Bear is almost 14 years old and not interested in playing, but he got along well with Veronica’s gentle dog, who Veronica carefully introduced to him. He likes to be with people, and he was so comfortable with Veronica that he relaxed at my feet when she and I chatted, instead of pulling me out the door. Veronica was very careful to help Bear negotiate around her house, as he doesn’t see well, and she was clever in making sure he could safely go out. There's no sugarcoating it.. I'm a busy bee who works full time and has 2 kids, but rest assured I don't take on more than I can handle. I always discuss your pet's needs and schedules with you before accepting a job. I understand that it is not easy leaving your pets in the care of someone else, let alone someone you've just met! Your pets will get the utmost care with me by getting all the snuggles, all the treats, all the fetch/tug of war, or... all the leaving them the heck alone if *that's* more what they're in to. I am also comfortable giving a variety of medications and dog and cat CPR certified.
About: I have always been a dog lover, and I love meeting new pooches! I have sat for many dogs over the years, and have recently trained my own service dog named Dolly Parton. She is my best friend and can meet your dog- or not- we're flexible! I work full time days, but my evenings and weekends are typically free for pet care. If needed I can also take an extended lunch break to check on your pet. I am available to play with your pet at your place or a park if they are up for a drive. I am very active, so if your dog wants to go for a walk or a run, I'm ready to work up a sweat!
About: "I’ve taken care of dogs of every kind since I was 10. Neighbors, friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed and bathe their pets..i have experience with disabled animals as well. I work for the school district and home early daily. If I'm not home my mother is. We also are able to schedule around each other if needed so that somebody is always home. About: I've had a cat in my life since the day I was born, my parents still own the one we got when I was 13 (he's now 19 and going strong). I also walked a neighbour's dog from 12 to 21 (a lhasa apso) and have experience walking other dogs in a range of sizes, from papillon up to a 100+lb show golden retriever. Currently living the housewife life so schedule is flexible as heck. My own animals have a flexible feeding schedule in that they don't like food to be late, but if it's early they are thrilled. If your dog is crate trained, I'm willing and able to continue that as needed. Open to whatever walk length is needed for the pet in caring for. Willing to walk cats too if your kitty is leash trained (one of mine is and loves his outside time).
About: I have a huge heart for pets & animals in general - I have been drawn to them since I can remember! Growing up I used to assist our local vet with surgery prep and wound care. I realized I was meant more for the "loving" of animals rather than the "medical care" when vaccinations or other scary things happened - all I could do was comfort the pet! I have cared for almost every kind of pet there is, and I enjoy giving Moms & Dads the peace of mind I know that I need when I am busy or out of town. I work in West Wichita (my office IS pet friendly if your pup has the right temperament) and my hours are Mon-Thurs from 8am-5pm, and Fridays 8am-3pm. This limits my ability for mid-day stop ins during the week, but I am fully available in the mornings, evenings, and all weekend hours. All pet care routines are different! Since the level of care required can vary greatly from family to family, I offer a few different "versions" of each service, and modify my rates according to time/effort committed. Please reach out if you have a hybrid (drop-in/house-sit/boarding) request - if we are a good match I am confident we can find the right arrangement for your pets needs. I recognize that your fluff-butts are part of your family, and pride myself on the ability to make them feel loved and comfortable while in my care. Photos & videos are consistently sent along with scheduled updates - you will NEVER have to wonder if your pet is happy with me! If booking a longer stay, I prefer to iron out all details of your request with an hourly schedule so there is no room for confusion or misunderstanding. About: I’ve been in love with animals for as long as I can remember, I grew up with multiple dogs in my home along with a few cats and fish. I even bought my own dog as soon as I moved out! I currently watch my own dog, my household family pets at my dads, and my household family pets at my moms when they are out of town. I am a full time state licensed esthetician, leaving my schedule to be very flexible. I’m happy to visit your fur babies whenever is best for your schedule, whether that’s feeding, walking, or cleaning your pets while you’re at work or off on a trip. About: I usually pet sit for family and friends but I have decided to extend my pet sitting services to others that need it. I don’t have any speciality training but I do know how to love and care for dogs. My dog is 11 years old and is the sweetest dog with the best temperament - so I know I did something right! I currently work approximately 6 hours per day Monday through Friday. I am available on weekends and holidays. I can often accommodate short notice and same day bookings when my schedule allows. Your dogs comfort and care are important to me, and I will do my best to provide a flexible and reliable boarding experience. My home has a large, fully fenced yard with plenty of space for dogs to run, play, and relax in the sun. Fresh water is always available, and I have a small doggy door that can be used throughout the day for easy access to the yard.
