About: "If you can look at a dog and not feel vicarious excitement and affection, you must be a cat." ~Terri Guillemets Love dogs (and animals in general, but dogs especially.) I have been around them my whole life and wouldn't want it any other way. I come from a large, mostly rural dwelling family, my grandma had 11 kids 2/3 of which have at least 1 or more dog(s) including my mom. I've always had my own and/or lived with roommates/friends/family, that have/had dog(s) in every house I've lived from day 1 to the present. Although I can't say I've taken care of every breed out there (doubt that many people can) I have definitely seen my fair share of mutts and purebreds alike; from Corgis to Chihuahuas, Danes to Dobermans, Lhasa Apsos to Shar Peis, and even a couple of wolves (3/4 mixes) as well as a few rodents, cats, reptiles, arachnid and birds. Big or small I love "em all, but if you forced me to pick a favorite I'd have to go with the affectionate yet intimidating Perro de Presa Canario. In short, if either by choice or necessity you find yourself in need of a caretaker for your 4-legged (or more) companion(s), know that I would be elated for the opportunity and you can be assured that their health and well-being will invariably be at the forefront of my mind in all that I do while they're in my care. Thank you for taking the time to read this and I look forward to hearing from you soon. "Lots of people talk to animals.... Not very many listen, though.... About: Hi! My name is Bentley and I am a Pre-Vet/ Animal Science Major at Kansas State University. This means I will be doing dog sitting in your home. Some qualities that set me apart from other sitters is my level of expertise. I have had dogs and cats my whole life and have always been the one to take care of them. However, I also have spent 3 years growing my experience around animals at multiple jobs. I have worked at a doggy daycare, service dog school, and a vet clinic. All of these jobs have allowed me to learn more about the animals and how to properly take care of them regardless or age, size, or breed. I would love to spend time with your pet and give you the comfort you deserve from a pet sitter! Since I am going into my freshman year at K-State my class schedule varies. However, I will always be flexible with hours needed and what works for me. I plan on getting a part time job as well while also ensuring time for your pets! I am very flexible with how I take care of your pets depending on what they are used to with you! However, all pets will be treated with love just like they are my own!
About: What sets me apart from other dog sitters is the level of personalized care and attention I provide. I treat every dog like they’re my own—learning their routines, quirks, and comfort needs. I have experience with dogs of all ages, from energetic puppies who need training reinforcement to senior dogs who require patience, medication schedules, and gentle handling. I'm skilled in basic obedience training, can administer oral and topical medications, and I’m confident managing dogs with anxiety or special dietary needs. Whether your dog loves playtime, quiet cuddles, or long walks, I tailor my care to keep them happy, safe, and loved while you're away. I am currently a full time k-state student, but only have classes half of the day. I can always work around my schedule to fit your pet’s needs! I am able to stay overnight with them as well and give them the best care that they deserve! I am always able to go over every 2-4 hours to let them out or take them on walks! When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their usual routine as closely as possible to keep them comfortable and stress-free. I make sure they’re fed on time, get plenty of play and exercise, and receive lots of attention and affection. I also provide any special care they need, such as administering medication or following specific training techniques. I keep the home tidy, send regular photo updates, and treat the space with the same respect I give my own.
About: I have been a professional trainer, handler and groomer for over a decade, providing excellent care for dogs, cats and other pets of all ages, sizes and care needs. I am also available for livestock care, with over two decades of experience with horses, cattle and most other hoofstock and flocks. I offer these services full time, so no need to worry about another job conflicting with your pet’s needs while in my care. I am able to devote my schedule to them. For my in home services, I have a yard that is set up with individual fenced areas, as well as having 4.5 acres that will soon be fully fenced in! For those bigger dogs who want to be able to run and stretch their legs more.I have two of my own dogs as well, as company for those who would enjoy a playmate. We do crate all guests for bedtime and meals. This ensures everyone can eat at their own pace, and in a safe environment. Same for bedtime. While we understand that your pet may sleep loose at home, we typically have guests from multiple households. Safety is our #1 priority and we don’t want to risk an issue overnight.
