About: What sets me apart is my hands-on animal care background. I previously worked as a zookeeper, where I cared for many different animal species and was responsible for daily feeding, cleaning, medication administration, and monitoring overall health and behavior. About: I have had dogs my entire life, and currently have a 7.5 year old female redbone coonhound and a 5 year old female mixed breed. I love being around them, teaching them new tricks and commands. I am open from 6a.m to 8p.m on Saturdays and Sundays. Then, during the week, I am available after 3:30p.m, as I work for a school district and get out shortly before 3:30p.m. I can take dog (s) to the dog park or on a short rides or walk to get some energy out. “Michelle was so amazing, it warmed my heart to know someone was actually giving my cat love and attention as much as I would because that’s usually a pet owners biggest fear. I was out of the country for around two weeks and worried about my cat because she tends to be a little shy and scared of new people and typically i only know how to deal with her. Michelle was perfect !! letting my cat slowly warm up to her presence visit by visit. She would send photos every visit and that was very reassuring, she would play with my cat and feed her and cuddle with gigi. I would get photos of gigi playing, running, and cuddling which is not her norm for when she meets new people so i was very happy with that.There wasn’t a moment where I was worried about my gigi. Michelle is so nice and compassionate and sweet and it shows because my gigi warmed up to her, she responds to messages and updates me where i felt reassured and comfortable, I could not be happier that i found her to take care of my cat and i was honestly lucky to have her as my pet sitter.I would definitely choose her again over anyone if I ever had to leave my cat again but in general with any animal because she actually cares.”

I have helped a friends family with their cattle and pigs, but am not as experienced with livestock outside chickens. Although I can't say I've taken care of every breed out there (doubt that many people can) I have definitely seen my fair share of mutts and purebreds alike; from Corgis to Chihuahuas, Danes to Dobermans, Lhasa Apsos to Shar Peis, and even a couple of wolves (3/4 mixes) as well as a few rodents, cats, reptiles, arachnid and birds. Big or small I love "em all, but if you forced me to pick a favorite I'd have to go with the affectionate yet intimidating Perro de Presa Canario. About: Hello!! My name is Maisy. I have worked in various different animal related jobs for the last 5 years, I worked at a doggie daycare/boarding facility and I currently am a dog trainer. I have experience with both puppies and elderly dog as well as cats, reptiles, birds, and farm animals. I also am open to limited contact boarding for people reacting dogs and can do crate rotation for dog reactive dogs away from mine. I work in the evenings 4 days a week so I spend the mornings/afternoons out playing with the pups then they take naps in kennels while I’m at work and we play some more when I get home. I also can move my dogs kennels out of the “dog room” and your dog can just stay in there instead of a kennel if they are more comfortable that way. I have 5 dogs that are very active and friendly. I have a fenced in yard the dogs love to run around in and inside we have lots of toys and comfy places to take naps (which will be put up if there are problems). If I’m not at home or at night all dogs will be kenneled for safety.

About: Located on 10 acres in rural Hoyt, Kansas, Hughes & Hounds provides a spacious safe haven for your furry family members. Our set-up, previously used for dog breeding, includes two (working on three) spacious backyard pens that are the full package deal, including: big shade trees, big water bowls, a doggie igloo and free doggie treats (if you approve of course!). Please note that our dog daycare and boarding services are OUTDOOR ONLY and really for farm/outside dogs, bigger dogs, or dogs with high energy. We will accept any sized dog as long as they’re used to staying outside during the day! With two young kids in the home, we will only bring your dogs inside if the owner provides a crate and only if requested for night time (with the exception of severe weather where they would be crated indoors as well). I work a few afternoons a week, so I will be able to check on your furry pals often during their week & weekend stays with us. We are flexible and want to make sure your wishes are heard. So if you want us to play with your dogs, send you pictures, give treats - we are here for it. But if your dog prefers to not be bothered too much and is good with the essentials - we are here for that too. You tell us how we can provide the most comfortable atmosphere for your dogs. As far as experience goes, I've been a dog sitter on and off from elementary school through college and have volunteered lots of hours to our local shelter.... I love dogs and they're in good hands! :) This is a NEW and fun business adventure for our small family and we do not take it lightly! Please don't hesitate to reach out with questions-we will respond promptly. I only work a few afternoons a week, and my husband gets home before me during those days, so there’s only about 3-4 hour stretches of time we would be gone during the week. Due to this, we feel confident that we can take good care of your dog(s) while they stay here. Since we have the space we thought "why not?" when it came to the idea of dog boarding. We were not using our back 3 pens, other than allowing our dogs to roam them. There were some escape artists when the pens were originally used for breeding, so safety features include covered corners so dogs are unable to climb up and out using the corner fencing. Cement was also laid around the boundaries of the pens so digging cannot occur. If your dog likes to jump fences that would be a concern and a reason why we may not be a good fit for you. Of course, plenty of cold, fresh water will always be available to your dog(s) during their stay.

