About: Hi, I’m just a Friends University student that would love nothing more than to call this my job. I’ve always loved animals and have pet -sitted for neighbors etc. over the years. I also have first hand experience working as a camp counselor for kids - after that, pets seem like the easiest job in the world. I have gaps thru the entire day and will soon be done with the semester, so am basically free to pet sit whenever and wherever as needed by you. It’s entirely up to you. About: I worked at a boarding kennel for about a year (Andover boarding kennel) and since then I have been watching dogs, cats, birds etc ever since. It is a passion to work with animals and help people give their fur babies attention when their schedules don’t allow for it as often as they’d like to. I currently work for Derby Police Department and treat everyone’s fur babies as my own while they stay with me. I give my undivided attention to each and every pet as well as getting them worn out from all of the playing. If the owners will allow it, my dogs and cats are very sweet and love to play with other dogs so there are opportunities for socializing as well! I work Monday through Friday 0800-1700, but I still ensure lots of play time and socializing happens during their stay! This is done through positive reinforcement with treats and lots of praise. I have a specific room for the dogs to be crated. It’s climate controlled, a quiet location so they can feel comfortable and not at all anxious. Dogs and cats do not have access to any toxic chemicals or things that would harm them. “Was our first time having Anubis boarded and he seemed to have really enjoyed his stay. Eric and Hailey are very sweet people. Feel bad our dog kept peeing on their Christmas tree but over all was a great experience. He gave us daily updates and photos which helped with his daddy's anxiety. :)”

“Genuine 5 star review for Karlee. I was traveling through Wichita and had made arrangements with another Rover in town who ended up cancelling on me less than 24 hours before my arrival. I reached out to Karlee who communicated clearly, concisely and very quickly. She really came through for me and I had no question that my pup would be well cared for within minutes of meeting her. House, yard, and fenced yard were perfectly suited for boarding. Highly recommend!”

“I cannot say this from the rooftops loud enough, but Kate was amazing! From the moment she got our dog Abbey, I received photos and updates throughout our trip. She was able to spot check a few things at our house when she picked up our dog and even checked on the cat without us asking. We could tell Kate cared a lot about our dog and was very considerate with the time to pick up our dog. We are grateful that our dog loved her and her pets so much, she slept like a rock after their visit! This makes our next stay out of town a breeze, because we know who we are going back to!”
