About: I am married and have two daughters and a son. They are 12, 8, and 5. I have a wonderful German Shepherd, an Alaskan Klee Kai, and a 20 pound cat named Karen. We love caring for other animals. We have a big yard so there’s plenty of room to run.! I can come to your home or board in ours. We are very active individuals. Both my husband and I are runners. Just let me know if you have anymore questions and I would be more than willing to answer them! We are very flexible with our schedules. I was out of the country for around two weeks and worried about my cat because she tends to be a little shy and scared of new people and typically i only know how to deal with her. Michelle was perfect !! letting my cat slowly warm up to her presence visit by visit. She would send photos every visit and that was very reassuring, she would play with my cat and feed her and cuddle with gigi. I would get photos of gigi playing, running, and cuddling which is not her norm for when she meets new people so i was very happy with that.There wasn’t a moment where I was worried about my gigi. Michelle is so nice and compassionate and sweet and it shows because my gigi warmed up to her, she responds to messages and updates me where i felt reassured and comfortable, I could not be happier that i found her to take care of my cat and i was honestly lucky to have her as my pet sitter.I would definitely choose her again over anyone if I ever had to leave my cat again but in general with any animal because she actually cares.”
About: My family has had dogs, cats and fish my whole life. I often watch them when my parents are out of town and I have dog and cat sat for family & friends for years. I have helped a friends family with their cattle and pigs, but am not as experienced with livestock outside chickens. I’m currently available 7 days/wk I work as a server in my pleasant so whoever I’m staying with ideally should be able to go 6-8hrs between potty breaks! About: I took Care of my own dog until he was 16 year old I've also taken care of bunnies and now I'm taking care of a puppy which I got at 8 months old i also have work between 11:00am - 4:00pm Work at 11:00 am - 4:00pm so I'll have plenty of time for taking care of pets except for Sunday I have church that I need to go to I feed my dog in the 3 times a day and take her on walks were have a fenced in yard so we have a doggy door so the can go outside on their own but I make sure they get outside at least every 2 hours if there is no door

Although I can't say I've taken care of every breed out there (doubt that many people can) I have definitely seen my fair share of mutts and purebreds alike; from Corgis to Chihuahuas, Danes to Dobermans, Lhasa Apsos to Shar Peis, and even a couple of wolves (3/4 mixes) as well as a few rodents, cats, reptiles, arachnid and birds. About: I’ve had pets since, forever! When I was younger 3 of our dogs had puppies at the same time & then we had 27 dogs to care for! I personally had a yorkie for 8 years. I have so much patience and love for animals and they are much more than animals & pets to me. As much as they are here for us, we reciprocate that love with care, respect, responsibility, structure, attention, and so much more. I’ve felt that my dog was like a child to me, and I know that’s the same for others so there’s so much responsibility in caring for others animals and is no small thing when it comes to looking after them. About: History: I have had dogs all throughout my life, starting in middle school when my mom and I adopted our first- under the agreement that I had full responsibility! Since then, I have had three dogs on my own, and I have provided care for my friends' and families' pets while they're away. Currently: I volunteer at Missouri Pit Bull Rescue weekly, and I have had several foster dogs through them as well. I dog-sit for my neighbors regularly. I live with my husband and our dog, Bully Porter, a 5-year-old spayed female pitbull mix. I am a registered nurse of over 12 years, and I also have experience administering medications to dogs. I am the main point of contact for the medical team through Missouri Pit Bull Rescue. I typically work from home, and during which, I have time through the day to care for pups who come to our home. Sometimes, we have a foster through the rescue, and during that time, I will need to turn off daycare/boarding. In the mornings, evenings, or over my lunch break, I can take dogs on walks or do drop-in visits. I am off most weekends as well. I do ask for flexibility with drop-in times, as my schedule may change with meetings and having to go in-person, however, I do my best to be accommodating, and I stay in communication. We have a 5' hog wire fenced yard with plenty of room for dogs to run around and play. Our female pit mix is SUPER friendly and would love to keep your dog company and play! We have 2 crates available (one medium, one XL, and when not fostering, two XL) if needed.

About: I have taken care of dogs, cats, and parrots! I love going on walks for dogs and would love to go hiking with your dogs (or cats if they like walks)! I have experience giving insulin shots to dogs and I am good at hiding medicine in treats. I am very flexible and can often show up at any time of the day! We have a strict one-client policy so you have the guarantee your pets will be the only ones staying with us. We both work from home, so we are readily available at all times to take care of any dog’s needs, including many breaks to play with the doggos and run around with them outside. We have experience handling pills and can watch any high-needs dog. We have a large fenced in backyard and there are very few circumstances where someone is not home. We have a 1600 sq ft, 4 bedroom home with plenty of room for your fur baby! Our dog, Georgia, would love to keep your little pup company!

“It was the week of July 4th. We arranged boarding tentatively, but the did not work out. Looking at Rover schedule again, we contacted Emily for July 2-7. Thankfully, she agreed. Ron and I and our 2 dogs met Emily and her dog Fish, at their lovely home, and the 3 of them began playing in her big backyard. What a handful they must have been, yet Emily sent many photos and said the dogs played and then napped often. Emily was a kind and gracious host who managed the care beautifully.