“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This was our first time using their service, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience! We reached out at the last minute while moving into our new place, and they were kind enough to make themselves available when we really needed the help. She, her husband, and their daughter were all extremely kind and welcoming. They took wonderful care of our dog and sent us plenty of pictures and updates throughout the stay, which really gave us peace of mind during a very busy moving day. You could tell from the updates and photos that they genuinely cared about our dog and treated him like part of their family. We are extremely thankful for how accommodating and caring they were, especially on such short notice. We will definitely be using them again in the future! I would highly recommend their services to anyone in the Topeka, Kansas area looking for someone dependable, caring, and trustworthy to take care of their dog. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“So far, our baby girl has been having a great experience with Brandin. He updates us on her pee and poo breaks, as well as feeding. He sends pictures of her, including if I ask. I respect his structure and knowledge in dog behavior, resulting in us learning a few new things we didn't know previously. Overall, I highly recommend Brandin! We're returning twice weekly. Book with him!”

About: I’ve cared for dogs and cats for years. Experienced with puppies, seniors, feeding routines, walks, playtime, and providing safe, reliable, loving care for all pets. As a college student-athlete , I have a flexible schedule. I’m available mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends, allowing consistent care, walks, feeding, and quality attention. I follow all care instructions carefully, keep pets supervised, secure doors and leashes, maintain clean spaces, and provide updates so owners feel confident and trusted.
About: Hello!! My name is Maisy. I have worked in various different animal related jobs for the last 5 years, I worked at a doggie daycare/boarding facility and I currently am a dog trainer. I have experience with both puppies and elderly dog as well as cats, reptiles, birds, and farm animals. I also am open to limited contact boarding for people reacting dogs and can do crate rotation for dog reactive dogs away from mine. I work in the evenings 4 days a week so I spend the mornings/afternoons out playing with the pups then they take naps in kennels while I’m at work and we play some more when I get home. I also can move my dogs kennels out of the “dog room” and your dog can just stay in there instead of a kennel if they are more comfortable that way. I have 5 dogs that are very active and friendly. I have a fenced in yard the dogs love to run around in and inside we have lots of toys and comfy places to take naps (which will be put up if there are problems). If I’m not at home or at night all dogs will be kenneled for safety.
About: Located on 10 acres in rural Hoyt, Kansas, Hughes & Hounds provides a spacious safe haven for your furry family members. Our set-up, previously used for dog breeding, includes two (working on three) spacious backyard pens that are the full package deal, including: big shade trees, big water bowls, a doggie igloo and free doggie treats (if you approve of course!). Please note that our dog daycare and boarding services are OUTDOOR ONLY and really for farm/outside dogs, bigger dogs, or dogs with high energy. We will accept any sized dog as long as they’re used to staying outside during the day! With two young kids in the home, we will only bring your dogs inside if the owner provides a crate and only if requested for night time (with the exception of severe weather where they would be crated indoors as well). I work a few afternoons a week, so I will be able to check on your furry pals often during their week & weekend stays with us. We are flexible and want to make sure your wishes are heard. So if you want us to play with your dogs, send you pictures, give treats - we are here for it. But if your dog prefers to not be bothered too much and is good with the essentials - we are here for that too. You tell us how we can provide the most comfortable atmosphere for your dogs. As far as experience goes, I've been a dog sitter on and off from elementary school through college and have volunteered lots of hours to our local shelter.... I love dogs and they're in good hands! :) This is a NEW and fun business adventure for our small family and we do not take it lightly! Please don't hesitate to reach out with questions-we will respond promptly. I only work a few afternoons a week, and my husband gets home before me during those days, so there’s only about 3-4 hour stretches of time we would be gone during the week. Due to this, we feel confident that we can take good care of your dog(s) while they stay here. Since we have the space we thought "why not?" when it came to the idea of dog boarding. We were not using our back 3 pens, other than allowing our dogs to roam them. There were some escape artists when the pens were originally used for breeding, so safety features include covered corners so dogs are unable to climb up and out using the corner fencing. Cement was also laid around the boundaries of the pens so digging cannot occur. If your dog likes to jump fences that would be a concern and a reason why we may not be a good fit for you. Of course, plenty of cold, fresh water will always be available to your dog(s) during their stay.

About: My name is Patrick, my family has owned 6 dogs all from when they were puppies, I love dogs and will care for yours as if they are my own. I will walk with the dogs (run if requested) currently I have two dogs marlow and mimi one suffers from epilepsy so I know what to do if there are any problems with the dog or dogs.
