We were visiting in Hutchinson, KS and our dog Elmer stayed overnight with Sam, his roommate and Trapper, a high energy, playful and very friendly dog. The two dogs meshed well wonderfully and got “lots of exercise” and play time. This was Elmer’s first night away from us as he is a recent adoptee and apparently he didn’t seem to miss us one bit. Sam was great about sending frequent updates and pictures while hosting Elmer which really helped alleviate any concerns we had. We wholeheartedly recommend Sam and would have no reservations about using his services again!”

I currently work full-time with a mix of working from home and in the office, but my office is 5 minutes from my house, and my schedule is very flexible. I have a fenced yard, one mini dachshund who loves to play and relax, and I allow dogs on the furniture. My dog and I go on frequent walks, depending on the weather, if backyard play isn't enough for your dog.

It was such a great experience and a relief to know our baby was safe and happy while we were away. Janet was very easy to work with and provided updates and photos for us.”

Kathy made the whole thing so easy and gave me one less thing to worry about on a really special day for us. Salvy clearly had a wonderful time, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. About: I’ve been caring for animals since I was young. Growing up on a farm taught me how to look after all kinds of animals, and over the years family, friends, and neighbors have trusted me to care for theirs whenever they’re away. My dogs are like kids to me, so I understand how important it is to treat someone else’s animals with the same love and attention they get at home. I’m available full‑time to care for your animals and would love to welcome them into my home! I’ll make sure they’re comfortable, safe, and well‑loved while you’re away. I have a fully fenced backyard and two small dogs who would love the company. If you prefer, I can keep them completely separated, and I’m also happy to use a crate if that’s what your dog is most comfortable with.

About: I've been taking care of pets for family, friends, and neighbors for years. I grew up around dogs and have yet to meet one that doesn't like me. Through the years, I've taken care of all types of dogs and cats; from young, crazy pups to old, sick dogs and from ornery mostly outdoor cats to snuggly kitties that want to use me as a bed. My other job is remote, so my schedule is very flexible for whatever your pet may need. Weekends or weekdays doesn't make much of a difference. I'm also a morning person, so early morning walks, feedings, etc are perfectly fine! For boarding, I have one pet friendly roommate and dog. The dog is so cat friendly that she annoys some cats by trying to convince them to play. My yard is fenced, but there is currently a damaged section that has been covered with temporary plastic fencing. The damage will be repaired soon and until then, I don't let anyone out there without supervision. For house sitting or drop-ins, I treat your pets the way I would want mine treated. I also try to match any routines your pet might be used to, if it's eating at a certain time or always being let out at a certain time, just let me know and I'll make sure to keep things as familiar as possible for your furry friends.
