“It was the week of July 4th. We arranged boarding tentatively, but the did not work out. Looking at Rover schedule again, we contacted Emily for July 2-7. Thankfully, she agreed. Ron and I and our 2 dogs met Emily and her dog Fish, at their lovely home, and the 3 of them began playing in her big backyard. What a handful they must have been, yet Emily sent many photos and said the dogs played and then napped often. Emily was a kind and gracious host who managed the care beautifully. About: I have always had pets in the home. I believe animals are like children. I volunteer part time at prarie paws animal shelter in ottawa to share my love for pets. I train all of my own pets and am able to handle large dogs, difficult leash walkers, and provide mentally stimulating activities. I work 5 minutes from home. On week days I go home for my lunch to care for the animals in my care. The animals will only have to go up to 4 hours during the day without interaction. During this time they will be supervised via a monitor in the room. We are a multi pet home. We have 2 dogs, 1 cat, 3 fish tanks, and even chickens. We love animals! Your pet will have his or her own private suite in our home which includes a bed, Kennel, toys, blanket etc. We provide activities that will help mentally stimulate your pet and ease their anxiety. The upper level of our home is where your pet will be housed, away from the other animals to prevent any conflicts that may occur and reduce any anxiety that may come with unfamiliar animals. We are able to take up to 2 pets. This number is decided on the amount of private space we are able to provide your pet. 2 rooms are available.

About: My family has had dogs, cats and fish my whole life. I often watch them when my parents are out of town and I have dog and cat sat for family & friends for years. I have helped a friends family with their cattle and pigs, but am not as experienced with livestock outside chickens. I’m currently available 7 days/wk I work as a server in my pleasant so whoever I’m staying with ideally should be able to go 6-8hrs between potty breaks! Throughout my life I have been heavily involved with different types of animal care, such as volunteering at the humane society and pet sitting for friends and family. About: History: I have had dogs all throughout my life, starting in middle school when my mom and I adopted our first- under the agreement that I had full responsibility! Since then, I have had three dogs on my own, and I have provided care for my friends' and families' pets while they're away. Currently: I volunteer at Missouri Pit Bull Rescue weekly, and I have had several foster dogs through them as well. I dog-sit for my neighbors regularly. I live with my husband and our dog, Bully Porter, a 5-year-old spayed female pitbull mix. I am a registered nurse of over 12 years, and I also have experience administering medications to dogs. I am the main point of contact for the medical team through Missouri Pit Bull Rescue. I typically work from home, and during which, I have time through the day to care for pups who come to our home. Sometimes, we have a foster through the rescue, and during that time, I will need to turn off daycare/boarding. In the mornings, evenings, or over my lunch break, I can take dogs on walks or do drop-in visits. I am off most weekends as well. I do ask for flexibility with drop-in times, as my schedule may change with meetings and having to go in-person, however, I do my best to be accommodating, and I stay in communication. We have a 5' hog wire fenced yard with plenty of room for dogs to run around and play. Our female pit mix is SUPER friendly and would love to keep your dog company and play! We have 2 crates available (one medium, one XL, and when not fostering, two XL) if needed.

About: I begged for my first dog when I was 10 years old, since then I have never been without one. I used to be called Brittany Dolittle as I just naturally gravitate toward animals. I watch friends and neighbors dogs while they are out of town with the help of my 3 kids. My kids are just as much animal lovers as I am. About: I have owned pets since I was very young and I became more responsible with helping take care of our pets around the age 10 or 11. I have given bathes, walks, baby sat, and clipped nails for friends and family. I also work hard to train my babies on commands. They are usually very well behaved but they are both still quite young and get so overwhelmed with excitement when meeting new people and/or dogs. I also know how to administer puppy shots and give pills/capsules. Many people trust me to watch after their beloved fur babies and I hope you will feel the same way. I have a part time job but I will have plenty of time to check on the pups and give them attention and potty breaks. Weekends are typically better for boarding and all day care but I maybe able to pull it off during the week. Other wise I’m open for walks and pop ins in the afternoon and evenings. I live right next to a park where I would take you dog for some exercise and potty time and there is a dog park about 2 miles from my home. I have crates if they are needed. I have 2 roommates who love dogs. I also have 2 dogs of my own who absolutely love to make new friends with dogs and will definitely help your babies burn off some energy.

Our fur babies are apart of our families and need to be taken care of with love at all times! I know that when I am away from my fur baby I want to know that he is in good hands and being cared for with unconditional love! So I would provide the same for your pup! I do work full time as an Assistant Property Manager. I do work at the property where I reside. So I am flexible to come home and check and let the dogs out for potty breaks. About: I’ve had dogs since I was an infant and grew to love to train dogs and have been actively caring for/training dogs for 15 years. My family has always asked me when leaving town to care for their animals and have always been happy with the care given while they were gone. Currently working part-time so I’m very free to check on/exercise your pups! About: I have had a variety of animals in my home since I was born and I love each and every one. I have taken care of puppies as well as older dogs. I’m not currently working, so I am almost always open to look after your babies! I am available all week and some weekends, just depending on the week! I can do whatever is needed for your pets whether that be kenneling, fenced yard, etc. I take my dog out on a leash at my house so i’m also good with that.

About: My family has had dogs, cats and fish my whole life. I often watch them when my parents are out of town and I have dog and cat sat for family & friends for years. I have helped a friends family with their cattle and pigs, but am not as experienced with livestock outside chickens. I’m currently available 7 days/wk I work as a server in my pleasant so whoever I’m staying with ideally should be able to go 6-8hrs between potty breaks! Throughout my life I have been heavily involved with different types of animal care, such as volunteering at the humane society and pet sitting for friends and family. “It was the week of July 4th. We arranged boarding tentatively, but the did not work out. Looking at Rover schedule again, we contacted Emily for July 2-7. Thankfully, she agreed. Ron and I and our 2 dogs met Emily and her dog Fish, at their lovely home, and the 3 of them began playing in her big backyard. What a handful they must have been, yet Emily sent many photos and said the dogs played and then napped often. Emily was a kind and gracious host who managed the care beautifully. About: I have always had pets in the home. I believe animals are like children. I volunteer part time at prarie paws animal shelter in ottawa to share my love for pets. I train all of my own pets and am able to handle large dogs, difficult leash walkers, and provide mentally stimulating activities. I work 5 minutes from home. On week days I go home for my lunch to care for the animals in my care. The animals will only have to go up to 4 hours during the day without interaction. During this time they will be supervised via a monitor in the room. We are a multi pet home. We have 2 dogs, 1 cat, 3 fish tanks, and even chickens. We love animals! Your pet will have his or her own private suite in our home which includes a bed, Kennel, toys, blanket etc. We provide activities that will help mentally stimulate your pet and ease their anxiety. The upper level of our home is where your pet will be housed, away from the other animals to prevent any conflicts that may occur and reduce any anxiety that may come with unfamiliar animals. We are able to take up to 2 pets. This number is decided on the amount of private space we are able to provide your pet. 2 rooms are available.
