself an aunt to my friends cats. I'm their first call when it comes to taking care of their feline kids while they're away. About: I've been taking care of all kinds of babies since I was a little girl. From bottle feeding bunnies and kittens to reptiles and horses. I usually always have some kind of a rescue at my house whether it be a foster dog or a some off the wall duck someone brought to me. I take care of them all as they were my own. My true passion is training though! My father has always trained his bird dogs as well as others and I've just always enjoyed seeing what different breeds can do/pick up on. I live with my husband and our dog, Bully Porter, a 5-year-old spayed female pitbull mix. I am a registered nurse of over 12 years, and I also have experience administering medications to dogs. I am the main point of contact for the medical team through Missouri Pit Bull Rescue. I typically work from home, and during which, I have time through the day to care for pups who come to our home. Sometimes, we have a foster through the rescue, and during that time, I will need to turn off daycare/boarding. In the mornings, evenings, or over my lunch break, I can take dogs on walks or do drop-in visits. I am off most weekends as well. I do ask for flexibility with drop-in times, as my schedule may change with meetings and having to go in-person, however, I do my best to be accommodating, and I stay in communication. We have a 5' hog wire fenced yard with plenty of room for dogs to run around and play. Our female pit mix is SUPER friendly and would love to keep your dog company and play! About: I have owned pets since I was very young and I became more responsible with helping take care of our pets around the age 10 or 11. I have given bathes, walks, baby sat, and clipped nails for friends and family. I also work hard to train my babies on commands. They are usually very well behaved but they are both still quite young and get so overwhelmed with excitement when meeting new people and/or dogs. I also know how to administer puppy shots and give pills/capsules. Many people trust me to watch after their beloved fur babies and I hope you will feel the same way. About: My family has had dogs, cats and fish my whole life. I often watch them when my parents are out of town and I have dog and cat sat for family & friends for years. I have helped a friends family with their cattle and pigs, but am not as experienced with livestock outside chickens.
