About: I have always had pets in the home. I believe animals are like children. I volunteer part time at prarie paws animal shelter in ottawa to share my love for pets. I train all of my own pets and am able to handle large dogs, difficult leash walkers, and provide mentally stimulating activities. I work 5 minutes from home. On week days I go home for my lunch to care for the animals in my care. The animals will only have to go up to 4 hours during the day without interaction. During this time they will be supervised via a monitor in the room. We are a multi pet home. We have 2 dogs, 1 cat, 3 fish tanks, and even chickens. We love animals! Your pet will have his or her own private suite in our home which includes a bed, Kennel, toys, blanket etc. We provide activities that will help mentally stimulate your pet and ease their anxiety. The upper level of our home is where your pet will be housed, away from the other animals to prevent any conflicts that may occur and reduce any anxiety that may come with unfamiliar animals. We are able to take up to 2 pets. This number is decided on the amount of private space we are able to provide your pet. 2 rooms are available.

About: My family has had dogs, cats and fish my whole life. I often watch them when my parents are out of town and I have dog and cat sat for family & friends for years. I have helped a friends family with their cattle and pigs, but am not as experienced with livestock outside chickens. I’m currently available 7 days/wk I work as a server in my pleasant so whoever I’m staying with ideally should be able to go 6-8hrs between potty breaks! I come from a large, mostly rural dwelling family, my grandma had 11 kids 2/3 of which have at least 1 or more dog(s) including my mom. I've always had my own and/or lived with roommates/friends/family, that have/had dog(s) in every house I've lived from day 1 to the present. Although I can't say I've taken care of every breed out there (doubt that many people can) I have definitely seen my fair share of mutts and purebreds alike; from Corgis to Chihuahuas, Danes to Dobermans, Lhasa Apsos to Shar Peis, and even a couple of wolves (3/4 mixes) as well as a few rodents, cats, reptiles, arachnid and birds. Big or small I love "em all, but if you forced me to pick a favorite I'd have to go with the affectionate yet intimidating Perro de Presa Canario. About: I’ve had pets since, forever! When I was younger 3 of our dogs had puppies at the same time & then we had 27 dogs to care for! I personally had a yorkie for 8 years. I have so much patience and love for animals and they are much more than animals & pets to me. About: History: I have had dogs all throughout my life, starting in middle school when my mom and I adopted our first- under the agreement that I had full responsibility! Since then, I have had three dogs on my own, and I have provided care for my friends' and families' pets while they're away. Currently: I volunteer at Missouri Pit Bull Rescue weekly, and I have had several foster dogs through them as well. I dog-sit for my neighbors regularly. I live with my husband and our dog, Bully Porter, a 5-year-old spayed female pitbull mix. I am a registered nurse of over 12 years, and I also have experience administering medications to dogs. I am the main point of contact for the medical team through Missouri Pit Bull Rescue. I typically work from home, and during which, I have time through the day to care for pups who come to our home. Sometimes, we have a foster through the rescue, and during that time, I will need to turn off daycare/boarding. In the mornings, evenings, or over my lunch break, I can take dogs on walks or do drop-in visits. I am off most weekends as well. I do ask for flexibility with drop-in times, as my schedule may change with meetings and having to go in-person, however, I do my best to be accommodating, and I stay in communication. We have a 5' hog wire fenced yard with plenty of room for dogs to run around and play. Our female pit mix is SUPER friendly and would love to keep your dog company and play! We have 2 crates available (one medium, one XL, and when not fostering, two XL) if needed.

About: I begged for my first dog when I was 10 years old, since then I have never been without one. I used to be called Brittany Dolittle as I just naturally gravitate toward animals. I watch friends and neighbors dogs while they are out of town with the help of my 3 kids. My kids are just as much animal lovers as I am. About: I have had dogs in my home for almost my whole life. I have a pug, golden retriever, and a mutt that are all a couple years apart in age. For two years, I volunteered at a humane society where I walked and cared for dogs of all kinds. Senior, puppy, sick, I have a lot of experience and I would love to get more! I’m currently working at a golf course near Forest Lake. My schedule for work comes out weekly, so I’m unaware what my weeks look like well in advance. I don’t like to do this, but if your pups are able to be home for about 6-8, then this would be a great fit! Obviously I wouldn’t work every day of the week, so I will be available to give them my full attention. Your pups are my priority and I wouldn’t want them to feel uncomfortable with my wack work schedule in any way. My shifts will either be 6-2 or 2-9, or shorter. I prioritize respect for your space and routines. Whether your pet prefers potty breaks in a fenced yard or leashed walks, I’ll follow your preferences to keep them comfortable and safe.

About: I have worked with and had animals my entire life. From reptiles to cats and dogs I have worked with many different kinds of animals old and young. I adore training puppies and have had a lot of experience with senior dogs, dogs with incontinence, and other health issues. Your pets safety and well being is of upmost importance to me. About: I have owned pets since I was very young and I became more responsible with helping take care of our pets around the age 10 or 11. I have given bathes, walks, baby sat, and clipped nails for friends and family. I also work hard to train my babies on commands. They are usually very well behaved but they are both still quite young and get so overwhelmed with excitement when meeting new people and/or dogs. I also know how to administer puppy shots and give pills/capsules. Many people trust me to watch after their beloved fur babies and I hope you will feel the same way. I have a part time job but I will have plenty of time to check on the pups and give them attention and potty breaks. Weekends are typically better for boarding and all day care but I maybe able to pull it off during the week. Other wise I’m open for walks and pop ins in the afternoon and evenings. I live right next to a park where I would take you dog for some exercise and potty time and there is a dog park about 2 miles from my home. I have crates if they are needed. I have 2 roommates who love dogs. I also have 2 dogs of my own who absolutely love to make new friends with dogs and will definitely help your babies burn off some energy.

Our fur babies are apart of our families and need to be taken care of with love at all times! About: I have had a variety of animals in my home since I was born and I love each and every one. I have taken care of puppies as well as older dogs. About: I have always had pets in the home. I believe animals are like children. I volunteer part time at prarie paws animal shelter in ottawa to share my love for pets. I train all of my own pets and am able to handle large dogs, difficult leash walkers, and provide mentally stimulating activities. I work 5 minutes from home. On week days I go home for my lunch to care for the animals in my care. The animals will only have to go up to 4 hours during the day without interaction. During this time they will be supervised via a monitor in the room. We are a multi pet home. We have 2 dogs, 1 cat, 3 fish tanks, and even chickens. We love animals! Your pet will have his or her own private suite in our home which includes a bed, Kennel, toys, blanket etc. We provide activities that will help mentally stimulate your pet and ease their anxiety. The upper level of our home is where your pet will be housed, away from the other animals to prevent any conflicts that may occur and reduce any anxiety that may come with unfamiliar animals. We are able to take up to 2 pets. This number is decided on the amount of private space we are able to provide your pet. 2 rooms are available.
