We are a dog-loving family (mom, dad, and three teens) and currently have one little guy named Smalls and one slightly bigger guy named Max. I would love to help out with your dog, whether it’s a long walk around the neighborhood, a check-in and playtime, or giving him/her a comfortable place to call home for a few nights. I currently work from home and have a very flexible schedule. When I am away from home it’s usually for no more than a few hours, and usually two or three of us are at the house most of the time (my husband also works from home...and we have two daughters doing virtual school and college classes). If you choose the daycare option, this includes up to 9 hours of care. Please contact me if you need more or have a schedule question. Boarding overnight includes 24 hours of care. I have a large open fenced yard to play with your dog, as well as a nice neighborhood for long walks. I do prefer for dogs to be crate-trained for their safety if I need to leave the house and no one is currently home. My little dog can be slightly anxious about new friends at first but usually warms up quickly since I've been doing this for a while now! Also, we do have several different areas in the house if we needed to separate dogs for any reason. Safety is our number one priority. I work for myself as well and like to take breaks by walking around my neighborhood so it’s easy for me to find time for your pet. I’m available most the weekend as well unless something unexpected comes up. I have a one room apartment near college hill park, it’s an ideal location for dog walking, as it’s a very safe and walkable neighborhood. Being in a small space makes boarding a little difficult (which is why I charge more for it) but it is doable.

I brush all of my animals teeth daily, walk my dogs daily, and clean my cats litter box at least twice a day. I am very attuned to subtleties and changes in my animals behavior to ensure that they are in good health! About: I worked at a veterinary hospital for 6 years prior to changing careers to become a pet groomer & dog trainer. With this experience comes a broad range of knowledge to ensure sufficient care for all kinds of animals. I work full time as a pet groomer & dog trainer but I still have a bit of flexibility to help take care of animals when the owners need help. I have a 6 foot privacy fence for my yard in town so that your dogs can have space to roam freely without a leash. I have 2 large, friendly dogs & 2 cats in my home that are allowed to roam freely. If your animal is staying in my home, they will be kenneled if I am not there to supervise. For walks, all dogs will stay leashed. Your rules apply if I am caring for your animal/s in your home, unless I see a safety issue & I will act accordingly.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs ever since I was 5 when I fully trained my Cocker Spaniel dog. I potty trained her and taught her to climb stairs when she was only a puppy. After that I learned tricks and educated myself how to feed them correctly. My family and friends trust me their fur babies to bath them and walk them when they don’t have the time. I also clip the nails and play the groomer with small and medium dogs. I enjoy playing with them but I also practice discipline with dogs. I am available after 5pm weekdays (Mon-Thurs) for walking, full availability weekends (Fri-Sun) for walks, and on weekends for boarding. About: I can be available for walks whenever needed, I understand weird work schedules and I can work around your schedule. I'll be home full-time while I'm watching your dog. As long as you are ok with it too on nice days I'd love to take the dogs out hiking or to the local park. On colder days we can stay in and play fetch or squeaky toy :) I live in a dog friendly apartment. I don't have a yard but I can take dogs out as often as needed or wanted .