I grew up with both dogs and cats, and I currently have four dogs of my own, so I’ve always been surrounded by animals. I recently graduated from high school and will be starting my pre-veterinary studies at JCCC this fall. My dream is to become a veterinarian! My boyfriend, Cameron, is 20 and helps me with pet sitting. He loves animals just as much as I do and has plenty of experience with them. He helped train our German Shepherd from puppyhood and grew up with several cats, so he’s comfortable caring for both dogs and cats. I just like to let everyone know that Cameron may accompany me on visits or overnight stays. We both genuinely enjoy spending time with animals, and we’ll make sure your pets are loved and well cared for while you’re away. I work Tuesday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, but I’m available before work, during my breaks, and after work. So I am able to check your pets every 4-5 hours. I also have full availability on weekends and Mondays. Pet care fits naturally into my schedule, and I do my best to be flexible to meet your pet’s needs. When I’m caring for your pet in their own home, my goal is to keep their routine as normal and stress free as possible. Whether that’s feeding, walks, playtime, medications, or plenty of cuddles, I’ll make sure they get the attention and care they deserve. About: I’ve taken care of dogs for a very long time. I own a cockapoo named BaeLee and she is the sweetest dog you’ll ever meet. I now own 2 dogs: Benito and Bernie. Benito is a Rottweiler mix and Bernie is a lab/pitbull. I adopted both from the shelter and have loved my new additions to my family. I take care of my family’s and friend’s dogs all the time from watching them, playing with them, feeding them, and walking them. I am very good with dogs and can be very patient if I need to be. I love sitting down and working on tricks. Having two puppies has taught me the importance of routine and training but also fun! I take care of my pup daily. From the time I wake up until I go to sleep I am always attentive to her needs. Every now and then I’ll take care of my uncles dog throughout the day and take him out every two hours. I am very nice and patient with animals. I love to pet them and play fetch or tug of war. I do not like to touch other’s things when I go to their houses and I respect their rules. I don’t do what I wouldn’t like done in my home to other’s homes.
About: I have taken care of dogs, cats, and parrots! I love going on walks for dogs and would love to go hiking with your dogs (or cats if they like walks)! I have experience giving insulin shots to dogs and I am good at hiding medicine in treats. I am very flexible and can often show up at any time of the day! For late night checks and overnights I ask for a minimum of 8 hour notice. I currently only provide services in the client's home or walks. I do not currently have the capability to watch dogs in my own home but I am able to do overnights and last minute walks and checks late in the night if needed!
About: I have had dogs my entire life, and currently have a 7.5 year old female redbone coonhound and a 5 year old female mixed breed. I love being around them, teaching them new tricks and commands. I am open from 6a.m to 8p.m on Saturdays and Sundays. Then, during the week, I am available after 3:30p.m, as I work for a school district and get out shortly before 3:30p.m. I can take dog (s) to the dog park or on a short rides or walk to get some energy out. About: My family has had dogs, cats and fish my whole life. I often watch them when my parents are out of town and I have dog and cat sat for family & friends for years. I have helped a friends family with their cattle and pigs, but am not as experienced with livestock outside chickens. I’m currently available 7 days/wk I work as a server in my pleasant so whoever I’m staying with ideally should be able to go 6-8hrs between potty breaks! If I have 2 weeks or more advanced notice I can make arrangements to be able to check in more frequently. o o o o o o o o o o I love interacting with the pets and getting to see them get more comfortable with me. About: I have taken care of dogs for the majority of my life. I’ve grown up with them in many parts of my family and i’ve also taken care of family-friends animals when needed! I have been around them my whole life and wouldn't want it any other way. I come from a large, mostly rural dwelling family, my grandma had 11 kids 2/3 of which have at least 1 or more dog(s) including my mom. I've always had my own and/or lived with roommates/friends/family, that have/had dog(s) in every house I've lived from day 1 to the present. Although I can't say I've taken care of every breed out there (doubt that many people can) I have definitely seen my fair share of mutts and purebreds alike; from Corgis to Chihuahuas, Danes to Dobermans, Lhasa Apsos to Shar Peis, and even a couple of wolves (3/4 mixes) as well as a few rodents, cats, reptiles, arachnid and birds. Big or small I love "em all, but if you forced me to pick a favorite I'd have to go with the affectionate yet intimidating Perro de Presa Canario. In short, if either by choice or necessity you find yourself in need of a caretaker for your 4-legged (or more) companion(s), know that I would be elated for the opportunity and you can be assured that their health and well-being will invariably be at the forefront of my mind in all that I do while they're in my care. About: I've taken care of dogs and cats ever since I've been on my own. I understand how to read animals' behaviors, enjoy giving belly rubs and treats (if okay with you), I currently have 3 dogs, a female German Shepherd, Klee Kai and male husky mix. I am skilled in handling dogs and cats of all ages and am willing to learn any specifics needed for your special guy! I can usually care for an animal in the evenings on weekdays and anytime on the weekends. I am available for play dates, potty breaks, and walks around the neighborhood.
