About: I’ve spent most of my life caring for animals, and it’s something I genuinely enjoy and take seriously. I’m calm, reliable, and pretty tuned in to how animals communicate what they need, especially when they’re in a new space or off their usual routine. With over 20 years of experience caring for pets of all sizes and personalities, I’m comfortable working with senior pets, administering medications (including injections when prescribed), and supporting animals who need a little extra patience. I focus on keeping things steady and low stress so pets can relax, settle in, and feel comfortable while their people are away. Pet care is built into my daily routine rather than squeezed in around other commitments. Because I work from home, I’m able to structure my day around visits, walks, and check-ins, and adjust as needed for each pet’s schedule. I’m home throughout the day and keep a steady, flexible rhythm that allows me to be present and attentive rather than rushed. Safety and comfort are always my top priorities, whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home. I’m thoughtful about supervision, separation when needed, and making sure each pet has appropriate space to rest, eat, and decompress. I follow each pet’s usual routines as closely as possible and keep environments calm and predictable. I’m careful about doors, gates, leashes, and transitions, and I check in frequently to make sure pets are comfortable and settling in well. My approach is low stress, attentive, and focused on helping pets feel secure in whatever space they’re in.

Administered medications according to owner and vet guidelines to dogs and cats. Bathed, blow dried, brushed, and gave nail trims to dogs. Most of my own pets have been rescues, so I have extensive experience with dogs with "quirks" and those that require specialized care, schedules, and medications. My pup always walks 3-4 times a day, for at least 30 minutes each time. I work during the day, but I come home for lunch every day for a midday potty break. For him, it's a great balance between rest and activity. I'd be happy to take your pup(s) along with us or adjust as needed! I'm often home on weekends and like to take my pets along on short errands for extra quality time. My dog Rocky is a spry senior who loves other dogs. He does roam freely at home, but we always walk with a harness and leash. He's lived with medium and large dogs with different dispositions, so he warms up quickly. I can work with pets in crates and have plenty of space to separate food, toys, etc. My doors are always closed, and my home is partially child-proofed, so there's no need to worry about your pup(s) getting into things they shouldn't. I live across the street from a vet in case of emergencies.

Let me know your pet needs and we can figure out a schedule for them . I’m flexible and willing to work with you on your pet needs. I do not have a fenced yard but will have your dog on a leash and be with them the whole time they are outside.

About: I love dogs and want to give your dog the best care possible! I am home full time. I look after dogs like they are my own. Walking dogs, is my favorite! I have handled dogs of all kinds and sizes from extra small to extra large and also blind and deaf dogs as well. I have been watching dogs for over 12 years now. I am lucky to have a dog of my own as well! If your dog is staying with me overnight for multiple days I walk them once or twice a day depending on your preference. I do not usually kennel dogs during the day, unless I need to run an errand or have an appointment, because I am home and want all animals to feel comfortable and like this is their home as well. I live in a house with a fenced in yard. When boarding and during the day I only take 2-3 dogs at a time so your dog can have the attention and love it deserves. I take pet care extremely serious and want you to be at ease knowing your pets are being looked after.
